Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowner had an upstairs full bathroom toilet above the washing machine room that was making a high-pitched, squealing noise. After talking with the homeowner, she explained that the noise is not happening now, but her daughter recorded it on her phone. They showed me the recording, and it was a high-pitched noise coming from the fill valve. I explain to the homeowner that this is a leading symptoms of high pressure. I explained that I would have to check the pressure at the hose bib. I checked the pressure at the hospital and pressure was 50 psi. I explained to the homeowner that that is perfect. I explained that it is likely that the fill valve is going bad and not shutting all the way off causing the water to seep through and squeal. I explained that we could replace the fill valve and then that should take care of it. Give the homeowner an estimate to replace the fill valve at a discounted price. Homeowner accepted. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Josiah Harrison. Josiah is the son and tenant to Danny Harrison. He brought me to the finished basement to show me the ceiling leak that has occurred recently. This leak has already created a significant hole in the ceiling. I spent some time assessing and determined that the leak is from the 1/2 inch polybutylene pipe for the cold water of the kitchen faucet. I discussed with Josiah about the risk of living with polybutylene pipes. I provided pricing for both the spot repair along with a whole home re-pipe. For today, Josiah agreed to have me repair the leak since that was the immediate issue. With the amount of water that has saturated into the subfloor and sheet rock, Josiah gave me his permission to pass his and his father’s information along to Hampton Restoration. Upon arrival customer stated he was hearing a weird noise after the toilets are done filling up and after he shuts off the shower. Upon my inspection i found that the pressure regulator was starting to whine and the pressure on the home was 40 psi. I explained to the customer that this is a pressure issue and that the pressure regulator would need to be replaced. He agreed to the price and scope of work. Upon arrival, customer stated he had two different leaks in his basement. The first leak he had was coming from the water heater that was corroded from the bottom due to lack of maintenance. The other leak he had was coming through his foundation wall from his main waterline that was leaking. Provided customer with multiple estimates to repair both leaks. Customer stated he wanted to do the spot repair leak on Tuesday, December 24. And then come back the following Tuesday to replace the water heater.

The Surani’s have another leak under slab of home. I do not recommend another slab repair since we’ve made two in the past 2 years. I recommend a partial repipe of the downstairs potable water system into walls and ceiling to remedy issues. Mr. Surani agreed to partial repipe to downstairs only. We performed task and now all potable water pipe supply downstairs of home is now in walls and ceiling. Keep smiling is not responsible for drywall, wood, paint, tile, etc damages during repipe.

Main line is backing up again. We have already been out to this location and cleared mainline with sewer machine and pulled out flushable wipes. There is a known issue with underground pump system, so we cannot warranty the flow on the drains. There is a warranty on the flange, but leak is coming from wax seal from sewage back up. Keep smiling will need to cable blockage again and pull and reset both toilets with new wax rings. Will perform camera inspection to determine possible long term solutions once the main is flowing again. Pump system size is not sufficient for current application. One pump appears to have freeze break at the top and another pump is having an electrical failure from the panel. Existing panel cannot be cross referenced with and replacement pumps. Will need to replace entire pump and panel system. System size requires dual 2 HP 230v system.

Arrived on the job and spoke with our client about what work they would need performed. I looked over the location in which we could install the 14-50 outlet for the Charger, then wrote a quote up for our client. I presented it and sent it over to them.

Upon arrival customer claimed there was still a leak coming from the shower valve plate. And it only leaked when he directly sprayed water on it. I re caulked and left a tab open on the bottom for if water seeps through it will just drain to the tub instead of on the ceiling below, I also caulked around the handle and told him to actually properly test it and just take normal showers. Return to supply and install 50 gal. Gas Bradford White water heater with expansion tank and 10 year warranty on tank.

