Job Locations and Reviews
Arrived on the job and spoke with our client about what problem she was needing us to correct. After looking over the job and seeing what the issue was, I informed our client that the GFCI in the garage controlled the bathroom outlets and needed to be replaced to avoid nuisance tripping. No work was performed.
Replace faucet Existing faucet is leaking internally do to corrosion damage Install new faucet delta foundation 30 day parts and labor warranty $855 estimate for kitchen and additional bath room good through end of February
Upon arrival, customer stated that there was a water leak in her ceiling. When I arrive she took me to the bathroom that she has been seeing water stains in the ceiling in for about two years I grabbed my ladder and went into the attic, and upon my inspection, I found that there was no plumbing, ran throughout the attic, except for the plumbing vents that allow air into the plumbing drains in order to help the water flow throughout. I did find that near The 3 inch plumbing vent for the master bathroom and kitchen. There was a lot of rot on the roof and could clearly see where water has been making it through for a while now. I have attached pictures to this invoice for a better understanding of the situation at hand Thank you for choosing Keep Smiling Plumbing electric, heating and cooling and have a very merry Christmas!
Customer recently purchased home and had an inspector point a “flying tap” in the attic. Under some investigation on my part, I found that the inspector did not check the inside of the panel. There I found “double tapped neutrals” that was allowed at the time when the house was built in 1989 but now is known to be a fire hazard. This is something the inspector could’ve pointed out if he went into the panel.
Customer advised me that an outlet in the living room are started sparking and crackling when she was using a space heater. She then proceeded to tell me that the rest of the outlets down the line also, didn’t have power. I checked all the plugs with my plug tester, and found that only the one that was initially sparking, had no power. I then started to change the outlet and notice the neutral (white) wire was burning up and melting the outlet. After the new was installed I checked all the outlets in the living room and they all read 120v.
At todays service, Mr. Brian and Mrs. Ariel have been experiencing an issue with their furnace not working. They had an HVAC technician come out from another company and he determined that the furnace was not receiving power. With this issue, I recommended a diagnostic be performed to identify the issue. Mrs. Ariel agreed to this estimate. During the diagnostic, I was able to determine half of the 240 volt breaker was broken and the reader was only producing 120volts. With this, I recommended that the breaker be replaced to which Mrs. Ariel agreed. Therefore, with the new 50 amp 240 volt cutler hammer breaker in place, it is now producing the proper 240volts. This allowed the furnace to kick on and run and begin to heat the house while I was present. The breaker comes with a 1 year warranty.
Arrived on the job and spoke with our client about what work he would like performed today. After discussing everything with our client and looking it all over, I wrote up a couple of options for him. We moved forward with the instillation of an outlet above the mantle as well as pulling an HDMI cable from above the mantle to the corner of the room. Once completed with the work I collected payment. 1 Year Warranty
Installed new furnace control board. Tested system and it began to heat as it should. On further inspection on upstairs system it was determined the gas valve has failed and also needs a new thermostat. Homeowner stated she wants to wait on repairs for upstairs unit. A today’s service, Mr Copeland is looking to have an outlet installed for his dryer. There is currently no 240volt dryer hookup in the house and Mr. Copeland has a three prong dryer. Two estimates were worked up for this work. The first would be for having a three prong receptacle added, the wiring added from the panel box as well as the breaker. The second estimate was for having the 4 prong receptacle installed with the circuit from the panel and breaker. I also worked up an estimate to have the panel box replaced as it is original to the house being built and based off the inside condition of it, it will need to be replaced soon.
On arrival inspected two 1998 Heil gas furnaces. Found that both furnace control boards have failed. Discussed findings and went over options with homeowner. Quoted for furnace control boards also discussed full system replacements. Left proposals for replacing one 2.5 ton ac and 80% gas furnace and one 3.0 ton ac / 80% gas furnace. Note: prices are with finance charges, cost will be 10% less if paying by cash or check. Homeowner will let us know what he decides. Thank you for choosing Keep Smiling. Have a great day.
Arrived on the job and looked over what would be required to repair the circuit. Once finding that an outlet needed to be installed in a space where an outlet used to exist, I wrote up a price to install an electrical box and GFCI in the stated location. After some discussion and speaking with the manager, we were unable to come to an agreement at this time.

Upon arrival customer stated he wanted an estimate to rough in a shower valve and shower drain for an added shower onto his hall bathroom I took a look around the worksite, and it would be about 6 feet of concrete to jackhammer up to attach on to the 3 inch main drain line under the concrete to then run a 2 inch drain line off of it running to the center of the shower Customer was An estimate to satisfy his wants and needs for his new shower Thank you for choosing Keep smiling Plumbing, electric, heating and cooling!

At todays service, Mrs. Johnson was wanting us to take a look at the wiring for the Ac/heat pump because when they run it causes the lights to flicker in the house on the start up. She also wanted us to looking into some outlets in a bedroom because when an iron is ran, the light on it goes on and off. An estimate was provided for our minimum diagnostic to which she agreed. For the AC/Heat pump, the panel was inspected and found to have no loose connections. Voltage was measured to a perfectly balanced 124.7 on both legs. The disconnects for the units were also examined and no loose connections were present. The issue with the lights flickering is caused by the startup of the units. This is a normal behavior as the startup of electric heat pumps as well as AC units draw a significant amount of power to get them operational which happens to drain the house power for a split second which is noticed by lights dimming for a split second then going back to normal once they heat pump and ac

Georgia Power left a note saying that some repair work needs to be done near the meter base. The note was handwritten and it was difficult to understand so we’re not 100% sure what the issue is but based on what we can figure out either going to be something loose in the meter base itself, or the fact that the main grounding wire isn’t secure. If the issue is inside the meter base, Georgia Power needs to turn off the power for me to evaluate the situation and figure out if we can fix it or if it needs replacement. Customer has quotes on replacement or fix (if possible), the meter base, and for grounding system. Upon further inspection I was able to determine that the panel was original to the house, built in 1998, making the panel 26 years old. I informed the customer that the panel is highly recommended to get replaced. Surge protection also recommended.
