Job Locations and Reviews

Upon arrival, the homeowner brought us to the garage to take a look at a marked leak under the slab, a leaky gate valve, and the 2 female connections at the top of the water heater that were corroded and they wanted replaced. After a short time of negotiations, we settled on $2,500.00 for all the work. After a run to the supply house, we began working on the gate valve, which was simply a tightening of the packing nut that stopped that leak. Then we cut the 2 copper lines on top of the water heater and unthreaded the old females. We applied thread tape and some thread sealant to ensure no future leaks, then threaded on some new females and connected them to the existing pipes using couplings. We then started jackhammering the slab and digging down to the leaking pipe. After confirming where the leak was on the pipe, we cut it out along with a little wiggle room on either side. For the repair, we put copper x PEX adapters and created a PEX swing joint due to the lack of space to work.

We were called out to diagnose a P-trap in the ceiling of a classroom on the 2nd floor which was bubbling. We ran water in the 3rd floor bathroom directly above the leak. Determined there is a soft tissue blockage in the cast iron drain system. Will return Friday for repairs. Thank you for choosing Keep Smiling

Customer called about issues on two toilets, one downstairs powder room, one upstairs guest bathroom. Used leak detection tablets and visual inspection to determine issues. We then checked water pressure on the home, gauge read 110 PSI. Customer agreed to replace PRV, which we did. along with part replacements on both toilets. Replaced fill valve and flapper in downstairs powder room toilet. As well as replaced flapper in upstairs guest bathroom toilet. We then tested each repair and insured proper function. Cleaned all work related debris. Set home water pressure to 60 PSI. Thank you for choosing Keep Smiling.

On arrival inspected system for wet condensate drain line and wet ductwork. After inspection found that the condensate drain line is condensation on exterior as well as a 10x8x8 “Y”. Wrapped ductwork with insulation wrap to seal it from attic temperatures. Installed approximately 15ft of armorflex insulation on condensate drain from air handler across attic. Found no other issues or concerns. Thank you for choosing Keep Smiling. Have a blessed day.

Removed broken lightbulb from hanging light fixture in kitchen

Ali called us out today because he had an attic fan that no longer worked. I went up there to confirm he had power to the thermostat to skip a unnecessary troubleshoot charge. Once I was able to confirm I had a 120v I provided the estimate to which he agreed. I’ve replaced the attic fan with a 1600 CFM. I also have set it to 100degrees as requested. While I was there I did provide him proof that it runs when I set it to 80degrees momentarily. This attic fan can be controlled by a switch just as you enter the attic. Attic is only accessible by ladder. I did recommend that we set it to normal operating temperature at 110degrees. Lower temperature switch means it’ll operate more frequently and shorten then lifespan very slightly. Everything is operating as normal good to go! 2 year warranty on parts and labor. Also provided a 50$ coupon for being a new customer.

Came out to the Rotlein residence to fix some broken splices in the furnace that was already repaired by someone else (not keep smiling.) but was not done right due to the fact as soon as I took the cover off it the wire nut flew back at me and a lot of the strands where missing.will need to be watched and make sure system is running like it should if not hvac will have to come check it out further.

Here at Justice Atlanta they were experiencing an issue with their lighting in the copy room. From the information I gathered I proposed a diagnostic and light switch. The reason being that the light had been out for more than a day and suddenly worked as I got there. That told me I should check the wire to cover the customer. The switch replacement was proposed because if you push on it while in the on position it’ll turn off or arc slightly internally. First I inspected connections and found a junction box above in the ceiling. This junction was not closed and left exposed. When looking further into it I noticed the neutral to be loose. I recorded this. Any opening and closing of the door could cause it to lose connection. This type of issue causes arcing and overheating. I’ve repaired that connection. Once I repaired the switch would work but still arc at time when turning it on. The pressing slightly on the switch would also cause an arc and temporarily turn the light off for

Replaced internal check valve in Navien tankless and performed tankless maintenance
Great service

I was met on site by Ms. Moller. An appointment was scheduled with Keep Smiling due to running water from her tub/shower. She escorted me into her bathroom so that I could assess the situation. A steady stream of water was discharging. I removed the trim plate to assess the style of Delta valve. I informed her that older styles are typically designed in a way that are impossible to replace the cartridges. This valve ended up being the style that I was cautious of. I discussed with Ms. Moller that the only solution for alleviating this would be for me to replace the entire valve. After further discussions, it was revealed that the shower is against the exterior wall. This meant that I was going to have to gain access through the tile itself. Ms. Moller understood the situation and agreed to go over an estimate. After the presentation, she agreed to have me perform the work. She provided her signature, allowing me to move forward. I purchased and supplied a Moen brand valve from the nea