Customer has been struggling with high water bills for 5 months, he checked and repaired everything inside the home over this time but was still having an issue. Upon our arrival we isolated the main water line and found that it had a leak. Customer had polybutylene. We replaced the main water line with 100yr PERT Pipe. This has stopped the leak that caused the high water bills. 5 year labor warranty

On arrival found newly installed mini split on camper trailer in backyard. Visually inspected system. Turned on system to further inspect and found that the indoor unit is coming on and responding to remote controls but the blower motor is not turning. Also found outdoor compressor is running but outdoor condenser fan is not turning on. It is determined that this system has internal failures of some sort. Contacted homeowner and discussed findings. Remove old and install new stems

Dispatch fee for today’s visit. Homeowner will have restoration come out to evaluate water damage and then have us come back out to fix plumbing issue.

Cleared blockage by pulling master toilet and running cable machine. Camera showed probable cause of the blockage being kitchen discharge and wipes. Also had to cable master toilet itself. Updated invoice will be built tomorrow.

At today’s visit, Mr. Gaither is interested in having a circuit installed for an electric car charger. They have recently made the purchase of the electric car and are looking to have the charging capability for it. Mr. Gaither stated he was interested specifically in the cord and plug ev charger that runs off 240volts. An estimate was provided for the circuit run with the end point being the attached garage to the home.

Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowner had all bathroom toilet handle broke off of and she cannot flush without having a stick her head in the tank and pull the chain. After talking with the homeowner, she explained it her daughter was using the toilet and accidentally broke the handle. I asked the homeowner if she liked the toilet, and she explained that she did not like the height of the toilet because it was really low and it was hard to get up and down from it. I explained that we could supply and install a new chair height, Kohler, toilet that will take care of all the problems. I gave the homeowner an estimate to replace the whole bathroom toilet with a Kohler. Homeowner accepted. I did the work. I had to add a half moon onto the flange due to one side of the flange being damaged. I said the toilet and turn on the water and tested for leaks and all is well. At today’s service, Mr. And Mrs. Strickland were expericing an issue with their front porch gfci outlet. The gfci’s reset button had popped out and the receptacle no longer functioned. With this, it was recommended to Repalce the gfci to which Mr. Strickland agreed. With the new gfci outlet in, the outlet is back in working order.

On arrival inspected one 1999 model Heil 80% gas furnace, and a 1999 Heil r-22 air conditioner. Found that heat exchanger is comprised with at least one popped rivet on interior of heat exchanger and a significant size crack on face of heat exchanger in front of burners and pilot light. It is recommended to replace full system. Replaced one 16x25x1 media filter. Discussed options with homeowner and decided he would like an estimate for a 3.5 ton Bryant Legacy Series 80% gas split system. Estimate added. Thank you for choosing Keep Smiling. Upon arrival, customer stated he had a leak coming from his upstairs bathroom and was leaking onto his first floor ceiling. Further inspection I noticed the leak was either coming from the shower drain or the shower plate from the handle that was not caulked. Customer approved and diagnostic in order to cut out the sheet rock to determine exactly where the leak was coming from. after she was cut, I turn the water on from the bathroom upstairs and noticed the leak was coming the plate from the handle. I caulked around the plate in order to stop the leak

The septic guys were able to put their hose on the Inlet of the septic tank and put suction and pull the blockage. There was a significant amount of grease and solids that came when the sewer cleared. We did find a hard backfall towards the house from the septic tank. Due to the shallow nature of the line, exiting the house in the shallow nature of the wind entering the tank I do not feel that we would be able to correct the fall from just the outside of the house. We would have to go through the garage area which is now converted to two bedrooms in order to properly correct the back fall of the pipe. My solution is to come on the outside of the house and set a pump can, and create a forest Maine from the exit of the home into the septic tank

On arrival performed heating maintenance inspections on two 2015 Lennox 80% gas furnaces. Checked all electrical and mechanical components. Checked two 16x25x1 media filters in like new condition, and left two with homeowner to replace at a later date. Checked blower motor and blower wheels, evaporator coil, thermostats, ductwork, inducer motor, pressure switch, gas valve, burner assembly, igniter, flame sensor, heat rise, voltage, amperage, and capacitance.
