Upon arrival, I was greeted by Mr. Affleck. This is a return trip in order to replace the upper/lower thermostats, along with the upper/lower elements for his water heater. The parts were supplied through the manufacturing warranty. I provided Mr. Affleck the same price as the previous attempt. He agreed to the pricing. Before moving forward, he wanted to ask about pricing for replacing both of his shower cartridges. Once determining what the cartridges are, I provided additional pricing to replace those. Mr. Affleck agreed to the overall pricing, allowing me to move forward. I turned the water off to the home and unplugged the power to the water heater before draining it. I fully replaced both thermostats and both elements to the water heater and successfully replaced both shower cartridges. I filled the water heater back up and pressurized the system. Once I confirmed that all the air was out of the pipes, I powered the water heater back on. The cartridges were not defective out of

Arrived at homeowners home. I was to work off estimate to replace the PRV expansion tank and dig up the water line at the foundation and replace the pipe coming through due to leak. I started by digging up the foundation and locating the pipe going into the home. I found that it was CPVC that was going through the foundation and has cracked due to pressure of the house settling onto it. I cut the pipe off on both ends and removed it and had to chisel out a bit of concrete in order to get the pipe out. When pipe was out Ivan push the new piece of pex through the hole and connected it on both ends. Once both ends were connected I added Hydro cement mix to seal the holes on both ends. I then replace the PRV and expansion tank and turned on Water to check for any leaks. All was well. So I backfilled the hole end checked pressure at back hose bib and pressure was 50 psi. Thank you for choosing keep smiling Plumbing electric, heating and cooling. All work that was done comes with a one year
I arrived on the job and spoke with our client about what issues they have been having. I quickly found the issue to be a tripped GFCI in the basement. I informed them how reset the GFCIs and that they may cause smoke problems in the future. I wrote up a price to replace both GFCIs and sent the quote over to them. They decided to keep the current ones installed.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by Mr. Affleck. This was a return trip after previously performing a standard water heater flush on his tank type water heater. Mr. Affleck expressed that he wasn’t getting any hot water. I informed him that the usual culprit in this circumstance is the upper and lower elements somehow failing when filling the water heater back up to operate it. I provided a discounted estimate for replacing the elements that Mr. Affleck agreed to. I unplugged the power and drained the water heater entirely. Both elements were completely replaced. I attempted as a courtesy to replace the upper and lower thermostats, but the style that Keep Smiling carries would not fit this design. I told Mr. Affleck that if he still does not have hot water, then we will need to call AO Smith tech-support in order to get parts to match the serial number. He understands and will call us back if needed. * 6 Month Warranty on elements.

Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowner had a leak in the basement. After talked with the homeowner she explained that they just got back from vacation and noticed that there was water in the basement closet where the main water line comes in. After inspecting work, I started by turning off the main shut off for the home and went and checked the meter to see if it was still spinning, and it was telling me that the leak was between the main shut off and the water meter. I explain to the homeowner that I would have to check the pressure. I went to the water heater to check the pressure but noticed the water heater was from 2006 and I did not want to check the pressure there due to the chance of the drain leaking. I explain to the homeowner that she was indeed on borrowed time with the age of the water heater and that she needs to start thinking about a replacement. I checked the pressure at the back water hose and pressure was 100 psi. I explain to the homeowner that is really high and tha
