Came out to the Prather residence for a number of issues he was experiencing such as the lights in multiple locations you had to play pick the right switch for it to work upon diagnostic discovered improper wiring as well as multiple devices that had failed such as 3 3 way a dimmer as well as a 4 way switch.1 year warranty on work performed today.

Issue: system not cooling properly and is leaking water due that system is low on refrigerant. House has 1 system. Upon arrival customer showed me the leak and the damage that system caused, she had someone to clear the drain line but system continues leaking water, I found furnace with door opened. Furnace is gas Payne down flow about 23 years old located in a closet. It has an air filter 14x20x1. Found blower motor run capacitor weak reading 7.8 out of 10mfd, this is putting more stress on the blower motor, suggested to replace it. Found blower motor bearings wearing out, suggested to replace blower motor. Found control board with a resistor that has been overheating, suggested to replace it. I noticed that even if the I turn off the furnace the condenser unit continues running, I asked customer is she has noticed that outdoor unit is always running and she said yes regardless if she has the thermostat for cooling or hearing the outdoor unit is always running, explained her that m

Upon arrival customer stated that she has a toilet in the downstairs hall bathroom and that the tank does not fill up and the toilet will not flush. Upon my inspection I found that the fill valve is not allowing water to flow through the fill tube and is dripping out of the bottom of the diaphragm. At today’s visit, I spoke with Mr. Scot. He informed me that recently, a four way switch in the first floor hallway had smoked and burned and he was looking to have this repaired. I inspected this switch as it was already pulled out. I observed that a previous hot connection was made by using a ground crimp. The connection was not tight enough and as such it headed to the point where it had burned. I provided an estimate to have the four way switch replaced to which Mr. Scot agreed. Therefore, I supplied and installed a new 4 way switch. This new switch comes with a 1 year warranty from keep smiling co.

I arrived on the job and spoke with Mrs. Star about what work she would like performed. She showed me to her attic fan which was making noises and not working at full capacity and requested it be replaced. After looking over the area and coming up with the best solution to get that done she showed me to some other things she would like taken care of. Including a fan replacement, relocating a switch, and securing an outlet that’s come loose from the wall. I wrote all of these items up into a quote and sent them over to her. She will be reaching out to her carpenter about opening the exterior wall for access to the attic fan before she agrees to any work. Dispatch fee was collected.

Both attic fans weren’t working. one was disconnected and he other not working. reconnected one and it is working, but the other one needs to be replaced.

I was met on site by Mr. Wagner. An appointment was scheduled with Keep Smiling due to a leak coming from his kitchen faucet. What is more specifically happening is the water is dripping out of the spout. This indicates that one, if not both, of the cartridges have become defective. This is a Brizo brand faucet. I removed one of the cartridges and contacted Ferguson supply about getting them ordered. They have processed a manufacturing warranty after gathering Mr. Wagner‘s information. The water pressure and thermal expansion tank were inspected during the visit. Both are healthy. I provided the estimate for replacing the cartridges once they arrive. Mr. Wagner is going to attempt to replace them himself. He plans on getting us back out if he is unsuccessful. The cartridge was put back in place allowing the faucet to be used again. Arrived at customers home and he stated that he had a leak in the front yard, and whenever his toilet turned on, he could hear pipes banging. After doing a thorough inspection, I decided that it was most likely his fill valve and the water line had come apart at a coupling. I dug up his waterline and repaired it with two couplings and a 1 inch copper stick. Then I proceeded to go upstairs and do a complete rebuild on his toilet. There is no longer a leak in the yard and the pipes no longer make any noise. I also noticed customer has a huge sinkhole in the front yard, and I informed him of that. Upon arrival, customer stated that there was no hot water in home. She also stated that the light on water gas valves were not flashing like they usually do. After further inspection, determined that both gas water heaters pilot lights were turned off. Customer also stated that on previous day, she had both single wall air vent pipes covered due to insects getting into home. This could be a cause of why pilot lights shut off. Relit both heaters and they both functioning properly. No codes were flashing on gas valves. Due to air vent pipes being covered, if pilot lights go out again, we would need to return and relight. I did mention the installation of a tankless heater which would have its own air intake piping ran to exterior of home. Arrived at homeowners home. I was to do work off of estimate to replace the kitchen faucet sprayer and hose with new customer supplied sprayer and hose. I started by removing the existing sprayer and hose then installing the new parts. When work was completed I turned on the faucet and check for any leaks and functionality, and all is well. I showed the homeowner when work was completed to make sure that everything was up to her standards and all is well. I explain to the homeowner that the Fossett body itself is going on 13 years old it is about time to replace the Fossett body itself. I explained that if they purchased the Fossett did, I could charge them labor to put it in. The homeowner was also interested in becoming a club member so I went over all the information with her and left her a pamphlet and she explained to it and will give us a call back when she wants to replace the kitchen faucet. Client called us out to home for a clogged toilet. Upon arrival toilet was full.was able to clear blockage using a rigid toilet auger and restored flow. Technician came out for leak call. Upon arrival, technician performed diagnostic check on system. Unit is producing a 16 degree temperature difference. Condensate pump is working. Found condensate drain line being drained out on to plastic awning underneath back patio. There is a lot of water built up on top of this awning. Technician initially thought suction line was bare running through the ceiling. Found line set coming out to condenser at ground level. Water may be seaping back into home from suspended awning outside. Resident said she will have her son take the awning down. Sub contractor will reach out today to speak with resident about possibly setting up meeting for an assessment. No other faults found at this time.
