Upon arrival customer stated that there is a leak in the wall between the closet and the shower. Upon inspection I found no leak when running the tub spout but when we divert the water to the shower head water begins to leak out of the wall. I let the customer know that to find out exactly what’s leaking will will need to cut the closet wall open at a diagnostic charge and that keep smiling is not responsible for any sheet rock repairs that are needed after the work is performed and he agreed. Upon opening up the wall I turned on the shower valve and diverted the water to the shower head and found that the 90° fitting that allows the tub spout pipe to go through the tile wall had a failed solder joint and needs to be replaced I got a price worked up to take care of the issue and presented it to the customer and he agreed. Today I cut out some sheet rock to reveal the leak on the tub/shower in room 105. Cut out the leaking section of copper pipe and replaced the section with new copp

Diagnostic of commercial water heater in kitchen. Restaurant has a Rheem Triton Commercial Water Heater in their kitchen. The heater is just over a year old. Diagnosed with Rheem Technical Support. Found a stress fracture/crack in the burner assembly casting/body. Failed burner assembly allowed large amounts of excess heat to escape during use and melted several components and led to a gas leak. Shut down heater and ordered all necessary replacement parts from Rheem. Will overnight parts, but Rheem cannot guarantee handling time.

Arrived at homeowners home. The homeowner is changing insurance companies, and the new insurance company wants the homeowner to have all the plumbing in his house. Inspected to make sure it is all in working order and no leaks. I started by explaining that I would charge a diagnostic fee to go through the entire house and make sure there are no leaks and everything is functioning properly. The homeowner accepted. So then we proceeded to walk through the entire house together, checking every fixture, and every P-trap to make sure there were no leaks. All the bathrooms were fine and the kitchen sink was fine. The only thing that caught my attention was the water heater. It was a 75 gallon gas that was put in in 2014 telling me that it is 11 years old. It also does not have a drain pan so if it was to leak , it would leak into the basement. I explain to the homeowner that he is at the end of the lifespan of the heater and needs to start budgeting for a replacement. I left the estimate wit

KSPEHC was called out to assess a dripping shower head. During investigation tech found a number of safety devices that have failed. Pressure regulator thermal expansion tank and t&p relief valve. Due to excessive pressure that was allowed to enter the home two shower valves were affected. One tub/shower in the basement and on standing shower upstairs. The upstairs shower has a valve installed that is uncommon and parts aren’t readily available. Homeowner has ordered the necessary parts. Once the parts come in we can come back to install them. Homeowner approved tech to complete replaced tasks for Prv thermal expansion tank main house shut off tub shower cartridge and t&p. Tech removed shower neck for upstairs shower and installed a test plug to prevent water from leaking out until parts arrive. After all installations were completed tech pressures the system and inspected all connections made for leaks. Pressure is now reading 55 psi. No issues at this time
Victor greeted nicely. Worked very efficiently and was knowledgeable for the work I needed done. Victor told me that He read the water pressure of the house incorrectly before he started the work because after the work completed he read the water pressure high and charge $800 to replace. The valve is about 8-10 years old and seems fairly new. In my opinion he didn’t spend enough time to make adjustments. He tried couple of times Turning to adjust but with my request only. He is very knowledgeable otherwise. He supported us with my budget by talking with his manager to reduce price from 700 to 588. I appreciate him and the company allowing to get work done within by budget. Overall, the cost of labor after providing parts needed replaced, the company has higher price. Price could be reduced to $200-400. 588 seemed still higher for changing one faucet and a cartridge.

At today’s visit, I replaced in total, 22 duplex receptacles in various areas of the house. The areas consisted of the Master Bedroom, Hall bath, Office, Foyer, dining room, guest bedroom, and Family room. These were replaced due to loose tension in the devices, back stabbed connections and some not working at all. Upon completion of the installation, I verified at each device, that it had proper 120v with my multimeter. Lastly, I also performed a diagnostic on the back porch sconce fixture on the same wall as the master bedroom. He has not worked for as long as they have been in the home. During my diagnostic, I established that this light was attached to a three way switch system but lacked the second switch location and therefore the wiring was never completed for this fixture. To repair this, I isolated the Switchleg wiring for the fixture, gave it a hot from the two gang switch box, and wired it back to the light switch to restore function in the light. Once power was restored, th

Found during the demo and diagnostic phase of today’s visit, it was found that the icemaker supply line has been chewed on by Stuart Little, who failed to read the safety labels on chewing on steel and aluminum, Stuart little, everyone’s favorite little mouse, ended up chewing a hole through the supply line, causing a leak on the homeowners two month old floors and causing damage to her recently renovated home, technician will replace the icemaker supply line, technician has also recommended the homeowner get her exterminator out to deal with the Stuart little issue, Technician has also gone over the Moen water, monitor system, with the homeowner and his building an estimate to install one for her
Victor extremely kind and professional and knowledgeable!

