Upon arrival, I was greeted by Ms. Meisler. She brought me to her kitchen sink so that I could assess the leak that’s been happening. The nut that connects the strainer to the drainage had broken due to years of corrosion. I generated an estimate to resolve this issue that Ms. Meisler agreed to. Upon completion, I ran multiple gallons of water to test the connections. I also filled the sink up with multiple inches of water before it all at once, providing a strong test for the new connections. No signs of leakage. The garbage disposal for the other half of the sink is bad and does not operate. It’s also blocked up not allowing the water in that portion of the sink to drain properly. Ms. Meisler politely declined having this replaced due to the expense. She plans on only using the other half of the sink. I verified the water pressure at the water heater and in the process discovered the thermal expansion tank to be bad. I provided a price to replace this that Ms. Meisler agreed to. The
Upon arrival, I was greeted by Mr. and Mrs. Anderson. They escorted me to the living room to show me the large ceiling stain while describing to me the ceiling leak issue they recently experienced. After making a brief observation of the ceiling and the upstairs hallway and master bathrooms, I provided an estimate for a diagnosis. They agreed and signed the estimate, allowing me to move forward. I cut open access in the ceilings within both the living room and the neighboring laundry room in order to observe the pipes. I ran many gallons of water across each of the bathtubs, the stand-in shower, the vanities, and toilets. Both bathtubs were completely filled up and subsequently fully drained multiple times. The toilets were flushed many times. The vanities and stand-in shower ran for a long period. I noticed one defect from active usage and drainage. The P-trap to the master bathroom vanity is leaking water from its threaded connections. The only other observation is a gap on the back
