I arrived at homeowners home. I was to work off of estimate to replace approximately 15 feet of 3 inch for the kitchen drain due to it being full of grease and me not being able to clear it. I was out this Wednesday and left him the estimate to get the work done and we set it up for today. I started by removing the old 3 inch and cleaning out what leftover grease I could. I’ve been installed the new 3 inch and connected it on both ends, and made sure that it had proper fall. I then went up to the kitchen sink and filled it up twice with hot water and let it drain to make sure the issue has been resolved and all was well. I’ve been cleaned up and show the homeowner everything and got his approval. Thank you for choosing keep smiling Plumbing and electric heating and cooling. There is a one year parts and labor warranty on all the work that was done today through keep smiling plumbing

At today’s service, Mr. Cable was interested in having a ceiling fan replaced in the living room with one they had supplied. The fan they had purchased was a Hampton Bay 52” Rockport indoor ceiling fan. I provided an estimate for this work to which he agreed to. Therefore, I removed the old existing fan. Mr. Cable informed me they wished to keep this fan and therefore, I did not haul it away for them. I assembled and installed the new ceiling fan back in the same location as the previous fan. This fan is controlled by a single toggle switch. To operate the blades and light independently, this is done at the pull-chains attached to the fan.

Business likely has a slab leak with CPVC piping underneath the slab without sleeving. Turned off all fixtures and isolated system and water meter was still spinning rapidly indicated water escaping. Referred to leak Detection contractor for locating slab leak. Once located, Keep Smiling can go through floor/slab and repair leaking pipe. Will generate estimate when leak is located.

Arrived at home owners home. Homeowner had a kitchen sink that was completely blocked up and was not draining. After talking with the homeowner, he explained that he already had another plumber out but they charged him to fix the P-trap and said that the issue was in the P-trap and now it is backing up again. I gave the homeowner an estimate to run my snake through the kitchen P-trap, with the attempt to clear the blockage. I also explained that it is highly likely that it is a grease blockage, and that he may need to get the pipes replaced. I was unable to fit my machine through the inch and a half P-trap so I went downstairs to the open garage and cut the 2 inch pipe loose then ran my machine from that point. I cleared out about a half a bucket of grease, then security pipe back together and went upstairs to run water, but it immediately backed up again. I explained to the homeowner that we would have to replace the section of pipe due to it being full of grease and my machine not b

Upon arrival, I was greeted by Ms. Bittman. She is currently in the process of selling her home. During this buying/selling process the inspector noted two plumbing issues. The water pressure was high, and the rear hose spigot would not shut off. I double checked and confirmed that the inspector was accurate on both. I provided an estimate to get these parts replaced. With the help of management, we were able to agree on a price. Ms. Bittman signed the estimate, allowing me to move forward. I replaced the original 25AUB pressure valve with an N45 pressure valve. The host spigot was originally a multiturn style. I replaced it with another multiturn style. I also terminated the spigot a few inches away from the wall. This will allow for easy access for replacing it in the future. In order to replace the spigot, I had to create holes on the inside and outside of the wall. These holes were patched using hydraulic cement. I pressure tested everything and found no signs of leaks. I advised

Toilet downstairs was running, causing water bill to be high, turned toilet off and meter not turning and checked valve for pump was broken and leaked when pump came on, cut out and replaced check valve and ball valve for pump and complete rebuild downstairs toilet.tested and working fine.

On arrival, customer claim that her sink was backed up. She started saying that it started whenever they last used the garbage disposal. I told her that the reason it’s clogged is because of all the bends she has in her drain pipes. But I will give her an estimate on it and try to unclog it. Some other company went on top of the roof and unclogged it once. But unfortunately, unfortunately, we do not do this at this company due to liabilities. So I will try to snake from the kitchen drain. After snaking it three or four times I ran hot water at the same time I was snaking it. Perfectly fine. I kept running hot water while I was picking up my tools. No backups were seen. Thank you for choosing keep smiling Plumbing!!!!!
Excellent service, friendly and efficient.

Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowner was trying to fill up his Jacuzzi pool in the backyard and accidentally broke the hose bib off. After talking with the homeowner, he explained that he was trying to fill his pool up and has a water saver on the hose bib and it was spraying all over the place so he went to go and tighten it up, but ended up twisting the hose bib and snapping off the CPVC behind it. I looked on the other side of the wall and found that the water heater was in front of it so I would have to work around it. I explained that we would have to cut the CPVC behind the heater and then stick a new piece through with a new hose bib and glue it on. I gave the homeowner an estimate to replace the back hose bib. Homeowner accepted. I did the work. When work was done, I turned on the water to test for any leaks and functionality and all is well. Homeowner wanted me to check the pressure as well as turn up the temperature on the water heater. I check the pressure at the back hose

Upon arrival customer stated that he had a toilet that would not stop running and he had already ran and got a fill valve to install. Upon further inspection I found that the pressure on the home is still 80psi and I let the him know that this issue is being caused by because of the high pressure on the home and he said that he is selling the house and just needs this to be fixed Today I replaced an old fill valve in the hall bathroom toilet with a customer supplied fill valve No warranty due to high pressure

KSPEHC was called out for a shower head not functioning properly and a fireplace not able to be lit. On site tech was taken to both upstairs bathrooms. Guest shower wasn’t producing water and master shower had weak flow. Tech was able to turn a setting on the guest shower head and water began flowing. The master shower head had debris in the screen filter causing a significant reduction in flow. Once debris was removed water was able to freely flow like new again. Gas fireplace was turned off which was the reason it wasn’t lighting with the switch. Tech was able to get pilot light engaged and then burners activated. Switch on wall was then able to be used for quick use.

Arrived homeowners home. I was to work off estimate to clear the blockage in the downstairs bathroom due to it, backing up in the toilet and shower, then camera the line to see why it was backing up, then install a new Toto aquia toilet with a wash lid, and an auto flush feature. We started by uninstalling the existing downstairs toilet, then running the sewer machine to clear the blockage. We found the blockage at the end of the line right before it dumps into the basin for the sump pump. Once blockage was cleared we ran the camera to investigate the line to see what was going on, and everything looked well. We then started installing the Toto toilet. Once toilet was installed we caulked it to the floor, then installed the auto flush feature to the toilet. Once work was completed, we tested for leaks and functionality and all is well. Thank you for choosing keep smiling Plumbing and electric heating and cooling. All the work that was done comes with a one-year warranty through keep s

Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowner is having problems with the downstairs bathroom backing up. He called me Tuesday afternoon and explained that the downstairs bathroom when it is used it’ll back up into the shower. After talking with the homeowner, he explained that he ran the utility sink in the basement to see if the sub pump will check on to see if it was a sub pump issue or not. He explained that he ran the sink for a couple minutes and waited for the pump to kick on, but it didn’t, he was thinking that it was the pump because it didn’t kick on but later throughout the day, he heard the pump kick on telling him that the pump was functioning, how it was supposed to. Homeowner was concerned because he thinks there might be a break in the wind, causing sewage to get caught on the crack and caused a back up. I explain to the homeowner that I could pull the toilet and run a dream machine with the attempt to clear the blockage and while I’m doing that I can also run a camera to inspe

Cut the sheet rock in the garage to find the main issue that is causing the water to pour into the garage. We do not replace the sheet rock. The pex pipe in the garage ceiling seems to have had a freeze break. Removed section of pipe that was split. Replaced back with a new piece and 2 couplings. Turned the water on to check for anymore leak, none was found.

Customer has leak in basement coming from bathroom above. Upon running water in hall bathroom shower, found that water is leaking through tile shower floor moisture barrier or shower pan. Also existing shower drain is designed for a fiberglass shower not tile shower. Recommend having tile company replace tile and moisture Barrier and have us replace shower drain. (See estimates)

KSPEHC was called out to clear a line from the outlet of the grease trap to the sewer connection. During inspection tech noticed there is no way to get access to the outlet line without cutting into the piping system and adding a cleanout. Manager on site called to verify approval before tech began work. Once line was cut tech was able to perform jetting service to the outlet line and break through a lot of grease build up. After installation of cleanout access tech reset removable flooring section and diamond plate cover.

Upon inspection nothing is wrong with the heater. Everything is working properly