Upon arrival, I was greeted by Mrs. Lenardo. We first established clarifications that I am the Plumbing Technician and that the electrical technician is on his way. The only thing plumbing related that she needed to address with me was the low water flow happening in the guest bathroom. I removed the aerator and let the water run like that. It’s capable of full flow. The aerator was most likely clogged up with how old it was. I let Mrs. Leonardo know that I can attempt to find the matching aerator and replace it. She also allowed me to inspect the water pressure in the thermal expansion tank. The water pressure was perfectly healthy, but the thermal expansion tank had failed. I explained the purpose of the tank and the risk when it has failed. She agreed to have me put together pricing for both items. The estimate was agreed to after discussing pricing. I drove to the nearby Home Depot to purchase the aerator and a 4.5 gallon thermal expansion tank. The home has two water heaters. One

At today’s service, Mrs. Teresa previously had a sump pump replaced in their crawl space to which did not have power at that time. In the crawl space, I observed that someone in the past had taken the wiring which was for the pump, and repurposed this for the gas furnace in the crawl space. I recommended that a dedicated 120v circuit be installed to power this unit and built an estimate for this work. Mrs. Teresa agreed to the estimate. Therefore, I installed a dedicated 120v circuit from the panel box in the garage utility closet, through the crawl space to the opposite end of the house where I installed a gfci receptacle due to the location the receptacle is. Once the circuit was powered, I tested the gfci and had proper 120v at the receptacle. I have plugged the sump pump in to this gfci receptacle. For the running of the circuit, I did cut one single hole in the garage utility closet. Before cutting, I did inform Mrs. Teresa that we as a company do not repair drywall. All parts sup

Upon arrival, I was greeted by Mr. Viren. He brought me into his kitchen to show me the faucet that he would like to install as a replacement for the original. I inspected the underside of the sink to see if there’s any other issues going on. The shut offs operate properly. One tubular threaded connection had a minor leak. He then brought me into the upstairs hallway bathroom to show me the running tub. I told him that this most likely just needs a new shower cartridge. He purchased multiple models of the appropriate brand, and he wanted me to confirm which one was necessary. He also showed me a garage spigot that has a galvanized cap on it. It was put on there from when the previous homeowner lived at the house. He asked if I could remove the cap. I agreed to do so at no charge, but informed him about the risk of the spigot leaking. I inspected the water pressure and initially noticed that it was at 40 psi. I put together an estimate for us to discuss. I had to speak with management
James service was excellent

Completely reconfigured kitchen sink drain assembly.

This clearing will allow full flow from the sink. Estimate include all labor. If drain has to be cleared using k400 price will be adjusted to that line item in price book. Tech came for no cooling call. Inside unit was running but outdoor condenser was not. Checked for voltage at contactor. Voltage was present. Checked capacitor and compressor side was not showing any microfarads. After replacement, unit turned back on. Tech went upstairs to verify, and there was a 15 degree temperature difference. Thank you for choosing Keep Smiling! Have a good day!

KSPEHC was called out for a toilet backup in the basement. On site tech was able to determine the issue was due to an ejector pump failure. Tech was also asked about possibly repairing other issues in the home. Homeowner stated the disposal was not functioning properly and an upstairs toilet was constantly draining itself and filling back up. As a precaution tech also inspected outside cleanout access. When tech opened the cleanout he saw a lot of toilet paper just sitting in the pipe. This typically suggests backfall of the line or a blockage causing water to slowly drain down leaving toilet paper to settle. As a courtesy tech ran sewer camera to inspect the issue. The house has settled enough to warp the pipe and cause it to from a belly near the foundation which extends about 8-10 feet past the cleanout. Tech presented options for all repairs that could be performed today and another option for the sewer repair in the yard. Homeowner gave approval for necessary repairs t

At today’s service, Mr. Wagh was looking to have a surface mounted fixture installed into the foyer. He has already supplied the fixture which was purchased from temu. The fixture did contain crystals however Mr. Wagh did not want us to do the crystal installation. Therefore, I provided a quote to assemble and install the fixture to the point of the crystals where we would stop. He agreed to the estimate. Therefore, I installed the customer supplied surface mount fixture. It is to note that this fixture is connected to a remote control and has two sets of lights controlled independently from the remote.

