Upon arrival at customers house I was informed that their tankless water heater was not heating up any water I went inside to check if there was any hot water coming from the faucet inside a restroom I waited a couple minutes and there was no hot water I then informed the customer that I would need to get a hold of Rinnai and go through a diagnostic process to figure out what their problem was. I informed the customer that it could be a possible flow sensor, but would need a better verification from rinnai. They agreed and approved my estimate for 188 for a basic diagnostic. I waited for Rinnai to pick up and as soon as they picked up, we went through some procedures to make sure it was the flow sensor. They informed me that there was a three month warranty on the parts so they’re is no charge for the part that was ordered from Rennai. I got the part ordered. They informed me that it would take two days to get here. I informed this as well to the customer and he approved my estimate to

On arrival to inspect for thermostat temperatures not reading correctly. Found one 2018 Goodman 90% gas furnace 3-zone system. After inspection found that zones one and two wires were switched around causing upstairs to heat when main floor thermostat was calling for heat. Switched wires back to the proper locations. After switching zone wires found that zone 2 , the main floor , has a failed zone damper actuator. Made a supply house run to pick zone damper actuator and installed. Once installation was completed tested system and each zone to ensure proper operation. System is now heating as it should. Discussed Keep Smiling Club Membership with homeowner and left estimate should homeowner decide to sign up. At today’s visit, Mr. Bennett had various questions and concerns about the wiring in his home. He was initially interested in having the entire house rewired. Given the age of the home, and the wiring that is in place, I informed Mr. Bennett that is would not be needed as it is modern wiring that does have ground conductors. He showed us a line in the garage for the rv that he felt could be a problem as it was surface mounted along the ceiling. I recommended that this wiring be put into a conduit in this area. He also explained that he wanted a receptacle in the back corner of the garage. I provided an estimate for installing conduit on the wiring that’s surface mounted along with adding a receptacle in the garage and emailed them to him.

Water heater relief valve is leaking and will need to replaced

Upon arrival, customer had an old gas line for stove due to getting an electrical stove. The new stove would not sit flush with the wall due to the gas line sticking out. I informed the customer that it would be best to put a plug on the T where that gas line was sticking out from. Customer agreed and I took out that piece of gas line and put a plug in it. Due to me, turning off the gas to the house once finished with installing the plug, I relit the water heater and the furnace as well. I then checked for leaks and no leaks were present. At todays visit, Mr. Don is in the process of acquiring a EV car and is looking to have a level 2 car charger installed at the home. The charger he has on order is a 48A output charger. The area was evaluated and the meter base was found to have slots in it for adding breakers making it the ideal location for adding a circuit. An estimate was provided for adding a circuit out of this box and mounting it external of the garage on the same brick wall that the meter base shares. The estimate has been emailed to Mr. Don.

Inspected toilet gave a quick plung and toilet began to flush Tech flush toilet 3 times with no issue with customer watching

Upon arrival, I was greeted by Mr. and Mrs. Dinh. The purpose of this visit was to provide a quote for a remodel they plan to do for an unfinished room in the basement. I spent time assessing the layout to brainstorm what it would take to perform the work. I discussed with Mr. and Mrs. Dinh about everything and double checked a few points with management as well. I provided a broken up estimate to reflect two trips and went over the details for each. Mr. and Mrs. Dinh are in the process of gathering multiple quotes. They plan to call us back once they gather all of the estimates. I also noticed that the pressure valve and thermal expansion tank had failed. Pricing for those were included in the estimate. The dispatch fee was charged.

Broken water main going to the house. Homeowner was able to show us where water was literally shooting out of the ground underneath the front bushes. Upon digging down, we found that it was a 1 inch by three-quarter, shark bite connection non-protected under ground. We were able to cut out the section and properly repair with PEX fittings and stainless steel cinch rings. We then pressurize the line and I ensured that everything is functioning properly One year warranty on the repair only

Upon arrival, I was greeted by Ms. Stoutt. We spoke about what’s been going on while she escorted me to the upstairs hallway bathroom. After assessing the toilet, I determined that the fill valve was defective. Ms. Stoutt brought me to her water heater so that I can inspect the water pressure and the thermal expansion tank. The static pressure was within the safe range. The pressure drop was drastic when using a fixture. I also noticed that the thermal expansion tank had failed. I explained to Ms. Stoutt what the expansion tank’s function is for and its importance. I also mentioned that while the pressure valve is at a healthy static pressure, the pressure drop is an indication of the valve’s health. I provided solutions for the fill valve, thermal expansion tank, and pressure valve. Ms. Stoutt chose to let me replace the fill valve and thermal expansion tank. She agreed to the pricing of the estimate, allowing me to move forward. I turned the water off to the property in order to rep

Cleaned and ran camera in 1st floor guest bath toilet flange. Blockage had mostly passed during testing but we used the descaler to scrape the area clean. Recommended pressure assist toilet to reduce chances of future backups due to lack of fall and unfortunate inlet locations. Also recommended Endure treatment to remove residual grease buildup near kitchen inlet. 1 yr labor warranty on toilet.

Met with customer to discuss a new water line installation. Gave him the updated estimate and removed the PRV from the estimate.
I don't trust the estimate. There may be some rock blocking trench digging for an exterior link. The technician could not find the water pressure reduction valve that exist. No detail on the estimate to breakdown the cost. No mention of warranty in writing. Enough said, but I could go on...
