At today’s visit, Mrs. Seyoum was looking to have a 240 volt circuit for a ev charger installed. She has been using the 120volt charger that comes with the vehicle however she was looking for a higher charge speed. She had the adapter for the charger for a 240volt 40 amp circuit. Therefore, the estimate was built up for a 240volt 40 amp circuit as she did not want a different charger. Mrs. Seyoum agreed to the pricing. Therefore, the circuit has been installed directly beneath the electrical panel in the garage. The breaker inside the panel is a double pole 40 amp CH style breaker. The receptacle is a Nema 14-50r. All parts supplied and installed come with a 1 year warranty. Recommendation: It is recommended to have a whole home surge protector installed as there is no surge protection for the house. With surge protectors, there are multiple different strengths of the surge protectors available. The higher the KVA rating, the stronger the surge protector is. These devices pro

At today’s visit, Mrs. Wallace experienced an issue where they had plugged in a vacuum and lost power to the living room/Den area. None of the breakers tripped during this. Multiple receptacles lost power during this event. It was recommended that troubleshooting occur to open the devices to locate the lost connection causing the power loss. Mrs. Wallace agreed to the discussed work. During the diagnostic it was determined the source of power loss was caused by a backstabbed connection in the receptacle to the right of the kitchen entry from the living room/den area. The hot wire was backstabbed and from time and use had fallen out of its slot. Mrs. Wallace was shown the issue before the repair was made. The damaged section of wiring was cut out. The wiring was then wired to the terminal screws to restore power back to the room. It was to note that every device inspected had the back stab connections. It is recommended that all the devices be replaced to correct this issue and to preve

Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowner had upstairs hall bathroom tub and shower that was leaking into the garage. After talking with the homeowner I found that she said this problem just started that she had her car parked in the garage and came out one day and there was drywall on her car. After inspecting work, I found that it was the three handle tub and shower valve was leaking behind the tub down and into the garage. I informed homeowner that we would have to replace the seats and stems inside of the tub and shower valve and that should take care of the leak. Gave homeowner an estimate to replace three handled tub and shower seats and stems in upstairs hall bathroom. Homeowner accepted. I did the work. Tested for leaks and functionality and all is well. Thank you for choosing keep smiling Plumbing, electric, heating and cooling. All work that was done comes with a one year parts and labor warranty through keep smiling Plumbing.

Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowners had 13 year old Rheem gas water heater that he was wanting replaced. After talking with the homeowner found that he was wanting it replaced because it was 13 years old and didn’t want it to go out on him. After inspecting work and going over everything with the homeowner like how we would replace the expansion tank along with all new copper, piping and gas piping and a new shut off valve I was able to give the homeowner a proper estimate to replace, 40 gallon gas Rheem with a 40 gallon gas Bradford white. Homeowner said he is getting two more estimates and then he will make his decision. Thank you for choosing keep smiling Plumbing in electric, heating and cooling. Per the customer there are not gonna use the bathroom in question at this time The customer has requested that our service go no further Tech took the the time to verify at the meter that the leak in question was not on the water distribution side but in fact on the drainage side Tech found moisture readings of 60% and higher below where the upstairs tub/shower waste and overflow is located Tech found evidence of water damage along main floor ceiling and inside the coat closet Evidence of biological growth is present as well in the sheet rock It is recommended that we get a water damage company out address these concerns and a lumber to address the needed repairs as soon as possible

I arrived to the property and the customer had a leak coming from their washing machine hose bib due to a pressure on the home of 140 psi. The pressure reducing valve was located in a cut out deep into the basement which would require about 30 feet crawling. The customer chose to have the washing machine replaced without the pressure reducing valve voiding any warranties. I supplied and installed a new washing machine bib pressurize system tested for any leaks. There is no warranty due to the 142 PSI on the home.

