Upon arrival, I was greeted by Mr. Perkins. He escorted me to the basement to show me the active water leak that has recently been discovered. I performed an initial no cost assessment and determined which drain pipe the leak was coming from. It was coming from one particular 3 inch stack. The only issue is that the leak was coming from somewhere within the wall. I provided an initial diagnostic estimate for getting access into the wall to find both the pipe and the leak. Mr. Perkins agreed, allowing me to move forward. I began with gaining access to the wall in the main level powder room. Fortunately, I immediately found a hole in the pipe from where there was an old nail I confirmed that water was escaping this hole. I provided an updated estimate for replacing the small section of pipe to alleviate the leak. Mr. Perkins agreed to the updated estimate. The small section of pipe was successfully replaced. Upon testing the drainage, another leak was noticed somewhere within the wall.
Grant was prompt and professional and installed the new outlet quickly.
Andrew Peck installed a new expansion tank and Moen shutoff valve for us. Everything came out great!

Upon arrival showed me to where the original shut off valve is. It is up on top of some shelving in a closet next to the water heater. The thermal expansion tank has visible rust spots that will turn into a pinhole leak. He wants to add an emergency leak detection shut off valve to prevent floods in the condo. Also recommend replacing the thermal expansion tank to prevent a leak from there. Adding the emergency shut off detection valve and replacing the thermal expansion tank will help prevent any known and future issues associated with the building. Removed some of the original water line to make space for the Flo Sense. Reconfigured the plumbing up in the space in the closet to accommodate for the new device. Installed new vacuum breaker for the water heater, also installed new thermal expansion tank. Turned everything on to test for leaks. Connected the device to his phone. It is in learning mode at time of leaving the appointment.

Sent over estimates for new water line and hose Bibb install or just making the connections if he runs the pipe. Running outside the wall in the garage, down into the basement where it will tie into the main.

At todays service, Mr. David was looking to have a receptacle installed near the water heater so that an electronic water shutoff could be installed. The water heater was a 120volt water heater which did have a on/off toggle switch functioning as a disconnect for the unit. This was the power source I could pull from to add a receptacle. I presented an estimate to Mr. David to add wiring from the switch box, to an outlet box which would be installed while installed a 120v duplex receptacle. Mr. David agreed to this. Thus, I installed 20amp wiring from the disconnect switch to a 1900 box which was mounted directly above the switch box. I installed a 120v duplex receptacle into this new outlet box and installed an RS duplex cover. The wiring in place is 20a 12/2 wiring. This new receptacle comes with a 1 year warranty from Keep Smiling Co.

Upon arrival at customers house, I called the customer due to it being a rental house and it being renovated. The customer informed me that he had some issues with his water heater that he wanted to get look at one of them being water heater is not at least 18 inches above the garage A gas odor, expansion tank support, TMP being stuck and TMP being trapped I informed the customer that it would be in his best interest to replacing the whole water heater due to it being 12 years old. The customer informed me that he needed some time to think about what he wanted to do. Thank you for choosing KidSmiles, plumbing, electric, heating and cooling

I was out previously and capped off a half inch line going to the back hose bib. About two weeks ago. The homeowner had a freeze break and it ended up flooding his crawlspace, so I kept off the line and had him dry out his crawlspace so I could install a new hose bib. Homeowner called me today and would like me to come back out and install the hose bib because he said the crawlspace has dried out. Due to where the hose bib originally came out of the house it is severely hard to get to so I talked it over with the homeowner and we are going to reroute, the hose bib from the left side of the porch to the right side. I drilled the new hole through the cinderblock for the hose bib and install the new hose bib. I turned on the water to check for any weeks and functionality and all is well. I sealed up the old hole where the old hose bib used to come out. And sealed up the inside where the new hose bib goes out. Thank you for choosing keep smiling Plumbing in electric heating and cooling. T

Upon arrival, I was greeted by Mr. Boomershine. We walked over to the outside clean out so that he can show me the recent back up he has experienced. I asked Mr. Boomershine to run some water so that I could witness the backup. It immediately backed up with a small amount of water ran. We spoke about the possibility of the roots from the bushes or tree on the property. We also discussed the necessity of having the line replaced if the blockage is caused by a defect in the pipe. I provided an estimate for running my sewer machine down the clean out in order to alleviate the immediate blockage. Mr. Boomershine agreed to the estimate, allowing me to move forward. I ran approximately 100 feet of cable with my sewer machine. The blockage was fully relieved. The cause of the blockage was confirmed to be roots in the sewer. Knowing this information, I emphasized to Mr. Boomershine that the only permanent solution is to dig up the sewer pipe and replace it. For now, Mr. Boomershine was going

Upon arrival costumer stated he wanted to replace 2 of his fill valve, one inside the master bathroom and one in the guest bathroom. After further inspection i noticed only the one inside the master bathroom has faulty due to old age. He wanted to replace the one in the guest bathroom just for preventative maintenance. I checked the pressure by the water heater and it was at 60psi. Costumer approved estimate to just replace both fill valves. After work was completed I tested it multiple times to make sure my repair was working properly. Parts and labor have 90 day warranty

Arrived at customers house with issue of no power in garage after inspection found and replaced bad gfci and 15 amp breaker.
Excellent service

Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowner had the back hose bib burst due to it freezing due to the cold weather. After talking with the homeowner, he explained that he tried to climb underneath the crawlspace to find a shut off valve for the hose bibs, but was unable to. I called underneath the crawlspace to the back where the hose bib exited the crawlspace to see if I could see where the burst was. When I got to the back of the crawlspace, I was unable to see the pipe, so I followed it back and found it and found that it 90s up into the Joyce into a crack and then runs about 10 feet before exits the crawlspace. I also found the crawlspace had a lot of water just sitting right underneath where the burst was. I explained to the homeowner that I could add a shut off valve to shut off the water going to it and come back and replace the hose bib another day when the crawlspace is dry. I gave the homeowner an estimate to replace the hose bib along with adding a shut off valve for it. Homeowner

