Upon arrival, customer stated that she had a waterline issue. She said that she had a high water bill, isolated the main line and seen that the main line was leaking from the meter to the house gave her a couple options with a full water main service and a repair but leak detection would need to get involved. Customer went ahead with a full Water-main service. I will be back tomorrow morning to get it installed. Upon coming back, I ran my new Water-main installed a new main shut off that was a little bit lower so the customer could reach it. I also abandoned the irrigation as well because there were leaks there as well The customer was the one that decided to do this. There is a six year warranty on the new waterline. Upon arrival, customer stated that front hose bib had a steady leak. Found existing hose bib was no longer shutting off completely due to age. Recommended replacement of hose bib and customer agreed. Shut water off to home, removed old hose bib and cut out section of pipe, installed new hose bib and piping and connected to existing copper pipe. Turned water back on and tested. Upon arrival homeowner stated that they had a leak in their shower and in their kitchen. In the kitchen, she wanted a quote to replace the kitchen faucet and reroute the tubular drain lines. The shower had a leak in the seats and stems of a three handled shower valve. I gave her a two options one for replacing the three handle shower valve with a one handle and another one to replace the seats and stems and provide shower handles. The homeowner decided to have me replaced the seats and stems of the hot and cold side and get brand new handles for the shower. After getting a signature from the homeowner, I began work After work was completed, I tested for leaks to make sure that there wasn’t and to make sure that everything was working properly(it was). Came out to the Bollins residence to add a outlet about 10 feet away for the tv from another existing outlet.We did discuss the potential of 2 ceiling fan replacements as well as a whole home surge protector install.(1 year warranty.)

At the Greenberg’s home the problem is the service wire connections. Specifically their service just before entering the home and before the power companies crimped connections. The wrapping cover is off the wire. Visible corrosion and heat marks. Unfortunately I can’t simply wrapped the wire and fix it this way nor would it help. The power company incorrectly told them that just shutting the power off and fixing the wire would be it. In situations like these it’ll require a permit and then schedule a disconnect/reconnect. While the home is grandfathered once I start repairs the city will and could require specific updates to the home. I have provided two estimates for two possible scenarios. I did not include a panel relocation within the rebuild option because the customer knows of someone that can help pass that hurdle. If in a worse case scenario I would have to relocate this will reflect differently on the invoice. Currently they’re getting in touch with someone they know to a

Came back to do work off estimate. Installed a 22in pan under water heater. Also fixed the venting where it wasn’t directly touching the ceiling. I arrived on the job and spoke with our client about what work they needed performed. Once looking everything over I wrote up a quote to replace an existing outlet with a GFCI outlet, and to replace the 30amp 220 breaker feeding the dryer with a GFCI 30amp 220 breaker. Customer is only looking for quotes today so no work was performed.

I was met on site by Mr. Dudley. An appointment was scheduled to Keep Smiling because of an issue with their master bathroom showerhead. Mr. Dudley recently had a handyman replace the original showerhead with a new one. Mr. and Mrs. Dudley both did not realize the flow restriction that is designed with modern showerheads. Otherwise, everything else with the shower and the home was in good working order. I spoke with Mr. Dudley about removing the flow restrictor from the showerhead and performing the routine flush on their tank water heater. Mr. Dudley agreed to have me do both. He signed the estimate, allowing me to move forward. I removed the restrictor from the showerhead and had Mr. Dudley watch the water run. He is pleased with the adjustment. I spent a little bit of time performing the flush on their tank water heater. Fortunately, it is only around a year old. So there wasn’t much sediment that needed to be flushed out. Upon arrival customer claimed to want an estimate to add a dehumidifier in her crawlspace. After looking at the work area I told her there could be 2 ways in which the dehumidifiers drain can be ran by. One by taking it to the sewer and the other by running it through the back concrete wall and letting it drain on her plants. Upon arrival customer claimed to have some issues around her water heater that her inspector found. And wanted us to take care of it. I saw that the the inspector required a pan underneath her water heater and the venting is touching the drywall and not connected properly to the heater. I gave the customer an estimate to work on venting and install a pan underneath the water heater. If she calls back I will discount 180 off of final price Thank you for choosing us!!!!!!