I arrived to the property and the customer had a garbage dispose that was leaking in three different points. They also had a Roman tub out. They wanted replaced as well as trim with it, their water heater was 15 years old and unmaintained for those 15 years with the thermal expansion tank full of water. The pressure on the home was 96 psi. The venting to the water heater was not done correctly, allowing carbon monoxide to see through the gaps. I went over all options with the customer, including water filtration and he will get back to us at a later time to do more work. There is a one year labor warranty. I arrived customer Had a leak coming from the drain to their water heater, water dumping outside the TMP, as well as missing code requirements on the water heater. They were ideally hoping to have it relocated into the garage, which would not be a possibility in any realistic financial reasoning. Their best bet would be to put a tankless water heater in the crawlspace mount to the wall, closest to the crawlspace door. I gave the customers estimates to supply and install a tankless water heater with recirculation, without recirculation, and to go in with another 40 gallon shorter water heater That would have no warranty due to the gas water heater located in the crawlspace. I tempted several times to reach out to the customer, but she did not answer. The estimates will be good for 30 days

Upon arrival, I was greeted by Mr. Nguyen. He informed me about his recent issue with water being inside of his gas pipes. After a brief assessment of the situation and some discussions, I proposed a diagnostic estimate to start off with that Mr. Nguyen agreed to. The diagnosis consist of opening up the gas union at the gas meter to see if water with spray from there. Water did not spray out of the meter. After some collaboration with my supervisor, we came up with a plan for step two. I spoke with Mr. Nguyen about what this plan would consist of and showed him the estimate. I assured that the estimate for step two would completely waive the diagnostic charge. Mr. Nguyen agreed to the estimate, allowing me to move forward. My supervisor met me at the house with a commercial shop vacuum in order to suck all of the water out of the pipes. After this, we installed a one inch diameter black iron drip leg at the meter, and upsized the drip legs at the water heater and furnace. The water hea

On arrival found system not cooling properly. Checked refrigerant charge and found it was a little high, subcooling should be 7° and we had a reading of 12.3°, recovered less than a pound and achieved factory recommended 7° subcooling. Pressures still weren’t accurate and deltaT was still only 10° split instead of recommended 20° split. Recovered all refrigerant, vacuumed system for 30 minutes, recharge with factory recommended 6.3 lbs of r410a. After starting system found that it has began to cool as it should. Checked deltaT and have a 20° split between return and supply air temperatures. We’re sorry for any inconvenience. Have a great day.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by Mr. Boatfield. He brought me to his kitchen so that he could describe his situation with a new refrigerator being delivered. What he was wanting was a replacement for the old refrigerator line so that the new one could be hooked up. I assessed the home for access and how to run the new line. I generated an estimate accordingly. I explained to Mr. Boatfield what my plan were for replacing the line and presented the estimate. He agreed to it, allowing me to move forward. I drained the entire home along with completely emptying the water heater. This was to not to risk spilling water in the bedroom below the copper pipe that I would be tying into. I cut out the original refrigeration line and shut off and installed the new line with the appropriate fittings. 1/2 inch PEX pipe was used as the new refrigeration line with an icemaker shut off stubbed up from the kitchen floor. After the connections were completed, I pressurized the system and filled the water

Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowner had a bunch of things going on. The upstairs master toilet was consistently running along with the upstairs master vanity bathroom sink has a consistent drip. The kitchen faucet leaks when you turn it on and the hall bathroom toilet on the main level will consistently run. After talking with the homeowner I found that everything is original in the home. After inspecting work, I found that all of the flappers in the toilets were deteriorated causing water to leak through the flapper and caused a fill valve to continuously run, also in the master bathroom toilet, the fill valve was bad. I checked pressure at back hose bib and pressure was 40 psi. I explain to the homeowner that the pressure is low, and that she should start to think about a replacement PRV. Gave homeowner multiple options to get everything done. Homeowner wanted to go with the piece of mine option and get everything done. For today I replaced both upstairs toilet fill valve and flapp
