Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowner had upstairs hall bathroom toilet that was continuously running. After talking to the homeowner he explained it last night. He woke up and noticed that the toilet was starting to overflow from the tank and we caught the handle due to the fuel valve, not shutting off, so he shut off the emergency valve, but the toilet fill valve still did not stop. After inspecting work, I found the fill valve indeed, would not shut off along with the emergency stop. I explain to the homeowner that a lot of times pressure can be the leading cause of this situation, so I would like to go and check the water pressure at the bottom of your water heater. After homeowner showed me the water heater, I explained that water heaters tend to only last 8 to 12 years and his is going on about 21 years. I explained that I would not be checking the pressure at the bottom the water heater because a lot of times they will leak after you mess with them. I explain to the homeowner th
Customer advised me that her bathroom exhaust fans were old and loud and would like to replace them with new ones that don’t have the light combo like the original. We then went over the options and agreed to take care of the 2 upstairs. One was located in the master bedroom and the other was in the hallway bathroom. Once installed, I made sure to re secure the vent to the units that lead to the outside.

Clean debris from gas key valve for fireplace and technician will leave estimate for replacement for key valve. NO WARRANTY.
Upon arrival costumer statued the gas company came out here and shut off the meter due to a gas leak. After digging up the area and exposing the pipe, the leak was coming from the 1in coupling for the gas line. I took apart the coupling and added dope in order for the coupling to make a good seal. After repair was made a turned the gas on to make sure the gas line was free of leaks. I then relighted his gas water heater.
Upon arrival, customer stated he had a sewer line blockage by his front yard clean out. Previous company came out and cleared the blockage and they also camera inspected the sewer line. They stated the line had roots and that was the cause of the blockage. Customer wanted estimate to do a pipe line. After further inspection, i ran my camera down the sewer line and I also found roots as well as multiple belly’s inside the line underneath the drive way. I provided customer an estimate for a spot repair as well as doing a full sewer line replacement. The sewer line that is currently in there is approximately 4 feet by the house and it drops down approximately 10 feet by the street.
Re route gas line around the house from the meter and stub back in where the laundry room is in the basement to reattach on to the gas water heater and furnace
On arrival performed heating maintenance inspection on one 2022 Goodman 80% gas furnace. Checking all electrical and mechanical components. Checked one 16x25x1 media filter. Checked blower motor and blower wheel, evaporator coil, ductwork, thermostats, induction motor, pressure switch, hot surface igniter, gas valve, flame sensor, heat rise, voltage, amperage, and capacitance. System is heating properly at this time. Discussed with homeowner her concerns with system and she stated the upstairs thermostat was not working correctly. After inspecting thermostat technician found no issues other than temperature was set lower than she would like. Tech set temperature to her liking for homeowner. System is heating as it should. Added estimate for thermostat replacement should upstairs thermostat start to have intermittent issues. Thank you for choosing Keep Smiling. Have a blessed day and a wonderful weekend.
At today’s visit, Mr. And Mrs. Gose were expericing an issue with their kitchen outlets and under cabinet lights. Last night while cooking their Thanksgiving meal, the air fryer happened to get ran at the same time as the Microwave. With this, power cut out to the affected area. They inspected the breakers and found none to be tripped as well as inspected several of the devices on the circuit to no avail. It was proposed that a minimum diagnostic be performed to identify the issue causing the power loss. They agreed to the estimate and the work began. During the diagnostic, we determined that the breaker controlling the circuit was not producing its voltage but it was in the on position. We determined that the breaker internally tripped however it physically did not show itself as tripped. We were able to reset the breaker to restore power back to the circuit. It is to note that this breaker was manufactured by Sylvania. Sylvania Panels and breakers have been discontinued for multiple
Replace front door bell button because customer stated that her doorbell wasn’t working in the front, but it was in the rear lead me to believe it’s just the button. I replace the button and the doorbell worked as it should.
