Upon arrival customer claimed to be wanting an estimate to replace all three of her toilets, she took me to every toilet so I can inspect the work place. And after showing me them we sat down at her dining table to talk about prices. I first brought up the different prices we have for certain toilets. But she wanted her husband to hear it from me so she went to get him. After her husband sat down we started talking about prices and he said he did not want the high line of toilets he wanted to be comfortable getting down and up. So we went with the 1 option, I gave the customer the book price but if he wanted them done today I could knock off 100 bucks off every toilet. Customer agreed and signed for work to be done today. I purchased 3 glacier bay 19in height toilets. All work done comes with a 1 year parts and labor warranty Out of courtesy I replaced all three supply lines because the old ones were on their last days. Blockage in the sink drain lines, including the dishwasher. Water on the floor was found to be from the dishwasher being too full of water and the water than overflowing the seals. I ran the snake machine down through the Studer vent, I hit three small blockages, and were able to clear them, however, the water in the sink basins still did not fully go down and clear at which time I removed the P-trap to find an unknown substance had resolidified in the P-trap neck along with rice. I was able to remove all and do a full and thorough test of the system, including draining out the dishwasher while running the garbage disposal and sink. Everything is draining properly at this time

The Wilson’s have a old leaking water heater in their basement. Mr. Wilson stated upon arrival that he still didn’t have money to replace water heater, that I came out and quoted to replace inJune of this year, he just wanted for me to show him how to drain water heater to stop leaking. I advised him not to try and drain it unless he’s ready to replace it because it will cause it to leak worse. I offered again to replace water heater today but he declined stating that he didn’t have any money. I told him to Call me next time and I can answer any questions over the phone, so we are not wasting our time. This job should of NEVER been booked! If management and CSRs read my notes from June, they should of known that, we should call him first.

KSPEHC was called out for a leaking water line near the meter connection. When tech arrived homeowner met him outside and explained where the water was coming from. Meter was already turned off when tech arrived due to the amount of water being released into the soil. Tech provided option to make necessary repairs to the water line. Homeowner gave tech approval to make repairs. Tech excavated soil around meter and secondary valve box to create access to the water service line. While excavation was taking place it became easier to identify the broken section of pipe. Brass nipple connection for the dual check had corroded so bad it just snapped. Tech was able to remove dual check along with gate valve assembly. Tech then made clean cut on good section of 3/4” pex line. A new meter nipple and dual check were installed as well as a new ball valve to replace the original gate valve. Upon arrival customer claimed he wanted his water heater to be flushed, office told me to do it at a discounted price, flushed it all the way and let it fill up. Once I turned heater on I let him know he will have hot water in 40 min. I checked pressure after I filled up heater, it was at 100 psi Unfortunately he did not want to go with it today but will think about it if he decides to swap heater out. Upon arrival I removed the cap for the waste and over flow to run camera and inspect p-trap for potential cracks due to customer smelling sewer gases. After inspection of all her p-traps, I went in the attic to cut out the vet stack to see if maybe there was a clog on her vent line. After full plumbing inspection. Upon arrival customer claimed that he needed help taking off a bolt to his kitchen faucet. Once I’ve walked in the door, I saw the new kitchen faucet on their kitchen table, and before giving them a price to take off the bolt, while I was there if they wanted me to give them a price to install their new faucet. After I gave them the price they gave me the go, and I installed their new faucet for that price. This comes with a six month warranty. Unclogged toilets

Upon arrival, customer stated both of her bathrooms were backing up and not flushing. After further inspection, I noticed the clog was on her mainline. Customer was part of the keep smiling club membership. Customer used her one time free annual drain cleaning in order to clear her mainline with an outside clean out. The blockage was caused due to her flushing non-flushable wipes down her toilet. After multiple tries, I was able to clear her. I went inside and flush the toilet multiple times to make sure her line was cleared.

Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowner had downstairs hall bathroom that the exhaust fan ties into the dryer vent going out. Homeowner is wanting to have the dryer. Ran separate. After talking with the homeowner he noticed this about a week ago and when his son runs the shower in the bathroom moisture will collect inside the dryer. After inspecting work, I was able to give the homeowner a proper estimate to get the work done. Homeowner accepted. I disconnected the dryer vent and removed the tea that was on its side and installed flexible corrugated pipe and connected it to the fitting that goes on the outside of the house that take care of the bathroom exhaust fan. As far as the dryer vent, there was a 2 inch drain line that was a deadline that ran out right next to the exhaust fan vent that I widen the hole to make it a 4 inch and installed a dryer vent sitting with a hood on it that went through the outside wall and connected straight onto the dryer vent. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Ms. Rawls. She brought me to her master bathroom to describe the leak within her wall that has recently sprung up. It is in correlation to the rear hose bib on the exterior wall. I opened the isolation shut off for this pipe and heard the active leak. I verified that the water pressure in the home is within the safe range for operation, but I discovered that the thermal expansion tank had failed. I informed Ms. Rawls about the purpose of the expansion tank in the risk when it has failed. She agreed to have me put an estimate together to replace that and to repair the leak inside of the bathroom wall. I wrote the estimate assuming that I would be replacing the entire hose bib along with fixing the leak. Ms. Rawls agreed to the estimate, allowing me to move forward. I cut open the wall and discovered that the leak was coming from a split piece of CPVC pipe. I ended up not having to replace the hose bib and only repaired the leak. I replaced a portion of t

Upon arrival, I was greeted by Mr. Burt. He explained to me his desire for getting his water heater inspected to ensure safety and operation. I explain to him what I would be looking at with the water heater, and I also mentioned that we do complementary home plumbing inspections along with checking the water for hardness and chemicals. Mr. Burt agreed to have me inspect all three. I looked over the water heater and discovered two issues. The water pressure to the property is high, and piece of the aluminum gas vent is separated. Checking the water quality I discovered that the home has soft water while having a moderate amount of chlorine. When performing the whole home inspection, the only discovery was the master bathroom toilet needing to be properly reset due to being loose. Mr. Burt plans to resolve the toilet issue himself, but asked for pricing to fix the pressure and the aluminum gas vent. I presented the estimate along with my plan for both components. I would have to cut sheet rock in order to gain access to the venting, I would have to drill a new 4 inch hole for the new venting, leaving the home, and I would also have to repair the dryer venting. Homeowner stated that later in the afternoon after I left the gfci had tripped again. Upon inspection I discovered a 2nd gfci on the circuit. I was reading continuity between ground and hot while the first gfci was hooked up. I was able to remove the gfci and clear it up. My solution was removing the first gfci and relocating the other gfci so it would feed the circuit. The second gfci was not necessary. I installed an outlet the homeowner provided in place of the gfci that was not needed.
