Upon arrival, I was greeted by Mr. Chelko. He escorted me to the upstairs guest bathroom to show me the stand in shower that has been backing up. I ran a small amount of water confirming that the shower is indeed backing up. I let Mr. Chelko know that the strategy for shower backups is to first attempt to clear it with a cable. If anything more were to be required, then it would be discussed accordingly. Mr. Chelko brought me to his water heater so that I can inspect the water pressure on the property. The pressure is within the safe range for operation. I provided the estimate for using my cable for the shower. The estimate was agreed-upon, allowing me to move forward. I ran approximately 20 feet of my drill powered cable. I also spent a little bit of time tracing the approximate path of the drain pipe. The cause of the blockage eventually worked its way out. Master toilet clogged couldn’t determine the cause of the clog but I was able to clear the blockage and get the toilet flushing again.tested with toilet paper several times. Non flushable wipes are in the bathroom for usage. (,customer states that they are aware not to flush them down the toilet). And do not as well.

At today’s service, The bath fans on the first and second level had a new bath fan replacement kit installed consisting of new motors and covers. The bath fan in the basement was replaced outright as it did not have an upgrade kit associated with that style. It is to note that from previous water damage and mold, the drywall around the old fan when removing it crumbled/peeled in small amounts. I had previously informed Mr. Alvin that Keep Smiling does not perform drywall repair. I replaced a single pole light switch for the laundry room fixture as it old one was broken from a backstab connection. I installed a gfci in the basement kitchen receptacle as the old gfci had ceased to work. We diagnosed the doorbell system to ascertain the cause of it no longer working. I determined that the wire connecting the transformer to the chime was broken. Once this connection was reestablished, the doorbell system regained function. At todays visit, I spoke with Mr. Andy in regulars to a project they are looking to have done. The project consists of having a commercial grade exhaust fan system installed to pull out cigarette smell from the business and vent it outside. A quote was provided for Keep Smiling to supply the exhaust fan, perform the wiring for the fan while installing a switch for manual control, and install the ducting. The actual installation for the exhaust fan would need to be performed by a Qualified Roofer as cutting into the roof would be required. I informed Mr. Andy that we as a company do not cut into roofs and they would need to find a roofer for that portion. I have emailed over the estimate for the work along with the receipt for todays trip charge.

Homeowner is having issues with either hot water mixing or flow/pressure issues. Gave homeowner two options to proceed with in attempt to fix issues.

Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowner had water heater in laundry closet that she was wanting to get flushed. After talking with the homeowner she explained that nothing is wrong with it. She’s just wanting to take a preventative maintenance step to try to stay ahead of any issues. She also explained that she stays in New York a lot, so she is not here using the heater. After inspecting the water heater, i found that it was a general electric water heater. There was no manufacture date on the heater so I asked the homeowner how long she has lived in the home and she explained that she has lived in the home for 24 years and she has replaced the heater but she doesn’t know win. I saw that the expansion tank looked newer than the heater and had a date on it from 2009. I asked the homeowner if she has had any work done to the heater since the expansion tank, and she explained that she has not. Telling me that the heater is at least 16 years maybe more. KEPEHC was called out for multiple plumbing issues. Once on site tech was taken to basement bathroom. Shower in this bathroom does not get hot. After some time tech was able to determine thermostatic mixing valve for temp control valve is faulty. Mixing valve either produced all hot or all cold but not a happy medium. Tech also believes the hot and cold inlet lines are backwards on the valve itself. While on site tech was also notified of a kitchen faucet in the pool house that is broken. Tech was able to determine replacement is the only option for this fixture. Homeowner approved tech to replace the pool house kitchen faucet and also made deposit for mixing valve repair for future visit. Once installation of new faucet was completed tech verified all connections were leak free and faucet functions normal. No issues at this time with pool house faucet. Tech submitted special order for mixing valve.

Up stairs vanity needs to be removed but the emergency stops underneath the sink will not shut off the water. We will need to replace 4 emergency stops underneath sink and undo drain lines. Pressure is home is 95 psi. We will need to install a new prv in garage with a new main shit off valve for the house. Reduce pressure to 62 psi for proper working pressure. Comes with 1 year warranty.

Upon arrival customer stated that he had a flood in his basment and called out Hampton restoration to fix him up. After everything was dried out he now needed his basment kitchen sink hooked back up and Hampton called us to come take care of it Today I reconnected the supply lines for the kitchen faucet, extended the drain out because the ptrap could not seal all the way into the pipe and reconnect all drain lines. Tested for leaks by filling up the sink all the way twice and let all of it drain at once no leaks on the work preformed 6 month warranty

Leak in ceiling of upstairs shower,cut ceiling and found hole in pex pipe to rainfall shower head,cut out and replaced section of pipe,tested and no more leak.

$39 Dispatch fee Upon arrival the customer informed me that she believes the leak was coming from somewhere in the kitchen sink cabinet. After testing found the leak to be coming from the kitchen faucet. It is leaking from somewhere inside of the spout and is not repairable. It is leaking down into the den below.

Upon arrival, customer stated she had a leak on one of her sprinkler lines outside on her grass by the water meter. After further inspection, I noticed the issue was coming from one of the solenoids of the sprinkler system. She decided she was going to her sprinkler system in order to come out and take a look at what the issue is. Customer stated she had a running toilet that needed to be fixed. After further inspection, I noticed the issue with the toilet was an old flapper that was faulty and causing leaks. The fill valve was faulty as well. Customer approved estimate to replace the valve as well as the flapper. After both repairs were installed, I made sure both of my repairs were free leaks.

At today’s visit, Mr. Steinberg was having various electrical issues around the house. The primary issue he was expericing was with the garbage disposal not working. In the past, the would jiggle the switch controlling it to get it turn on but that eventually stopped working for them. In the master bathroom, a dimmer switch controlling the ceiling mounted fixture had stopped working. Also, the gfci to the right of the sinks had stopped working causing the rest of the bathroom outlets to cease function. I built an estimate to Repalce the garbage disposal switch, Repalce the dimmer switch for a standard toggle switch, and to replace the broken gfci to which Mr. Steinberg agreed. After each device was replaced, the garbage disposal started working again, the ceiling light in the bathroom is back in working order along with the bathroom receptacles. On arrival performed heating maintenance inspection on one 2010 80% gas furnace / dual fuel system. Replaced one 16x25x1 media filter. Checked all electrical and mechanical components. Checked inducer motor and found that is is failing- slow to start and slowly picks up speed before it can activate pressure switch to start sequence of operation, added estimate for replacement. Checked blower motor and blower wheel, ductwork, pressure switch and pressure switch tubing, igniter, flame sensor, burner assembly, gas valve, heatrise, voltage, amperage, and capacitance.
