Completed work off estimate. Rerouted the waterline on the right side of the house. Penetrated a hole in the concrete. After putting the pipe inside the hall, I Hydro cemented the opening on both sides. I went ahead and replaced the old PRV they had and the old gate valve . I put in an I put in a double union PRV with a quarter turn ball valve. To make it easier to shut off the water. After making the last connection, I turned water on to test for any leaks, no leaks were seen. Ran water on the upstairs bathtub until all the air came out. Went back outside to the water meter to check if it was spinning. No spinning was seen. I did advise Miss Latonia. We do not repair any sheet rock. And there will be visible pipe hanging in her basement due to us rerouting it. She agreed and understood it had to happened. At today’s visit, the company RW Thompson is moving into a new unit. They are in need of having electrical outlets added into their warehouse space on a wall where none currently exist. They care looking to have 5 total outlets installed. The work was agreed to and the job has been scheduled for Monday at 9am.

Mrs smith called us out to look at washer/water around washer. After inspection the water she was talking about was the trap inside the wall for the washer. Explained why that was suppose to be here and mrs smith was relived it wasn’t a leak. We also did a small inspection after she stated the toilet was making a screeching noise. We check pressure at the water heater to find out she had 105 psi to home. Recommend to change the prv to bring pressure back down to 65 psi. Gave estimates but wants to see if home warranty will cover the cost.

Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowner had downstairs toilet that I have already been out. Previously to replace the emergency stop due to it leaking and now he’s having the same issue with the toilet and it has flooded the basement again. After talking to the homeowner he explained it everything was all right, but then they woke up this morning and they informed him that the toilet has flooded again. After inspecting work I checked underneath the vanity and everything was dry. The toilet had water around it, and the only place that I could find that had moisture where the toilet seat bolts. I continue to flush the toilet another 50 times and couldn’t find any leaks. I explained to the homeowner that his fill valve is the old ball kind and is outdated and that is one of the only things that I see wrong with the toilet. Upon arrival, customer stated he bought a new dishwasher and wanted it installed. The new dishwasher had to be hardwired into a junction box as well as running a new drain line to the P-trap. Customer did not want us to install it, all he wanted was for us to supply the parts. After giving pricing for the parts, customer did not approve. Yes we’re gonna go already gonna be cut and gonna be poured by somebody else calling me right now. Upon arrival, customer claim that she had a yard leak going on. And brought her water bill up 900 bucks. As soon as I got there, I instantly saw the water on the yard. I would have recommended a spot repair at first, but the big tree in the middle of the yard will not let me due to the roots coming out in the soil. So I recommended the customer to reroute the line on the right side of the house and penetrate a new hole in the concrete wall to her basement. I’ve been took a little to make up an estimate, and what I gathered up is it’s around a 60 foot run. I will have to penetrate a new hole on the concrete wall for the water line to go in. I saw that the prv and main shut off look pretty old and I told her that if she decides to do the work with us, I will check her pressure and if it’s higher than 60 psi I will replace both prv and main shutoff under the same price. Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowner had a couple of things going on. In the hall bathroom the sink would drain slow and the faucet would drip, in the same bathroom the toilet would run and the tub was slow to drain. In the master bathroom the tub stopper would not hold water and the toilet would run. After talking with the homeowner I explained that this sounds like a pressure issue so I would like to check the pressure. I went to the water heater to check the pressure but noticed that the water heater was from 2006 so I did not want to check the pressure there due to the drain possibly leaking. I check the pressure of the back hose bib and pressure was 50 psi. I explained to the homeowner that that is perfect. I was able to give the homeowner multiple options to get everything done and homeowner wanted to get the hall bathroom taken care of for his wife along with the master tub. Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowner had Fossett in master bathroom that would drip every now and then. After talking with the homeowner, she explained that she had an extremely high water bill and is wanting to know if the sink in her master bathroom is the issue because about every couple hours it’ll start dripping and won’t stop. After inspecting Fossett, I explained that we could replace the cartridge and that would take care of it. I explained that I would have to check the pressure because pressure is a leading cause to this issue. I went to the water heater and found that the water heater was from 2008. I explain to the homeowner that that is really old and that she needs to be preparing for a replacement. I checked pressure at the back hose bib and pressure was 60 psi. I gave the homeowner an estimate to replace the lavatory sink in the master bathroom cartridge. Homeowner accepted. I did the work. Tested for leaks and functionality at all as well. Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowner had water heater replaced recently and last night they were smelling gas so they wanted to get it checked out. After inspecting work, I smelled every gas joint to see if I could smell gas and I could not smell no gas. I grab my gas detector and proceeded to test all the joints with that as well and still did not find a gas leak. I explained to the homeowner that he could go to Home Depot and grab a gas detector himself and if he smells it again to test it, find out the area and then call us back, or he can grab a spray bottle, and when he smells it go through and spray all the joints with soapy water and if it bubbles up anywhere and there is a leak and he should call us. Upon arrival, customer stated his sewage pump from his basement was not working and not pumping out the water. He says the water would overflow from the toilet and the shower. After further inspection, I noticed they installed a regular submersible pump. Another issue I saw they installed a vent on the pumps ventilation pipe. Upon arrival customer claimed to have his lavatory faucet cartridge to be replaced. After he showed me the faucet, it was a price pfister cold side faucet failing. I started explaining to the customer that this could happened because of old wear and tear or the pressure to house is to high. He immediately told me that the plumber he originally uses had changed their prv 2 weeks ago but never ended up changing his cartridge because of how busy he has been and that’s why he decided to call us. I told him I was still going to check for my safety , psi was at 55-60. Before giving him pricing I brought up 2 options, one on replacing the whole faucet. Or two, just replacing the cartridge. After showing him price for both he said that he will not do it today and will see if he can wait on his other plumber because he will do it for lower than half our price. The tech was professional, however, the cost to do the job was way too much!!! The only job needed was to reinstall a garbage disposal and faucet; with a discount the cost wad $1K, without a discount $1,300!!! I was only charged $60 to remove both (of course it wasn’t a professional plumber). Shame I couldn’t get the same guy back out to reinstall…out of town for the holidays 😥.

Issac arrived within the scheduled window; he listened to my concerns, looked at pictures, and went right to work to diagnose and fix the problem. While repairing the leak under the sink, he explained and showed me what he was doing and why. After checking and resealing all the connections to the basket strainer he determined it was a washer that needed to be replaced. He was able to perform the repair and test it all within an hour. Issac gave excellent customer service and reassured me that the job was completed correctly. We love this company!