Upon arrival, customer claim they had a leak coming from the toilet to their crawlspace. Before going to the crawlspace, customer asked if I could recaulk both of their toilets. I said sure and proceeded to go to crawlspace. After inspecting the leak, I saw that it was coming from the master bedroom toilet. Customer also said that they had a remodeled restroom and had that pipe worked on two years ago. The leak was coming from a coupling, connecting the flange to main line. And I saw I had no slack for me to do a repair. I recommended replacing flange and after talking about prices they agreed on work to be done today. After completing work, I tested and no leaks were seen. Customers were satisfied with work Thank you for choosing keep smiling plumbing !!!!!

Customer wanted a second observation and opinion to compare to the original technicians visit. The original technician was Tom. The concern is in regards to a significant water pressure drop when the water passes through the house filtration. I spoke with Tom about his original visit and fully agree with his assessment. The filtration needs to be taken out in order to have consistent flow. Customer asked if I could adjust the psi from 60 to 65 while here. The dispatch fee was not charged today.

Came out to the Corley residence to determine why her outlets in the dining room where not working working upon diagnostic discovered the breaker to be faulty as well as the outlet in the kitchen haveing a crack in it also the Gfci on the same circuit by the dock haveing char marks where it was catching on fire over and over. The tech repalced the tandem breaker and the outlet but cut off the Gfci where it was burnt off.Did also discuss the benefits of a whole home surge protector. When I was inside the panel did hear some buzzing going on and some double tapped breakers which she said she will fix at a later date.(1 year warranty.)

Upon arrival, I was greeted by Mrs. Corley. She brought me to her gas fireplace while describing to me how she believes to have been smelling gas recently. I informed Mrs. Corley that I am able to inspect for leaks and that the fireplace itself would require a fireplace contractor. Mrs. Corley agreed to a minor diagnostic fee for the leak inspection. I used my gas leak detector to inspect the key valve, the connections in the fireplace, and the black iron within the below drop ceiling. The only leak I found is correlated with the key valve. I clarified to Mrs. Corley to contact a fireplace contractor to help with this. I provided her with the information for JR Bolton. I left the gas shut off leading to the key valve in the off position per Mrs. Corley’s request. * No Warranty on inspections.
Service was outstanding. Agent was outstanding. Project took 1/2 hour and bill was $360.00. I think that was pricey, especially for two seniors with limited income.

Came out to Hui residence to give a estimate for over 150 canless lights.

Cleared kitchen sink drain
James is excellent Very cordial and knowledgeable

Descaled 2 Rinnai tankless water heaters located in basement

KSPEHC was called out for low “pressure” in fixtures. While on site tech was shown multiple fixtures experiencing volume drop when another fixture is activated. Tech explained this is usually due to a pressure regulator that has failed. Tech was able to check pressure on the bottom of the water heater located in the basement. Pressure reading at this time was 105-110 psi. Tech explained that this means the regulator has failed and could be a contributing factor into the volume drop. An insert filtration system was also noticed on the wall near the water heater. After Prv Installation tech tested water and the volume drop was better until a fixture with high flow was activated. At this time tech went and bypassed the two filters and the volume drop went away and the water production was back to normal. This means the filters are a secondary reason for the volume drop throughout the home. Now the the safety and proper pressure has been restored the next step is to delete the fi
Your quotes are typically sky high and double of other companies . The dispatch fee is ridiculous. You won’t have to charge it if estimates were reasonable . Half a grand to install a toilet ? Waste of both of our time

Quoted to install customer supplied toilets, has not purchased yet and wanted quotes.
Good Service

Upon arrival, I was greeted by the tenant of Mr. Dinesh. The tenant escorted me around the home to show me what they’ve been experiencing. During the visit, I noticed a multitude of things. The thermal expansion tank had failed, the upstairs hallway toilet needs a new fill valve, there is a small extent of crossover happening within the plumbing, and I suspect that the soaking tub and stand in shower in the master bathroom need to be re-piped. I explained to Mr. Dinesh my suspicion about the soaking tub and stand in shower. I believe the tub only has cold water ran to it while the shower only has hot water ran to it. The crossover issue is caused by one of two components. Possibly both. The shower valve or cartridge may need replaced in the upstairs hallway shower. Possibly multiple showers. The mixing valve in the master bathroom might also need replaced. I discussed with Mr. Dinesh about each of these issues in depth. For the moment he wants estimates sent to him to look over. The di

John was a great technician! He not only showed up on time but he was able to dispel the recommendation of another tech, which in turn save me about 40% over what I was about to pay. Nicely done John….fixing my John!
James explained everything very well! Very courteous and friendly! Highly recommend him!
Best ever!
Johnathan was very helpful on recommendations. If we don’t choose Keep Smiling it will be because of price points based on the 4 estimates we have to consider. Thank you.
Brandon was well mannered and very people oriented. He listened to me as I described the problem. Within minutes he found and solved the problem. Since the fix didn't require any parts, the solution was covered under the service cost. A cost that I found to be very fair.
Good service but expensive
He was very informative and kind. He made sure I could pick a right decision to fix my problem.
Same day appointment. Very knowledgeable.
Marvin was a blessing from the very start. Very personable and experienced. Unlike other plumber who dismiss you and don’t talk directly with you. I will keep this company for future use.
