KSPEHC was called out for tankless issue. On arrival homeowner stated that tankless unit would work fine and then not at all. This issue has been going on for several months. She also stated the unit was throwing a code 10 and a code 12. Both of these codes reflect issues with fan venting and heat exchanger combustion. Tech mentioned with the age of the unit and the cost of repairs it may be more beneficial to replaces the unit to guarantee a full proof repair and also take advantage of a fresh manufacturers warranty. Homeowner needs to discuss options before making final decision
At todays service, Mrs. Hawthorne was expericing an issue with the upstairs hallway detector beeping from an end of life cycle. They had pulled the detector down to get it to be quiet. Two options were presented to Mrs. Hawthorne as far as replacement of the unit. The first option was to simply replace the detector with a new one. The second option was to replace all the detectors with detectors that have built in batteries that do not need to be replaced for 10 years. Mrs. Hawthorne elected to have the one individual detector replaced with a detector with replaceable batteries. Therefore, the new detector has been installed. This detector will need to be replaced in 7 years as this is its end of life expectancy. It was recommended thst whole home surge protection be installed into the main electrical panel. A whole home surge protector protects everything within the home from surge. An estimate was sent over for this.
At today’s visit, Mr. And Mrs. Landis were looking to get estimates for various projects around the house consisting of having power added to a shed, a flood light installed, hot tub installed, and wiring added for a possible screened in porch. All of these were estimates and gone over with Mr. And Mrs. Landis. These estimates have been emailed.
We came out on 7/17/24 to replace thermal expansion tank and master bath Delta valve cartridge. Now we’ve returned because master shower head is dripping again. Upon checking pressure found it to be 60 psi which is normal and thermal expansion tank is working properly with plenty of air pressure. Replaced valve cartridge under warranty to remedy issue. No charge under warranty.
Upon arrival, customer stated he needed more room inside of his utility closet and wanted one of the water heaters that are ran and series to be removed. Customer was left with estimate to remove the water heater.
On arrival to home found that home has never had a central heating and cooling system. Inspected crawlspace and attic to determine whether or not we could install a package unit and run ductwork in crawlspace or if a split system in attic would work best. Measured square footage of home and came up with approximately 1,056 sq ft. Recommend a 2.5 ton system. We will work up an estimate and email over. Thank you for choosing Keep Smiling. Have a blessed day.
Copper to cpvc connections under the kitchen and guest bathroom sinks, as well as the emergency stops are recommended to be changed. The cpvc on the water heater especially on the cold side, which is sagging with the expansion tank needs to be changed. Quotes have been given, and can be picked and chosen from
Upon arrival, customer claimed that she wanted her kitchen faucet replaced, with one she bought last week. I gave her an initial price to replace it. She thought it was a little too high so I brought it down to a price we both agreed on. After replacing the faucet and turning water on to test it, I felt the pressure being a little too high. So I brought it to her husband’s concern, after explaining to him high water pressure could do. I asked him to take me to his water heater so I can get an accurate result. The pressure at the water heater was at 85psi, which was a little too high for a three-year-old house. But I explained to him that you never know when this can go wrong. After giving him price and explaining what I’m going to do, he agreed on it and work was done today. Customer supplied kitchen faucet comes with a 6 month labor warranty only. Pressure reducing valve comes with a one year parts and labor warranty. THANK YOU FOR CHOOSING KEEP SMILING PLUMBING !!!
Arrived on the job and looked over what issues our client was having. After walking everything with the customer I wrote up a fair price for what was needing to be done. We agreed on a price and I got started. A short while later I finished up and the client was pleased.
Ms Teasley had us come out because there was a bad outlet where her window ac unit connects to. Upon some investigation, I determined the outlet had power and was working properly. I then proceeded to connect the ac unit, and the integrated ground fault protection system on the unit tripped immediately. I then let Ms Teasley know there was an issue with the unit and not the outlet. She understood and had me look at another issue in the house. While going over that issue I managed to find the problem without a diagnostic and offered to replace an outlet with bad connections. After replacing the outlet, the bedroom light and hallway light turned on as well.
Wanted us to start but couldn’t due to the generator haveing issues.