Upon arrival customer stated he had a leak underneath his dishwasher, And on a outside hose bib he stated he would try to turn off the hose bib but it would not turn off all the way during my investigation we also found that the washing machine box downstairs in the basement was also leaking pretty badly Customer also stated that the gas company had detected a leak somewhere in his home and locked the gas meter I gave customer options to get all of these issues resolved, and he chose the bundle deal option During the air pressure test, we pumped it up to 20 psi, and had to continuously keep pumping it up as we were doing the test, we were losing air really fast. after testing all of the fittings above the slab we came to the conclusion that the leak had to be inside of the slab Customer was given a price to reroute the gas line going from the meter underground around the house, and under a sidewalk to then bring it into the laundry room in the basement where the furnace and gas water
Replaced lav faucet in powder room, along with new emergency shut off valves and supply. Replaced basket strainer and drain line in kitchen.
At today’s service, the cap was put back onto the existing weather head. From the tree falling onto the overhead cable, when the utility company was out they did strip back the service entrance cable thus the weatherhead is unable to be mounted or secured to the siding of the home. The weather head has been put back onto the housing and is secure to prevent rain from entering the service cable. Should Mrs. Phelps experience any issues with flickering lights, appliances not working correctly, she was instructed to reach out to the utility as it could be a symptom of one of their connections failing.
Upon arrival Costumer stated she had a water cooler that she needed to be moved into her new apartment. Costumer approved estimate. Once we disconnected all the water lines to the cooler, we put it in the back of the work truck and drove approximately 10 minutes to her new apartment. It was located in the 4th floor. We had to drill a new hole in the cabinet in order to run the water line to the cooler. After all connections were made I turned the water on to make sure all the connections were free of leaks
Came out to the Umar residence to remove a hot tub plug and git rid of the switch it was on to turn the 2 gang into a 3 gang in the future and run a new switch leg.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by Ms. Blackwelder. She had told me the story of her hose spigot at the backside of the house. The original handle for this spigot had broken off last year. I assessed the original spigot and went into the crawlspace to find where the copper pipe and shut off are at. Ms. Blackwelder allowed me to check her water pressure at the water heater. The pressure is fine, but the thermal expansion tank had failed. I spoke with Ms. Blackwelder about solutions, but we were unable to agree on pricing. What I did end up doing was explaining and showing Ms. Blackwelder that the handle of a spigot she purchased will fit. The only downside is this handle can not be secured to the spigot. Ms. Blackwelder is satisfied with this alternative and plans on being careful with the handle. The estimates were still emailed over. The dispatch fee was charged.

The customer has polybutylene piping under the ground, which is burst it into two separate spots. I gave the customer an estimate to run a waterline from the meter to the home and tie in before the shut off where enters in the garage. The customer was declined from two different finance and companies, which she will contact her bank to see if she can get a financing loan through them.
KSPEHC was called out for a customer supplied faucet install. Once on site homeowner shows tech to hall bathroom on main floor. Homeowner is wanting to have faucet replaced for this bathroom. During inspection of the existing faucet tech noticed the sink is beginning to sag from the wall and is ultimately being held up and supported by the base of the pedestal. Next tech explained that in order to make sure the new fixture investment is protected we need to make sure the pressure is properly regulated on the entire home. Tech checked pressure on bottom of water heater located in the basement. Pressure reading was 60 psi. This is within the safe operating pressure range and no actions are necessary at this time. Homeowner approved tech to install customer supplied lavatory faucet. Tech then noticed the emergency shut off valves do not stop the water. Tech provided an option to replace the valves however homeowner opted out of this service. If there is a need for stop the w
Gave estimate for diagnostic fee to diagnose what is wrong with tankless water heater. Customer stated tankless has not been in use for over a month.
Oh, toilets in the home has severely degraded flush mechanism gaskets. In the hall bathroom the old pop stop style flush mechanism would not seat right even after 5 tries; so I went ahead and put in a new flush valve with flapper on top of the tall valve in that restroom making it a complete toilet rebuild The master bath the flapper was completely concaved, allowing water to continuously escape. So we change that flapper as well. I have an estimate going over for all of the copper in the crawlspace with roughly 9 foot ceilings. None of the copper is insulated nor has heattape.
