Tech will return 10 - 23 around lunch time to install water main
Upon arrival, customer stated on Saturday he was down in his basement and saw water dripping from the basement ceiling. He tracked it down to the kitchen behind the refrigerator upon further inspection. I found that the refrigerator itself is leaking. I let him know that he would need an Appliance company to come out and fix the issue
Replaced 1/2” recirculating pump with 3/4” pump and new 3/4” check valve, located in garage.
KSPEHC was called out for customer supplied faucet as well as possible pipe replacement for tankless unit. Once on site tech was taken to the kitchen. Homeowner explained that the existing faucet is having issues with the sensor activation for touches function. She mentioned replacing the batteries monthly but nothing is resolving the issue so a new faucet was purchased without the touchless function to avoid this issue in the future. Homeowner then transitioned into the room where the tankless water heater is located. She explained that other techs from other companies have urged to replace the piping serving the tankless unit. CPVC is connected to the t&p valve and pex is serving the unit for inlet and outlet. Since this home is just over 1yr old I assured her there is nothing wrong with the piping in place and other techs were trying to charge for unnecessary work to be done. With the age of the house being so new it had to pass final inspection in order to be sold and occupied
Keep smiling plumbing will remove as little sidewalk concrete as possible as cleanly as possible. Excavate 10 feet down to the affected sewer line make the repair and backfill.
KSPEHC was called out for a basement sink blockage. Homeowner states water will back up into a kitchen sink at night in the basement. During investigation tech determined the kitchen sink and the lavatory sink that sits back to back are both being affected by this blockage but the toilet and shower remain fully functional. This suggests a blockage in the piping system before it enters the 4” drain. This sink blockage will need to be accessed by removing drain and trap assemblies from the lavatory sink since the kitchen sink is hard piped and nor removable. Homeowner gave approval for tech to remove drain assemblies in order to access the drain line and attempt to clear blockage. While running sewer machine tech noticed black gritty material being forced back out. Not sure if this is coffee grinds or something else. Once blockage was able to be cleared tech reassembled drain connections for lavatory sink and filled the sink with water. Tech also filled both sides of the kitchen

Installing a ceiling fixture within the kitchen on an existing light box, and replacing the existing vent hood with a new one that the customer provided. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Mr. Reddy. He escorted me to his finished basement so that he could show and describe his desire for a kitchen and washing machine box to be installed. After performing a detailed assessment of the basement and gathering pictures and video, I will be working on the estimate. Mr. Reddy is going to double check with his cabinetry contractor on whether or not they’ll be installing the faucet and sink as a part of their process. The goal for Mr. Reddy is to have everything finished during the month of October. The dispatch fee was collected.
Snaked master shower drain
Water came in from rain around water pipe thru foundation wall dug up outside and sealed around pipe at foundation wall and inside as well.customer declined replacement of pressure valve, left quote.
Leak believed to be coming from crack in tub. Working on tub surround replacement estimate.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by Mr. and Mrs. Arey. Mr. Arey brought me to the upstairs hallway bathroom to show me the clogged toilet. I informed him that the procedure would be starting with a basic auger in an attempt to clear the clog. If that were to fell, the next option would be to remove the toilet and use a sewer machine down the drain pipe. I presented an estimate for the basic toilet auger that Mr. Arey agreed to. I successfully cleared the clog using the toilet auger. I flushed the toilet multiple times to ensure consistency.
Installed customer supplied kitchen faucet and complete rebuild to powder and m bath toilets.
Came out to the Carlo residence to diagnose why 2 switches where makeing crackling noises upon diagnostic discovered the swithces have failed and replaced with brand new ones.Advised the Carlo the advantages of doing a whole home redevice due to the issues there already experiencing and the age of the house.The Carlo family also decided to go ahead and install a whole home surge protector while I was here.(1 year warranty .)

Return Tuesday morning
On arrival performed maintenance tuneup inspection on one 2021 model Goodman ac / gas furnace. Checked one 16x25x1 media filter recently replaced and dated. Checked deltaT and have a 24° split between return and supply air temperatures. Checked all electrical and mechanical components. Checked thermostat, blower motor and blower wheel, ductwork, condensate drain line, condensate pump, evaporator coil, condenser coil, voltage, amperage, and capacitance. System is cooling properly at this time. Checked upstairs found Nest thermostat has failed, the rotary dial has failed and not responding. Homeowner is going to see if Nest will send a replacement, if they do not she is going to order an EcoBee thermostat with sensors and have us install. Technician quoted for installation of Homeowner supplied thermostat and added an estimate. Homeowner has mail flyer for tuneup. Thank you for choosing Keep Smiling. Have a blessed day.

Customer already had 3-wire ran to the necessary boxes and had both 3-way switches. I connected the switches properly. I completed the job quickly and collected payment shortly after. Customer was pleased with the work.