Technician inspected hvac system for safety. Unit will not need drain pan because the return air is being pulled up from beneath the floor boards. Unit will need a secondary safety switch installed next to gas line because it is a 90% furnace and it will cause condensation in both heating and cooling. KSPEHC was called out to perform water heater flush. During same visit homeowner also wanted tech to look at a couple fixture drains that seem to be struggling. On site tech was shown to an upstairs hall bathroom. The left side vanity sink was having issues draining. At first it was able to take the water well and then it would begin to struggle. Tub drain in the same bathroom was a concern for the homeowner. Tech filled tub with water and let it drain. It was a bit slow but ultimately it drained fine. The size of the drain in the tub is slightly smaller than normal. This reduction of size will restrict how much water is able to make it into the drain this causing slightly slower drain speed. Homeowner also was interested in having her water heater flushed as well. Tech provided pricing for drain cleaning and tank type wh flush. Approval was given for both tasks to be performed. Technician performed tune up for both upstairs and downstairs units. Both units have at least a 15 degree temperature difference. Both units blower motors are pulling normal amperage. Both blower wheel housing are clean. Drain lines are clear of debris. All capacitors are showing normal range. Both condensers are showing normal pressures. No faults detected at this time. Technician also performed condenser cleanings for both units. Only used chemicals for Goodman condenser. Lennox manufacturer recommended water cleaning only. Thank you for choosing Keep Smiling! Keep Smiling completely replaced both water service and sewer service mains from the county water meter and curb all the way to the home. Installed two clean outs, one 4” at the house and another 4” clean out by the road. Keep Smiling had to install a 4” clean out at the curb since there was not 6” piping present (Approved by Inspector while on site). New 3/4” Full port uponor water service was installed with new ball valve, check valve, and meter nipple at the meter. New valve box installed after water meter. Water Service 25 year warranty on Uponor Pipe through manufacturer 5 year warranty on parts and labor Sewer Service 5 year warranty on PVC through manufacturer 5 year warranty on parts and labor

Upon inspecting wax seal was compromised and has been leaking in the floor and ceiling for quite sometime. We will need to reset toilet back after Hampton comes out to make there assessments/ or after they are done with remediation.

Upon arrival I was greeted with Alex, Alex called keep smiling because he had broken a shut off valve before the water meter inside the house. The meter was located inside the house upstairs in the closet with the water heater. To shut off the water, I informed Alex that we would need to turn off water to the whole subdivision or do a live repair outside. After some time, trying to locate the shut off valve in the yard, we found a shut off valve in the front yard after some time looking for is shut off valve. I saw that the shut off valve was also broken and would also need replacement. After I found this out, I told Alex and then I told the homeowner is the company that Alex was working for to not want to spend more money on a vowel that they didn’t touch. But due to the circumstances of Alex, breaking the shut off valve upstairs, which led to finding the broken shut off valve in the yard. Alex’s company paid the other 1450.00 to replace the shut off valve outside due to the customer

I installed Tankless water heater last week. There was a tiny drip on cold side isolation valve. I tightened it up to remedy issue. No charge under warranty.
Robert arrived as expected, introduced himself to my wife and I with a smile, quickly assessed the problem with the circuit for our hot water heater and recommended options for making the needed repairs. Once we chose which option to pursue, he procured the necessary supplies right away, performed the repairs in a workman-like manner and showed concern for both our property and time. Came out to the Long residence to convert a 240 water heater circuit to 120 by changing the breaker from a 2 pole 30 to a single pole 20 .Also while talking with the Longs they mentioned that the power company was discontinuing there surge protection so I mentioned that we could install one and they decided to move forward with it.(1 year warranty.)
