I arrived to the property and re-piped the water, piping the home from the entrance of water next to the water heater, all the way to every fixture in the home. I upgraded all code requirements to the water heater, I had to fish a pipe through the existing loop to get to the kitchen island sent due to their not being access from the attic above, I stress tested the piping at 100 psi and there were no issues. I then pressurized all of the waterlines in the home, tested for any leaks. I then showed the customer how to train their water heater and recommended to them to have it done annually. There is a one-year parts and labor warranty on all of the work and a 10 year labor warranty on the Uponor piping.
I arrived to the property in the customer had a hot waterline burst under his slab. I isolated it to inside the home on the hot water. I used a moisture meter on the customers floor in the master bathroom and it was reading very high amounts of water. I recommended to the customer to have this leak taken care of as soon as possible due to the hot water sitting under the floor, which could risk black mold growth. I gave the customer an estimate to re-pipe his home, and also gave him the option to call out a leak detection company to locate the leak and then I could come back and give an estimate to do the slab leak if that’s the direction, the customer wants to go. The estimate will be good for 30 days was sent financing application through email.
We are incredibly grateful that you took the time out to leave us a 5-Star review.
t todays visit, Mr. Jackson is looking to have a generator hookup installed due to the recent and upcoming weather. He is looking to have the back up option for electricity in the house in the event the utility power is lost. Through the evaluation, it was determined the best option would be to have the hookup installed at the meter/disconnect base. An estimate was worked up for this and emailed to Mr. Jackson.
Upon arrival, I inspected the affected areas. I found that the condensate line from the furnace was down into the washer drain. I shorten the line.
