Job Locations and Reviews
KSPEHC was called out for 2 water heater tune ups to be performed. On arrival tech was shown to the basement where two 50 gal gas rheem water heaters are located. During inspection tech noticed the units are 18 yrs old. Tech also noticed the installation of the units are no longer within code for multiple reason. At this time tech explained to the homeowner that the flush and service could not be performed on the units due to age. By attempting to service and flush the units could result in internal damage which would cause the heaters to no longer function. Performing these tasks would be a liability and not worth possible water damage should they fail during the process. Homeowner was told that estimates will be provided for replacing both 50 gal units with two new ones as well as options for a 75 gal gas or a tankless water heater install.
Quote waived dispatch fee
Upon arrival, customer stated that her water heater was leaking in the basement. Upon further inspection. I found that it was an 80 gallon water heater that was leaking out of the elements I recommended getting it replaced because of the age of the unit Today I replaced the old leaking 80 gal water heater with a new light commercial 80 gal water heater from Bradford white 5 year warranty parts and labor 5 year manufacturing warranty
At today’s visit, the circuit for the bathroom heater was installed. This is a 120volt 20 amp circuit. The breaker installed is a CH single pole 20 amp breaker. The wiring installed is 12/2 romex. The bathroom ceiling mounted heater is 1250w. It has a built in fan to blow the heat downwards. The fan is manufactured by Broan. A 120v dual timer was also supplied and installed to control this heater. All parts supplied and installed come with a 1 year warranty from Keep Smiling Co.
Replace thermal expansion tank above water heater. Also replaced elements and thermostats inside electric water heater. Recirculation pump I’ve been running nonstop which caused excessive wear and tear on the heater and began tripping internal breaker.
Quoted to install gas line for a cooktop customer declined
Submitted estimates via email to Jason
Both toilets in the home had severely concaved 3” flappers. I have changed the, both out and ensured no escape of water from the tank to the bowl.
Upon arrival customer claimed he had an unknown leak. Because the water meter kept spinning. Customer had 2 water meters. One for his house and one for his irrigation system. I did see and feel in from of meter was very wet and muddy. We first turned the main shut off in the house to isolate the water line in the yard. It was unfortunately still spinning. We started talking about of what we could do. And I started off by a diagnostic fee to start digging in from of meter box and if I found it I would wave the diagnostic and charge him to repair the work. And if I didn’t find it he would still pay the diagnostic fee. He went inside to talk to his wife about it and they agreed on my plan. After digging for a bit I found the leak it was a split open 90 on the irrigation system tied in to the main, I showed him and asked if he wants me to continue the work he agreed and signed on the repair estimate. I repaired the leak , waited 45 min for glue to dry, turned water on to test and no leaks
Arrived on the job and looked over what our client was needing. After looking over the job I found that I could pull the circuit from the meter on the left side of the house. I wrote up a price for our client and sent it to his email after explaining to him what I would be doing.
At today’s visit, Mr. Ramsay is looking to have a heater installed in his bathroom controlled by a turn knob style timer. This work would require a circuit be pulled from the panel box. An estimate was worked up and presented to Mr. Ramsay and has been emailed.
Upon arrival, I was informed that a break kept tripping on the washer, machine circuit. I asked the customer a couple questions and realize that it was not tripping during use. I took a closer look at the panel and realized it was an Eaton, Cutler hammer. The earlier model breakers tend to have these issues and the best way to fix it is to replace it. I replaced the original breaker with a new generation 6 breaker and everything was working as it should.
KSPEHC was callled out for a gas leak. On arrival homeowner took tech to the kitchen where the gas was turned off for the range. Homeowner stated county came out the day before and said the leak was near the flex connection and range regulator. When tech investigated the area he found no leak taking place. Tech sprayed solution onto fittings and no evidence of a leak was shown. At this point there is no gas leak.
The customer said she was very unhappy with the price to install the kitchen faucet even after $50 off coupon, which was better than the 5% off returning customer discount. The customer will not be proceeding forward at this moment.
