Arrived at customers home to give quote on electrical issues after inspection told customer we would have to do diagnostic test and find out issues some of her electrical issues stim from possibly having wires from roof top that are in pipe.she said she only wanted to pay dispatch fee to see what it would cost to get electrical checked

Upon arrival, customer stated that he thought he had low pressure I checked I just hose bib and then I also checked with the water heater pressure at the house. We’re sitting at a good level. I did see and tested expansion tank and expansion tank was full of water, indicating that it was failing. I also informed the customer about maintenance to the water heater. It’s a 2018 A.O. Smith gas water heater. I gave him a price to flush the water heater and also change out the expansion tank. I added a $50 off coupon. Arrived homeowners home. Homeowner had upstairs master tub and shower and that the tub spout was constantly dripping and would not shut off. After talking with the homeowner, she explained that she has lived there for nine years and has had the cartridge replaced one time with a Danco cartridge from Home Depot. I explain to the homeowner that I would like to check the pressure because pressure is often a leading cause to the faucets constantly running. I check the pressure of the water heater it was 70 psi. I noticed that the water heater was new heavy. Homeowner explained that her water heater ended up rupturing this weekend and cost a flood and she had to have it replaced. I was able to give the homeowner a proper price in order to find the cartridge and replace it. The homeowner did not want to go with our estimate today and said she will call back if she wants to move forward with the work. On arrival to no cooling call found one 2.0 ton r22 condenser not turning on. After further inspection found dual run capacitor has failed and thermostat wire from home to condenser is old and brittle causing condenser to turn on/off intermittently. Discussed findings and options with homeowner. He has decided to go with repairs. Replaced dual run capacitor and ran new thermostat wire to condenser. Checked deltaT and have a 15° split between return air and supply air temperatures. Informed homeowner this is likely due to age and possibly low on r22 refrigerant which is no longer available. Mr.Hill would has a breaker that tripped over night. He’s not one hundred percent certain which one it is but while I was there it was running. At panel I was able to get a good look at all connections and breakers. I found that two breakers don’t belong in the panel. Top left a two pole breaker and one Gfci GE breaker that’s not installed properly. The two pole Square D breaker is the breaker for the upstairs portion. In the panel all neutrals are bundled with their pairing ground wire. I’ve explained how this causes neutrals to get loose over time and should be addressed. The part that’s most urgent is the panel bus bar at the top left corner. It’s clear to see there’s discoloration starting along with a slight burnt corner. To pin point the exact cause is difficult because of the other items I’ve already mentioned can be contributing factors. While replacing this panel power to the home will be off for roughly four to five hours. Job duration is expected to be around 7 hours. W

Replace all cast iron plumbing in both bathrooms with pvc. Includes 2 toilets, 1 shower drain and reconnecting all drain into main 4in case iron on the ground. Also made sure to tie back into main 4in vent. Comes with 5 year warranty. Not responsible for the rest of the existing cast iron pipe

Arrived at home owners home. Homeowner had upstairs master toilet that was leaking from the tank to bowl gasket when you would flush it. They explained that they just got back from a vacation to Japan and found that the toilet was leaking. They have already bought a new toilet, and just want to know whether or not to replace the toilet or just to repair it. After finding out what kind of toilet the initial toilet was I found that it was a builder grade toilet that has been there since 99. I explained to the homeowner that I could repair it if they wanted to, but it would be smarter just to replace the toilet with the new American Standard cadet. I gave the homeowner two options, one to rebuild the toilet and another to replace it with the customer supplied toilet. The homeowner wanted to just replace the toilet and not have to worry about it for a while. I remove the existing builder grade toilet, and installed the new American Standard cadet. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Mr. and Mrs. Hardnett. They scheduled a visit with Keep Smiling so that we could discuss a possible installation of a customer supplied kitchen faucet. They’ve already gathered multiple quotes. The new faucet is already purchased and ready to be installed. I took a short period of time to examine the underside of the sink to grasp the difficulty of the installation. I also turned off the emergency shut offs to see if they still work. As of this visit, they are able to turn the water off to the faucet. These emergency shut offs were turned back on before I left. Mr. and Mrs. Harden showed me the location of the water heater so that I can inspect the water pressure. They have a 50 gallon Bradford White natural gas water heater that is a little more than a year old. The water pressure is within the appropriate range. I needed an electrician to hardwire a 47” tall towel warmer. I was able to make an appointment for consultation with possible installation same day. Daniel, the electrician, was phenomenal. After a thorough consult, we decided together for him to return to start the project in 3 days. When he returned he was prompt and efficient with his time. I like this company is family owned. Returned to install the towel warmer for Mrs.Stover. This towel warmer is tied into the master bedroom circuit number 25. Once installed I tested it and it is functioning properly. Power consumption is going to average around 3 amps and it’s also GFCI protected. I’ve left the Allen key and instructions of the dimmer with the towel warmer instructions.

Provided an estimate and collected a deposit. Towel will be installed in the master bedroom. Appointment to be to schedule for 04/14/25 Monday at 8am. Total left 1,134.07.

Arrived at customers home for installation of customer supplied generator battery

Upon arrival, I was Met with the customers daughter the customer was not present, but I was leading by her daughter. I check the water heater and the gas control valve on the Bradford white water heater was not lighting up. I could see rust at the bottom of the water heater in with the age of the water heater. It would just be best to replace it instead of putting money into an old water heater that could rupture. I also check the pressure the pressure at the house Was 85. The daughter of the customer got a hold of her mom. I talk to her and explain to her but she just wanted her control valve replaced. I told her that we would most likely have to call Bradford Way and get one ordered and that could take a couple of days I try to explain to her that a new water heater would be a better choice. Upon arrival customer claimed to want to add a washing machine box to his laundry room. Since he was remodeling in there he had everything old and needed it to get up graded. Customer had everything ready except the wall where the washing machine box is going to be at. Customer said they were going to knock that wall down and try to reinforce it. I told him that I will want him to do that first and I will come in after to do the plumbing. Before they lay the Sheetrock. Since he was looking for estimates I told him I will be sending him the estimate to his email and to let us know when he is ready for us to come by. I arrived and performed an a/c tune up. Changed 16/25/1 filter. You is in pretty good shape. Unit is 21 years old and uses out dated r 22 Freon. Would look at replacement soon.

I arrived on the job and spoke with Mr. Jennings about replacing the light fixture on the front of his house. I presented the price to him, but we did not come to an agreement. Dispatch fee was collected.

Customer needed a 3 prong cord installed on the dryer. I had to install a 3 prong outlet as well. The circuit was a 30a 3 wire with no outlet.

Arrived on site today to install a new water service from the city water meter to the inside of the crawlspace. After getting authorization from the customer I began digging at the meter to find the existing water pipe in the ground to cut it loose. I then took apart the house side of the meter and rebuilt it with a new meter nipple. I then went into the crawlspace to disconnect the water line coming through the foundation and took out the existing water shut off valve. I then pushed new pipe through the whole in the foundation stubbing out into the yard, dug a trench from the meter to the house and attached on to the pipe I stubbed out. Customer has electric bill for a couple months now. She mentioned she’s been having furnace issues throughout the winter. I visually inspected the outside to see issue with the main service. I visually inspected the panel as well, that she had an electric furnace. I advised the customer that we would need to perform a diagnostic in order to determine what is drawing excessive power.

Customer had a fan making a slight noise. Families look a little large for the room size and was really close to the ceiling. With the blaze being so close to the slope ceiling, it might be causing the fan to rock itself back-and-forth. I would recommend replacing the fan with one that has smaller blades to accommodate the slope ceiling.
