Homeowner has two spigots that are not working. Keep Smiling will diagnose issues and attempt to restore water to the spigots. We were able to locate shutoff valves for all hose bibs. Two of the hose bibs now are live and have water going to them. On the contrary, one of the hose bibs was abandoned and left in the home when it was repiped.

At today’s visit, I spoke with Mr. Mccullagh in regards to the project he’s looking to have performed. He has multiple bedrooms he’s wanting fans replaced in as well as switches added along with new bathfans for each of the bathrooms. Additionally, he would like all of the exterior lights to operate together and multiple lights added in the kitchen and garage. I provided an estimate for this work and have emailed it over.

Upon arrival customer claimed he wanted his fill valve replaced. He tried replacing himself but couldn’t get it to work. That’s when he decided to call us to give him a quote. He was also telling me he wanted cushion seats on 2 of his toilets. I made the estimate in front of the customer, when talking about pricing he mentioned he wanted to get one of the toilets we talked about replaced with one a little higher for his preference. I then mentioned if he decides to go with the toilet install today, I can help him out with the toilet seats and fill valve and a much lower cost. So what I did is charged him full price on the toilet and half on the fill valve and only material for the seats. After showing him he price he agreed and signed off. Arrived on site today to install a 50 gal gas customer supplied water heater and install a new pressure regulator. We got the water heater swapped out and cut open a whole in the paneling to get to where the water pipe comes into the home. We then went outside to the meter to cut the water off and found that the key valve has been corroded shut and will not turn. Meter shifted when we were trying to get the water shut off which caused a small leak in the meter box. I explained to the customer the issue and let him know that he will need to call the city to come out and fix the meter key valve before any further work can be preformed. Customer stated that he will give us a call when the meter is fixed to install the pressure regulator. Today I installed the customer supplied 50 gal gas water heater. 1 year labor warranty and parts supplied by keep smiling. Run sewer machine down main line in front yard clean out to clear stoppage. Stoppage is cleared everything is flowing properly.

Installing two new 20Amp circuits to each of the bedrooms to support plug in space heaters. Diagnosing the short within the bathroom circuits. Installing two security flood lights on existing boxes. Replacing the outlet by the upstairs back door with a switch to gain access to the light on the wall behind it.

At todays visit, Mr. Bugg was having an issue with her bathroom receptalce’s not working in the past weeks. She explained that she has been trying to get a plug in mirror to light up and it has not. While examining the outlets, I did plug the mirror and and reached behind it and turned on the on/off switch and it did illuminate. I informed Mrs. Bugg of this and she said that they had tried that as well and it still hadn’t worked. With this in mind, I proposed some troubleshooting work into the bathroom receptacle circuit to look for loose connections that would cause power to be lost and restore on its own without input from an outside source. Mrs. Bugg agreed to this estimate. During the work, I identified 4 bathroom receptacles on the circuit. Of those 4, two of the outlets had failed backstab connections where the wires was popped out of the device. I showed this to Mrs. Bugg and she agreed to have the two devices replaced. Arrived at customers house to add gfci on back side of house it was customer supplied so no warranty except on labor

Home is under contract and seller had a few issues that needed repaired per inspection. Seller stated that after installing a new gas water heater, there was no hot water being supplied kitchen fixture. 3/4 copper pipe was cut and exposed with 1/2 copper pipe with service stops just hanging under kitchen sink. I was doing a visual inspection, water was turned on at meter, no signs of water coming from 3/4 copper pipe on hot side. While inspecting, seller noticed valve was off at water heater and he turned valve on. Water started coming from cut copper pipe so I placed my palm over it to prevent any leaks. Stated to seller to shut water off. Then heard water coming from half bath next to kitchen and water started flooding bath and kitchen, the service stops were left open by seller. He quickly closed them but water was still on. Sellers worker had left the meter valve on thinking it was off. At today’s service, I replaced the sub panel in the garage with one that had more circuit capacity. I then installed two ground rods outside of the garage and tied this back into the grounding bus of the sub panel. I installed an Eaton Ch Ultra surge protector at this location. I replaced all the breakers and labeled this sub panel as well. Inside the home, in the main panel, I installed a surge protector and double pole 50A breaker for this panel. Also in this panel I replaced a two pole thirty amp breaker controlling the dryer as it appeared to have had a large short at one point which affected the bus system. I did bring the damage to the bus to the attention of Mrs. Teresa and provided an estimate for replacing the panel. Lastly, I installed two ground rods outside of the house to bring the grounding of the home up to today’s standard.

