KSPEHC was called out for hot water kit working in mop sink. On arrival tech was taken to employee break room. Statement was made that mop sink hot water does not work. When tech turned on hot side of faucet water came out and became hot quickly. Tech mentioned that the hot water handle needs to be turned all the way on in order to receive good flow. This faucet is designed a little differently than a standard faucet. Once tech showed management proper function of the faucet she was able to see hot water flowing every time. At this time there are no need for repairs as the system is functioning properly.
Upon arrival customer claimed to have a clogged toilet. I tried flushing it and the water would not go down. Which indicated me that the clogg was in the toilet itself. I recommended the customer that the best option will be augering the toilet and I explained the presses to him if it doesn’t clear by auger what should be next. He agreed on estimate and work was done today. I was able to clear he toilet while customer was watching. Flushed it 7 times in front of customer. Customer then asked if I could send him an estimate to replace his faucet because he has a leak on the spout itself. Thank you for choosing keep smiling plumbing !!!
KSPEHC returned to perform work from previous estimate. During preparation of work to be performed tech was able to make necessary adjustments to the system and faucet. Vacuum breaker created an air lock on the system when water was previously turned off. After removing the stem and vacuum breaker assembly water began to flow. Tech reinstalled stem and vacuum breaker assembly for mop faucet and hot side worked once again. During preparation of water heater repair tech noticed an improper setting in the thermostat. Tech tested thermostat with multimeter and determined everything is working normal. Master kill switch for electric water heater was also turned off. This means the recirculating pump was only recirculating the same cold water. Once tech was able to turn master switch in and make necessary adjustments to the thermostat the water heater once again was able to produce hot water. At this time mop faucet and water heater are in working order.
looked the job over and discovered the water heater needs to be rebuilt and a T & S faucet replaced
