At today’s visit, Mrs. Pool was not present so we spoke with her daughter in law. They are looking to have power installed for a gazebo. This will consist of, four surface mount light fixtures a ceiling fan and two outlets for an outside kitchen bar.

KSPEHC was called out for a higher than usual water bill. On arrival homeowner stated her mortgage company sent a plumber out as well and was unsuccessful in determining the source of the leak. After tech investigated the issue he came to the same result. A hissing noise was audible while in a closet that sat behind the water heater closet. The prv is located in the same closet as the water heater. When Tech turned off main house shut off valve the noise stopped. After a few minutes passed tech turned valve back on and water began to flow and fill the line. This suggests a possible slab leak. Tech informed homeowner that specialized leak detection services are needed from a third party company. Once source of leak has been detected then Keep Smiling Plumbing can provide and accurate proposal for necessary repairs. At this time tech is unable to perform any work

Customer stated that there was a pair of glasses stuck inside of the toilet’s p trap. We pulled up the toilet and pushed out the glasses from bottom side of toilet to clear blockage at no charge. No warranty.

Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowner had hall bathroom toilet that her husband dropped his glasses down toilet and accidentally flushed them, now the toilet is backing up. After talking with the homeowner I found that this has happened once before, but their daughter was able to pull the toilet and retrieve the pair of glasses and set the toilet back. After inspecting toilet I let the homeowner know that if the glasses went through the toilet and down the drain, I would not be able to get them back but if there lodged in the toilet, I might be able to get them back. I gave homeowner an estimate to pull and reset hall bathroom toilet with a senior discount. Homeowner did not want to go with our services today and said she will get her handyman to do it. Upon arrival, customer stated she had a Mont kitchen faucet customer supplied they wanted to be installed. It was a motion censored kitchen faucet. She also said she had a leak underneath her sink that was coming from a cracked P-trap. Customer did not approve estimate.

Upon arrival, customer stated she wanted her plumbing checked and her home. She said one of her toilets was flushing slow. After further inspection, I noticed that one of the toilets had a lot of debris inside tank. That was due to all of the calcium buildup from the water. All of her other toilets were flushing and working properly.

Replaced customer supplied kitchen sink faucet and replaced both outside hose bibbs

Homeowner currently has a 3” main line that is leaking down into the garage and crawlspace. As soon as the drains are being used upstairs, water starts to leak down into the area below. Keep Smiling will need to access pipe in the wall by cutting out the drywall. Keep Smiling is not responsible for drywall repair. Was able to find a hole and secondary trim nail in the side of the 3” PVC stack between the crawlspace and the garage access hole that was cut. Was able to cut out compromised section of pipe and install new section. 1 year parts and labor warranty on repair

The Franco family have a 14 year old leaking water heater. The house pressure is good at 62 psi. Damage has been caused in the mechanical room as well as the adjacent bedroom. Tidal wave has been referred. I also emailed the estimate to Mrs. Franco should they have any issues and require our services.

Customer is experiencing leak above corner of garage only when showering. Leak is directly below large master bathroom shower. Explained to customer it could be a variety of things so we will need to cut a hole in drywall to try and determine the cause. Keep Smiling is NOT responsible for drywall/paint repair. After diagnostic and drywall cuts, we found a cracked brass fitting on the shower valve had begun to leak. Keep smiling will need to cut drywall out around shower valve to access the compromised piping and fitting. Once we remove and replace fitting/pipe, we will purge, pressurize, and test. Was able to completely repair on shower riser pipe. Tested and good to go. Customer happy.

Install new fill valve and flapper in upstairs master bathroom. No warranty due to pressure being 110 psi

Mr. Carothers brought me to his master bathroom to describe to me what he believed to be a pressure leak within the crawlspace. I turn on the water at the meter so that I could hear from my self what he had explained. The assumption seemed valid leading me to inspect below within the crawlspace. I found the leak. it was a broken tee connection for the polybutylene pipe below. Presented an estimate that Mr. Carothers agreed to. After completing the repair and pressurizing the system, a separate yet smaller leak was discovered. Who was on the connection for the polybutylene to the rear hose bib. I propose an estimate to replace this hose bib. Mr. Carothers agreed to my additional estimate. Once both jobs were completed, I pressurize the system once again. The needle at the meter was no longer moving after performing both jobs. I purposefully extended the hose bib a few inches away from the wall In order for Mr. Carothers to patch up the siding.