Issue: customer states that system isn’t cooling properly because during the hot afternoons the system doesn’t satisfy set temperature, thermostat doesn’t go below 76 degrees. Town has 1 system. Furnace is gas Amana about 4 years old located in the attic. It has a media air filter 20x25x5 that is really dirty, suggested to replace it but explained customer that we will have to order it because I don’t have it, I have a 20x25x5 but it doesn’t fit, it is too wide, customer said that she will order it and install it herself, advised her to get it in size 20x25x4 so it can fit better, I temporarily put a 20x25x1 and recommended her to replace it to correct size as soon as possible. Current furnace supposed to have a 4” flue pipe, it currently has 1 ft of 4” flue pipe and about 8 ft of 3” flue pipe, explained her that flue pipe has to be 4” double wall but I can quote it because the roof boot has to be replace to a 4” roof boot then we can replace the inside, she said that she will contac
My tech was very knowledgeable and polite.

Technician initially came for tune up. Resident informed me that the system would not turn on. After diagnostic check, technician found blown capacitor. After replacement capacitor, unit began operating. Technician checked pressures which were unusually high. Informed resident that due to system age and refrigerant type, it may be a good time to discuss a system update. Resident has agreed to meet with comfort consultant later this afternoon from 3 to 5. Thank you for choosing Keep Smiling, have a great day!

Upon arrival, customer stated that they had a leak on their toilet. She had the emergency stop closed off and as soon as I turned on the emergency stop, I seen that it was starting to leak from the fill valve and also the supply line I gave the customer to replace both. We agreed on a price and I also added a coupon on the pricing. As soon as I was finished with replacing the fill valve and adding on a new supply line on the toilet, there was no further leaks however, I did have some water coming out from the back of the toilet however it did stop, but I really recommend it to the customer to get the toilet pulled and see what’s going on if it’s just a wax seal or a flange issue as well For now there is no leaks since they are condiments, they don’t have their individual water meter or sub meter. There is a 90 day warranty on the work that I performed today. Thank you for choosing Keep Smiling Plumbing.
Great service. Good guy

I was met on site by Mr. Tarulli. An appointment was scheduled with Keep Smiling due to an issue with the hot water. I was escorted to the master bathroom and provided the story of what Mr. and Mrs. Tarulli have experienced. There are two fixtures in which the hot water would not be properly provided at. The left hand faucet in the master bathroom, and the master shower. Everywhere else in the home would be properly supplied with hot water. The home has a Navian brand tankless water heater. It has not been coding out. Explained that the tankless water heater, activates and supplies, hot water based on the flow rate that is running. I added that the unit does not discriminate between different fixtures. I mentioned that it is possible for the respective cartridges to be the cause of the issue. I added that the safest path forward for figuring this out would be to contact tech-support for a diagnosis. The water pressure was inspected during the process. It is within the appropriate range

Customer has a hump in flooring that may be water damage. It is a concrete slab with glue down linoleum flooring on top. There is a bathroom roughly 6 foot away but no visible signs of leaks or problems. There is a structural beam at location of hump that runs all the way to the ceiling. I used moisture reader and got roughly a 10% higher reading in the area of the hump than the rest of the floor. Indicated there is some sort of water damage present. Recommend customer have national leak detection out to pinpoint where leak is happening and restoration company to come check any damages caused by potential leak. Thank you for choosing keep smiling.

Pull toilets and snake the line to hopefully achieve temporary function Hold the manager and toilet snaked the line, found evidence of whips, snaked drain lines, holding water after clearing, recommended estimates for repair, are still our primary recommendation to resolve this issue, customer is aware that there is no guarantee. This will solve their problem this is merely a bandaid To their issue, there is no warranty on clearing toilets as we cannot control what goes down them. Technicians in Keep Smiling, highly recommend no whips to be flush Technicians tested all toilets to make sure they flush Technician also noticed toilet flange in men’s room is broke again most likely caused due to an uneven floor, technicians and Wedged the floor to stabilize toilet, when repairs are made, this issue can be addressed

Replaced control board to outdoor unit that previous tech found faulty 2 days ago, I also fixed the burned wire. System is currently cooling with a Delta T of 19 degrees at this time. System currently operating at this time. Customer’s dad paid over the phone. Thank you for choosing Keep Smiling Plumbing, Electrical, Heating and Cooling.

