Upon arrival customer stated that the water heater would not relight when I tried to relight I heard the control valve clicking and she said that she got it to light but would go out in seconds. I explained to the customer that the gas control and burner assembly will need to be replaced but I wouldn’t be able to warranty the work because of the age of the heater or we can replace the heater. I presented options to the customer and they said they will think it all over during the weekend and get back to me. Thank you for calling Keepsmiling plumbing, electric, heating and cooling!

I arrived on the job and spoke with Mr. Hardy about his smoke detector chirping. He showed me to the detector he believed to be chirping and explained that he’s already replaced the battery, so I wrote up a quote to have it replaced. He liked the price so I got to work replacing it. After the instillation the chirp persisted so I informed Mr. Hardy that one of his vivit smoke detectors had a fault. He was still more than happy to pay for the detector that I replaced and will be contacting vivit to address the other detectors. 2 Year Warranty.

Ms.Prad has informed me of the issue going on in the home. The problem is specifically in the master bedroom. She’s explained to me that the flickering isn’t ongoing throughout the day. It’s happened once once or twice. When the standing ac unit in the room turns on it will cause the lights to dim and return. I explained that the power draw for this circuit by this standalone unit is too much. At times these can malfunction and cause excessive power draw. This will accelerate the wear on the outlets. I don’t recommend using this too often. The power draw is 11.4amps but once the motor kicks in that’s when the power flickers on this circuit. Currently she is waiting for the hvac company that she works with to return and repair the ac condenser. The only way to avoid this is to run a dedicated circuit the standing ac unit. The other issue that I did notice was the breaker wired incorrectly at the panel. Previously the white neutral wire was send power out and returned on the black wi
Christian is kind, patient, courteous, and treats the house like it is his own. He is excellent at his job.

Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowner was wanting his annual plumbing inspection done, he also wanted me to look at the left master vanity sink due to it draining slow. After talking with the homeowner, I started by checking the pressure at the back water hose and the pressure was 50 psi. Then I went and checked the two water heaters to see the age and the condition of them and I found that they were both Rheem marathon, fiberglass heaters they were in near new condition. One of the heaters was located in the crawlspace so while I was in the crawlspace, I checked for any leaks or wet spots and did not see any. While I was under there, I also took a look at the filtration system to make sure that it was still working properly and all is well. From there I went and checked the faucets and shut off valves underneath to make sure they are working properly as well and all is well. From there, I was able to give the homeowner an estimate to remove the P-trap for the master vanity and snake o
Came in I explained the situation and he did the job fixed everything excellent work

Diagnosis on 1 year old water heater with relight and replacement of Pressure reducing valve located in kitchen pantry.

Upon arrival homeowner stated that there was a leak in their kitchen. After investigating the whole home and checking the meter I found that there was no active water leak in the home. There were signs of leaks in the past with water stains on the wall and flaking of paint, but none of the drywall that I checked was wet and none of the flooring that I checked was wet either. While investigating I found that the water heater has a rust stain running down the back of their 2021 Reem water heater indicating that there was a leak of some kind that dripped down the back of the water heater. I also found that their pressure was sitting at 45 to 50 psi which indicates that the pressure reducing valve is starting to go bad. Along with the pressure issue I found the thermal expansion tank on the water heater has failed. After discovering all that I went to talk with the homeowner about the problems occurring in their home and gave them a couple estimates for fixing them. The estimates I gave a

Came out to the Cloninger residence to rewire a 3 way switch set up that had been removed as well as re hang a fan that had missing screws that they said they would put back on once they found them.(no warranty.)

Returned to Mr.Atlow’s home and completed the work previously quoted. Installed the chargepoint car charger(hardwired). Breaker for this can be located at the bottom right of the panel on a 60amp breaker. Currently the charger is flashing white indicating that it I not connected to the Wi-Fi. During the setup Mr.Atlow will be asked about the breaker size for the car charger and it’s important that 60 amp is entered. Once the Wi-Fi is setup all other capabilities will be enabled. In order to make space I have added tandem breakers. Circuits have been moved one space up. Total of four. Surge protector is below the panel in a flush mount kit. Allowing the homeowner to visually confirm the surge protector is operational. Two lights on the surge protector indicate it’s functioning correctly. This is sharing the breaker of the dryer. No drywall damage was needed. All items working correctly and if there are any questions please don’t hesitate to call. Two year warranty parts and labor