Upon arrival customer stated that he has a pipe that is coming from the water and goes to the backyard and is occasionally spewing water out on to the ground. They also said they had another plumber out here and he took a pressure test of 95psi. I took my pressure test today and found it to be under 50 psi which is under what they are set to at the factory. I explained to the customer that this means the diaphragm inside the regulator has failed and is fluctuating pressure throughout the home. I also noticed that the thermal expansion tank is full of water and would need to be replaced. The pipe that is spewing water on the ground outside is the temperature and pressure valve on the water heater that kicks it self open when too much pressure is on the plumbing system. Customer also explained to me that he knows the water heater is getting older and wanted to know how much it would be to flush it. I explained to the customer that with the age of the heater there could be cracks in the

Main line may have root intrusion or collapsed main, will attempt to clear main with additional sewer equipment and full diagnose sewer issues. By establishing flow today, we will be able to see extent of damage and provide additional quotes. Will reimburse drain clearing towards additional repairs
Armando was very knowledgeable and completely the job quickly and efficiently.

Arrived at homeowners home. I was greeted at the door by Miss Shelby, and she explained that her roommate was trying to sneak out the upstairs tub drain, but was unable to and it ended up backing up completely. I started by making sure that the main line wasn’t backed up so I flush the toilet and ran the vanity and everything drained fine telling me that the blockage was local to the tub. I explained that I could sneak out the drain with the attempt to clear the blockage. I gave Miss Shelby an estimate to sneak out the tub drain in the upstairs hall bathroom. Miss Shelby accepted. I did the work. I was able to clear the blockage, and when I pulled my snake back, there was a clump of hair. I had missed Shelby come and inspect the tub and showed her that the blockage was cleared by running the water and everything drained. Thank you for choosing keep smiling, plumbing, and electric, heating and cooling. There’s a 30 day limited warranty through keep smiling Plumbing

Upon arrival, customer stated that they had a pressure issue due to their AC guy telling them that they had a pressure issue. I checked pressure to the house and read close to 90 psi. I advise the customer that it would be best to replace it and bring it down to a more safer pressure for the house. Customer approved my estimate to replace the PRV. It was a 1 inch watts 25 aub. I went back with the same type of pressure reducing valve. Upon completion of work I double checked my joints. There was no leaks. There’s a one year warranty on the work performed today. Thank you for choosing keep smiling plumbing.

Toilet in office room is having water hammering issues. Sloan valve needs to be rebuilt with new diaphragm and vacuum breaker. Also water heater in basement has leak on T&P line. We will need to replace T&p with new one. Comes with 1 year warranty.

KSPEHC was called out for unknown leak. On arrival homeowner stated his hvac tech spotted the leak this morning. During investigation tech was able to find the source. Supply lines for laundry sink were not on the shut off valves completely. Tech was able to tighten both supply lines by hand before having to use a tool to finish tightening. Once supply lines were properly tightened tech tested and tried to recreate the leak. At this time no more water is escaping and leak had been resolved.
Andrew was awesome. On time, friendly, great work product.
Yet again, Grant and his apprentice, have rolled a Natural 20, doing a fantastic job!
Service was great. PRICE was crazy $510.00 to replace a garbage disposal.
Jered was extremely nice, and professional and did a great job with the plumbing repairs.
A wonderful experience all around!
Very professional and detailed in his approach to the project
Christian Ward did an excellent job when we had water damage. He analyzed the situation from several perspectives and concluded we did not have a broken pipe or leak. The wet carpet was a result of splashing from the dripping shower which soaked the mat and then the carpet. Christian suggested letting fans blow over the carpet for 4-5 days and that dried it out. Thanks Christian
Christian was great! Friendly, got right on the job and gave me his honest feedback when it was decision time. Great with dogs and got the job successfully done as fast as he could!
I got an appointment a few days after I called and David Fuentes, one of the electricians for this company, did a great job installing a new breaker panel. Just a look at the neatness of the wiring to the new box made it obvious he was meticulous and thorough. He explained what he was doing throughout the process.
Andrew came home and fixed a lick in minutes!! What a service! High recommended