Upon arrival customer stated that he has a water heater leaking in the basement. Upon my inspection I found that the water heater is leaking because the internal tank has a crack in it from rust and is constantly leaking water on to the concrete floor of the basement I also found that there is no thermal expansion tank and the pressure on the home is 120-130psi. Client called us out to home to provide an estimate for a customer supplied water heater. Spoke with customer while inspecting existing water heater. Current water heater is a 40 gallon gas heater. I went over options with the customer as well as preformed a pressure test on the home. Found that the home has close to 100 psi indicating that the water pressure regulator has failed. Water heater is not on site and customer declined our heater. Customer will be speaking with the spouse tonight and will reach out to us. Checked three systems. Number one is upstairs. Number two is main floor. Number three is maser suite. Found number 3 running and low on r22. Also heat holes in heat exchanger making in very unsafe. Recommend replacement of complete 2 ton system is 90% dual fuel horizontal in crawlspace. Unit 3 Found unit operational but has a high subcool and low superheat. Which indicates dirty indoor coil. Also has number outs holes in heat exchanger. Ac and coil are 6 years old. Furnace is original 1998. Recommended at least doing coil cleaning on indoor coil. Unit in attic does not have drain pan under the 90% furnace which is code. Nor does it have access boards in front of unit to service safely. Need to bring boards t put down to work. This system is not duel fuel. It is just heat and cool. Does not have heat pump outside.also flue pipe is disconnected in attic Unit2 found outdoor unit not operating and outdoor disconnect if off position also found duel fuel board outside disconne

Arrived at customers home with issue of breaker or shed keeps tripping after inspection found bad 50 amp gfci bad breaker replaced with 50 amp home line regular 50 breaker no issues

Technician performed tune up for 2 systems. Both filters were replaced (16x25x1). Both blower motors are pulling normal amperage. Both blower’s wheel housing are clean. Both units are draining properly. Upstairs unit has a 20 degree difference. Downstairs only has 14. Explained to resident that it is a little low on refrigerant. Resident is ok with systems performance for now. I will attach estimate for refrigerant with this invoice for future reference. Both outdoor units capacitors are in good standing. Upon arrival customer stated that the water heater is leaking. Upon my inspection I found that the water heater had an internal leak dripping down and filling up the pan. Upon arrival, was greeted by the manager on duty. He pointed out the direction of the men’s bathroom with the backed up urinal. I confirmed that it is not properly draining. I provided a price for attempting to break relieve the blockage. The manager on duty agreed to the estimate, allowing me to move forward. I sucked out as much of the calcified water as I could with my shop vac and proceeded to pour a gallon of CLR into the urinal. I let the CLR sit for a short bit before running a small cable. After a bit of time, I began flushing the water to test it. The urinal is now able to completely drain. I explained to the manager why this happens with urinals and provided my observation as to why this happened with their store. The urinal flush valve is defective and hardly produces any water for the flush. There’s also a minor leak coming from the handle of the flush valve when you use it. This leak does not happen when it’s left alone. I provided the price for replacing the entire flush

Arrived at home owners home. Call owner heard the day that he was wanting installed in his master bathroom. He already has a new Perdiem just wanted to know what it would cost to install it. After taking a look at the toilet, I was able to give the homeowner an adequate estimate to install a customer supplied bidet. The homeowner accepted. I did the work. When work was completed I turned back on the water to test for any leaks and functionality and all is well. The homeowner also explained that he has another bidet that he is wanting installed, but just does not want to install today. He explained that he will call back when he wants to do the work. Upon arrival customer stated that they had tried to reseal the continuous waste and ptrap after installing a new basket strainer but now they can not get it to stop leaking. Upon inspection I found that there was leaks on 3 of the joints under the kitchen sink and I expla To the customer that it would be best to just replace the whole continuous waste so we aren’t reusing used up o rings and gave him a price to do so and he agreed. Homeowner stated she needed a quote to relocate hot and cold copper pipes so that a dishwasher could fit flush. Currently pipes stick out so dishwasher can’t be pushed all the way to back of wall. Upon arrival, customer stated that they had a back up in the restroom the toilet would not flush and Would back up onto the floor. And also the bathtub was clogged. It will not drain properly. I told the customer that we would need to pull the toilet and run a sewer machine. They approved my estimate to run a sewer machine and install a customer supplied toliet.
