KSPEHC was called out to help get a commercial hosebib working. On arrival the tech attempted to turn the hosebib on. Nothing came out. This suggests that there is a shut off valve for the hose connection that needs to be turned back on. After searching there was no valve to be found. After no luck finding a shut off valve tech attempted to turn hose on again. This time the hose began to allow water to come out but extremely slowly. After a few more attempts the water began to come out more freely but also began coming out of key hole for activation. This fixture will need to be replaced with a new commercial hosebib assembly. Tech provided estimate for the replacement
Toilet is continuously running in the upstairs hall bathroom. I shut off the water to the toilet and drained. Removed the faulty fill valve and flapper. I then installed a new fill valve and flapper, connected the water supply line and turned on the water. I adjusted the water level so that water would not overflow into the flush valve. I flushed the toilet to test and demonstrated the operation with the homeowner. The toilet is now filling properly. Thank you for choosing Keep Smiling Plumbing and Electric!