Issue: main floor system isn’t cooling due to a faulty blower motor. House has 2 systems. Airhandler is Trane about 22 years old located in the attic and it does main floor. It has a really dirty air filter 20x20x1. Found blower wheel dirty, suggested to pull out and clean it. Found blower motor run capacitor weak reading 8.3 out of 10 mfd, suggested to replace it. Found evaporator coil rusty. Heatpump/condenser is 3.5 tons Trane about 22 years old located backside of the house with R22 refrigerant. Main reason for the system not cooling is due to a faulty blower motor, explained customer that its capacitor is weak but not too weak for not to turn ON motor, I can replace its capacitor but most likely the motor is bad, suggested to replace blower motor but explained customer that even after motor is replace that there is a chance that compressor might be faulty or that is low on refrigerant, if this is the case then there won’t be anything we will be able to do because R22 compressor

Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowner had upstairs master bathroom that was leaking into the kitchen and has caused a hole in the kitchen ceiling. After looking at the hole in the kitchen ceiling, I had the homeowner go upstairs and flush the toilet so I could confirm that it was indeed leaking and after the homeowner did it started leaking. I explained to the homeowner that I would have to charge a diagnostic fee in order to cut a hole in the kitchen ceiling and see what is going on. The homeowner accepted. I cut a hole in the kitchen ceiling and found, the toilet drain pipes. I had the homeowner go flush the toilet again and found that it is leaking from either the 90 glue joint or the flange glue joint. I am unable to determine which one due to it being pressed up against a stud. But from there I was able to determine that the flange needed to be replaced. I explained to the homeowner that we would have to cut out a little bit more drywall in order to get past the 45 that is connect
Daniel represents this company extremely well! Excellent customer service.

Mr.Atlow wanted an estimate for an ev charger. I provided different options with different price points. In order to complete the job tandem breakers will be needed. Hes currently working on getting the car charger. As soon as it comes he will call it in and schedule. The other item that’ll be installed is a whole Home surge protector with flush mount kit. A deposit has been placed.

Upon arrival customer stated that the hose bib out side is not shutting off. Upon inspection I saw that the hose has a constant flow of water coming out of the hose bib and the bell housing has been painted and siliconed meaning it can not be repaired and needs to be replaced. I presented the customer with a price to fix the issue and told her that some Sheetrock in the living room will need to be cut out to do the replacement and that we do not patch Sheetrock. Customer stated that she is going to try and find someone that will do both because she doesn’t want to have to go through 2 companies. Thank you for calling Keepsmiling, plumbing, electric, heating and cooling!

Issue: system isn’t cooling because outdoor unit wasn’t operating due that it tripped its breaker because compressor burnout. House has 1 system. Airhandler is Ruud about 25 years old located in the attic. I couldn’t find the air filter cabinet. Found blower motor bearings wearing out and blower wheel dirty. Heatpump/condenser 2.5 tons Ruud about 25 years old located left side of the house with R22 refrigerant. Main reason for system no cooling is because outdoor unit wasn’t operating due that it tripped its breaker because compressor burnout, it does look like it also leak all refrigerant because there isn’t any refrigerant, explained customer that there isn’t anything we can do because R22 compressor are discontinued and R22 refrigerant is phased out, he said that it makes sense because he heard a loud noise like something popped right before system stop cooling. System is beyond life expectancy, I highly recommended to upgrade system due to age, amount of repairs, conditions, ineff

Performed cooling maintenance on 2 systems. House has 2 systems. First system, furnace is gas Carrier about 21 years old located in the attic and it does main floor. Dispatch fee for today’s visit. Restaurant is having drainage issues again throughout entire kitchen. Several drains are either completely clogged or partially clogged (only overflow with large volume of water). Running a single cable would not solve their issues.

At today’s visit, removed the old meter and mast as it has previously been ripped from the wall and caused damage to the roof and eve. With this, I installed a new 200A meter box with a disconnect combination box. I also installed a new mast in a spot where there was not damage from the old mast being ripped down. In this conduit of the mast, I installed a 200A SER feeder cable to provide power for the meter. Inside the disconnect, the old SEU cable was too short to land directly to the lugs and therefore I installed two Polaris lugs to splice the 200A cabling so that it could reach the main lugs. Additionally, I installed two ground rods outside at the meter location. The first rod is directly beneath the meter while the second rod is 6’ 2” to the right of the first rod. These are interconnected by a continuous piece of #6 bare ground and ran back into the disconnect and bonded internally. The parts that were supplied and installed today carry a 1 year warranty. Note: Should the in