Came out to the Erwin residence to install 2 Gfci outlets with bubble covers on the outisde on beside his pond and on the backside of his house, repalced one Gfci free of charge on the front.while the tech was here installed a whole home surge Type 1.(1 year warranty.)

Technician came for no cooling call. Upon arrival, indoor unit was working but outside was not. After pulling panel off, noticed capacitor was very high up in placement. It was basically touching the top of the unit. Checked capacitor and it was still good. Wire to common was burned. Condenser had power coming into the board but was unresponsive. Wire touching top of condenser is probably was shorted the board. Technician recommends replacement board. Thank you for choosing Keep Smiling! Have a blessed day!

Install new .3 horsepower saniflow pump underneath sink in exam room 3. Comes with 6 month warranty.

Install new panel in townhouse with new breakers and label panel

I was met on site by Mr. Kwon. An appointment was scheduled with Keep Smiling due to a mysterious ceiling leak. I was brought into the kitchen to be shown where on the ceiling it’s coming from. Mr. Kwon spoke with me about his own scavenger hunt to figure out what could be happening. We went upstairs above the leak so that I could understand the layout of the home in order to brainstorm a strategy and possibilities. I informed Mr. Kwon about many hypotheticals when it comes to ceiling leaks. He allowed me to inspect the water pressure and thermal expansion tank as well. Both are healthy. I presented a diagnostic price for performing this inspection. Mr. Kwon was hoping that I wouldn’t have to cut open the drywall in order to perform an inspection. He is going to hold off for now in case it was caused by a roof leak from the recent storms the area has experienced. I emailed the diagnostic estimate for if and when Mr. Kwon wants to call us back. It was a pleasure meeting you today! Than

At today’s visit, I relocated the wiremold pole that was previously installed. The cubicles were flipped from what they were originally and I needed to relocate the pole approx 3-4 feet closer towards the front of the building. The installation comes with a 1 year warranty from Keep Smiling Co. Note: The circuit controlling the string of cubicles is circuit #33 in the left panel box in the office,

Upon arrival customer stated that they could not turn of hot water on the 3 handle shower. As soon as I walk it I knew that a gasket has failed and I gave the customer a price to do all three but they opted to just get the hot side replaced. Customer was also interested in a single handle shower. I showed her a couple of pictures of what it would look like in my password that I did converting three handle to a single handle. she wanted an estimate and I wrote her up an estimate to do that work upon completing the work that she signed off for today I turned on water and tested that the hot side turned off completely. There was no dripping or nothing. I did check pressure, but my pressure gauge was not working. It had blown apart and can not test pressure. NO WARRANTY FOR THAT REASON CUSTOMEE IS AWAREThank you for choosing Keep Smiling Plumbing.

I was met on site by Mr. Blankenship. This was a return trip to deal with a previously clogged toilet. I attempted to use my toilet auger on the original trip and appeared to have a successful job. Mr. and Mrs. Blankenship ended up continuing to experience a clog in the toilet. I provided a price for removing the toilet in an attempt to dislodge the item from the toilet siphon. It was agreed on, allowing me to move forward. I removed the toilet and inspected the flange and emergency shut off. Both were perfectly healthy. I laid the toilet down to inspect the discharge and found the obstruction. It was an entire toilet paper roll holder. I quickly dislodged it and reinstalled the toilet. I installed a new wax seal, closet bolts, and supply line. I also applied a ring of caulk around the base for extra stability. The toilet is in proper working order again. It was a pleasure helping you today! Thank you for going Keep Smiling! * 1 Year Craftsmanship Warranty.
Marcus is an outstanding representative for his company! When a service person enters my home because sonething needs fixing, I want them to be positive ("yes I can take care of this") and competent. Marcus was all that. And though my problem was tough -- it required two days -- he maintained that positivity throughout.
Marcus arrived even earlier than expected. He explained everything, let me watch and ask questions. Spoke to me about his career .... he was a very personable young man!
New office in the area, out of state company. Needed a professional service provider and quickly. Thomas Page with Keep Smiling showed up on time and ready to solve our issue. He quickly came of two pronged approach, laid out the timeline and costs. He quickly processed our approvals electronically, then set right to work and solved the issue. Payment and conclusion was seamless; Keep Smiling is now our plumber in Norcross.
Conner was fantastic. Very helpful with suggestions. Took the time to talk to me about what my goals were rather than just looking at one item and giving me a price. Definitely want to work with him.
