Professional, Reasonable Price for work, Toilet installation and water gauge replacement

Upon arrival customer stated that he has already pulled up and disposed of the old toilet and that he has bought a new one that is in the dinning room and needs it installed. Upon my inspection I found that the area will work for the toilet and the pressure is good on the home and presented options to get the toilet installed he chose to get the toilet installed and also get the angle stop replaced as well. Today I installed a customer supplied kholer high line arc toilet and replaced the angle stop for the water supply to the toilet. 1 year warranty.

KSPEHC was called out for an upstairs toilet not draining when flushed. On site tech inquired about other drains possibly having issues or if the issue was isolated to just this toilet. Ms Francis assure the issues was isolated to just this toilet. Tech provided option to perform hand auger service in an attempt to clear the blockage within the toilet. Tech expo that if this doesn’t work then removing the toilet to free the blockage is the next step. Approval was given for tech to operate hand auger service. After a few attempts this appeared to clear the blockage. Tech flushed the toilet several times and even had ms Francis flush it as well. No issues at this time.

Came out for no heat call. After inspecting furnace, found blown fuse. After replacement of fuse, unit came on. Waited to observe unit for possible reasons for blowing the fuse in the first place. Did not notice anything out of the usual. Possible power surge that blew it. Also resident believes neither upstairs or downstairs AC works. (Both units are R22)(Goodman condenser is 2006 and Heil condenser is 2000). The thermostat is working. Resident is interested in getting a possible quote. Will inform us of when to schedule.
Good

Replace seats and springs in shower valve. Major water damage so mr Fernandez wants to wait after insurance to possibly replace the valve. Leak is fixed and Hampton is coming out this afternoon.

Estimate to unclog 3 vanity drains and install a basket strainer.

Install and supplied 50 gal electric water heater located in laundry. Water pressure in home is 110psi. Which is too high for home. House plumbing should not exceed 80psi. We advised Mrs. Grant the risk of high pressure. However she declined to have pressure reducing valve replaced. She stated that she couldn’t afford it at the moment.

Customer had a fan in the kitchen that looked like it was starting to sag from the ceiling. My initial thought was that the junction box holding the fan was not fan rated. Upon further inspection, I realized that it was a fan rated box, and the previous installer had used sheet rock screws to mount the fan bracket. These screws most likely destroyed the threads and got to the point were they starting to back out from the box itself. I re-tightened the bracket with the proper screws and make sure that everything was secure.

Homeowner has a slab leak within the foundation below the laundry room. Leak is on the water service line and can be bypassed/rerouted through the kitchen in order to avoid insurance claim and busting up the floors and slab foundation. Keep Smiling will install a new water service main from the water meter to the home. New water main will be bored underneath driveway/sidewalk and trenched up the side of the home. Keep Smiling will need to make one large drywall cut in the back of the breakfast bar in order to get new water service line into the home within a wall. New main will come up into the wall and immediately go through cabinetry towards kitchen sink. Will tie onto the 3/4” cold line underneath kitchen sink. Install will include new PRV and main shut off valve. Keep Smiling is not responsible for drywall repairs 25 year warranty on pipe 5 year warranty on labor

Upon arrival customer claimed to have a clogged toilet in the first level of the house. After inspecting the issue I saw that everytime it’s flushed it drains but very very slow. I recommended the customer to start off with snaking the toilet. If that doesn’t succeed then the next option is pulling the toilet and actually visualizing what is clogging the toilet. Customer agreed with my suggestion and asked how much is it to start. After giving him price he agreed and signed off. After snaking the toilet I pulled back from what seems to be tissue paper. Flushed it 7 times with toilet paper, all were perfect flushes. Thank you for choosing keep smiling plumbing !!!!!!

Technician came for no heating call. Unit was operational when jumped out at furnace. Thermostat wires to unit had continuity. Transformers secondary had correct voltage. After informing resident of situation, she decided to go ahead and replace thermostat. After replacing, tech then tested new equipment. Unit is now operational. Thank you for choosing Keep Smiling!!

Upon arrival customer stated that his wife had taken off the sprayer to the kitchen faucet and when she let go it retracted inside the faucet and they did not know how to get it back out. All that needed to be done was to push the sprayer line from underneath the cabinet back up and pop off the stopper and screw the sprayer back on. Fixed under dispatch fee.

Upon arrival customer stated that she had her floors redone and when the floor guy put her toilet back in the bathroom she noticed that it was very wobbly. Upon my inspection I found that the toilet was tight but the floor had a slight bow in it and the toilet needs to be shimmed accordingly. There were shims under the toilet but they were not in the correct spots and were also made out of wood. I let the customer now that the toilet would need to be pulled back up to remove the wood shims and put rubber shims in and in the correct spots so the toilet can be leveled. I gave the customer a price to do so and she agreed Today I pulled up the downstairs hall bathroom toilet and replaced the wax ring, flange bolts, and put in some rubber shims to level out the toilet and add support to stop the wobbling. 90 day warranty Thank you for choosing keep smiling plumbing, electric, heating and cooling!

We found a 2 year old electric tankless water heater installed on a new build, there was a electrical issue that caused havoc to the electrical system that the electricians mega test found which compromised the water heater. will need to replace with a 80 gallon tank type heater to bring up to code, the quote will include all code upgrades that go along with a tank heater. Mrs. Goodman asked if we would turn up temperature of water heaters from 120 to 130 degrees. Keep smiling is not responsible for scolding injuries.

Install new water heater circuit with new disconnect Replace main breaker due to surge Install whole house surge protector Replace two bad GFCI outlets due to surge Replace bad outlet Furnace had a disconnect that was burnt out so the tech replaced. Power is good (2 year warranty.)

Upon arrival customer has slab leak on the hot side. After talking with the customer we have decided it’s going to be better to do a repipe for the first level to get all the water pipe out of the slab so this doesn’t happen again. To come out on Monday 3-3 to preform work. Financed through good leap.

Upon arrival customer stated that her faucet had broken off from the bottom and had bought a new one to replace it I made sure that everything was in the box and would work properly and I found that it would she also said that she had 2 sinks in the master bathroom that were clogged upon inspection I found that the sink had a blockage of some sort in the wye fitting and or not to far behind I was explaining what the process would be to fix the issue when I heard a drip coming from the other cabinet I noticed that the pop assembly was dripping and rusting. I let the customer know and she wanted a price on fixing that as well. I let the customer know that before I write up my estimates that I would need to take a pressure test to make sure that I can warranty my work and insure that all the safety features of the plumbing system are in working order. I found that the pressure on the home is 110psi which is 40psi greater than the pressure the fixtures inside of the home were designed to w

Also thermal expansion tee is galvanized steel and is against code. The McCray’s have a home warranty and wanted to call them to see it could be covered.