Replace upstairs bathroom shower cartridge. Water pressure is over 115 PSI. Cannot warranty or guarantee work without PRV being replaced. Homeowner wants to change the PRV himself as he has done it in the past.
Gave a estimate for a generator circuit( not responsible for drywall damage.)
Point of use water heater leaking in kitchen cabinet, pick up and replaced point of use water heater and replaced supply line on hot side.
Upon arrival customer claimed he had a leak on his irrigation system. And did not leak when irrigation valve was off. Whenever he took me to the valve. I turned it on just to see where water was coming from. As soon as I turned it on I felt a thump on the floor where my foot was. I continued telling the customer that I will charge him a diagnostic fee at first for me to find the leak and once I find it, the fee will be waived and he will only pay the repair. He agreed on it and I started digging. After digging. I saw multiple pipes where I dug my hole and once I turned on water I saw that the leak was coming from an elbow because it was cracked. I gave him price for me to repair it. He agreed on price and work was done today. I had to repair it with a swing joint since I did not have no leverage on either side I cut. After making last connection I turned water on to test it and no leaks were seen. 1 year warranty labor. Unless it freezes and busts since irrigation is not under the f
I was able to open the backflow on the outside of the house right before the clean out in order to run the camera through the camera into the home. Upon inspection, I was able to verify that everything passed D to 4 inch wyes was clear. Upon going a little further, I reached the branch that led to the kitchen, where I found a massive buildup of food particulates. I was able to clear them out, using a combination of the camera head and filling the sink up, roughly halfway and creating a mass flow of water down the piping, ensuring that all of the particulates left the home. Unfortunately, half horsepower garbage disposals are not made to fully macerate food in order to go down the drain due to the low flow of water which comes from kitchen faucets. This will create a mass of food particulates in the line, which will cascade into a large ball of particulates, which will then clog a pipe, at which time when they move as one mash down, the pipe will create detrimental effects throughou
Removed the vacuum breakers from the hose bibs outside due to her constantly getting wet when turning the hose bibs off. I did tell her to keep them for if/when she sells the home to put them back on. We discussed her sink situation in the bathrooms, where she had found a bunch of gunk built up in the master sink. I went ahead and removed and cleaned all of the P-trap assemblies as well as the pop-up, ensuring that everything would flow properly. Ms Sasser also went ahead and bought a bottle of endure and I showed her how to use it in intervals throughout the home to ensure that the bacterium continue to keep her piping, cleaned and open especially her garbage disposal.
Upon arriving at site, noted that the bedroom carpet, closet carpet, and bathroom were wet. I reactivated the toilet and gave it a few flushes while going outside to observe through the clean out with no sign of the flush making it to the outside of the home. I then turned the sinks on with a few more flushes and observed a huge soft tissue blockage being expelled from the home. Everything after that point functioned normally.
Measure square footage of basement area to be cooled. It come out to be 2,267 sq ft. Requiring a 4.5 ton system to properly cool. Added photos to service Titan. Thank you for choosing Keep Smiling. Have a great day.
Estimate for bathroom remodel
At today’s visit, Mr. David is planning to have his basement finished out and was looking to get an estimate for adding receptacles, lights, and a bath fan for what will be two bedrooms, a bathroom, a game room, and a living room area. The electrical estimate has been completed and talked over with Mr. David. Once the Plumber and HVAC technicians have built their estimates, they will be combined for a bulk discount which will then be emailed over for the total.
At todays service, Mrs. Joy was looking to have a receptacle installed to power a chair lift to the basement which is soon to be installed. An estimate was provided to install the receptalcle from a nearby power source. Mrs. Joy agreed to the estimate and therefore, a 120volt duplex receptacle was added from scratch on the bottom of the basement steps. This is powered off the existing lighting circuit for the basement.
Thank you so much for this 5-star review. We really appreciate you being a customer and helping to share the word about us. We’re here for you anytime.
