At today’s visit, I installed a duplex receptacle in the new kitchen counter as they just recently had the stone of the island replaced. The new duplex comes with a 1 year warranty. Additionally at today’s service, I installed a customer supplied Ring video doorbell. This doorbell operates in a voltage range of 8-24 VDC. I measure the wiring at 8.72V. I also assisted Mr. Hernandez in getting the ring Camera connected to the ring app.

Upon arrival, customer stated that he wanted his Fossett and his disposal. Reconnected because he had a new countertop installed and had them taken off. It was a really in and out installation. I gave them a price to reinstall both of them. Customer approved my estimate upon completing installation of faucet and disposal. I turned on water and left water, running for quite some time there is no leaks. There is a six month warranty on the faucet and garbage disposal that I installed. Upon arrival, customer stated that he wanted to do a toilet tuneup. He also showed me a couple more toilets just to look at one toilet had a very loose chain and I just quickly adjusted the chain to the proper length. He showed me a toilet that he had a flapper that he wanted to just get replaced. I replace that as well. I did not see any other issues with the toilet. I did check pressure to the house pressure to the house were sitting around 80 psi I informed us to the customer and explain to him what kind of pipe when into the house and kind of pipe was ran inside the house. He told me he would wait on the PRV. He was really worried of the age because it was over 10 years old and did have a sign of high pressure. I informed him about the possibilities of high pressure. He had just got his water heater replaced back in 2023 water heater. The estimate for a new pressure reducing valve is good for 30 days. Thank you for choosing keep smiling plumbing.

I was meant on site by Mrs. Pinya. An appointment with Keep Smiling was scheduled due to her desire for us to run a sewer machine down the clean out in the yard. She expressed desire about having a toilet unclogged, however her husband was on his way to purchase a plunger. He got back and successfully unclogged the toilet. She agreed to the $99 clean out special, allowing me to move forward. I ran my cable as far as it could go. The distance it ran was beyond the city clean out. Her main sewer line is good to go. She has a break towards the top of the clean out. I assured her that there is nothing to be afraid of with this. We also spent time at the water heater. Mrs. Pinya was curious about a possible leak that I discovered was the thermal expansion valve. This is a normal function. There also exists a thermal expansion tank. At todays service, I met Mr. Art at the home and he informed me that they wished to have a surface mount fixture installed in the hallway and that they had also already purchased the light and had it on hand. I provided the estimate for the installation to which they agreed. They also had a 50$ off coupon which was applied to the total of the installation. I removed the existing dome surface mount fixture and installed the new surface mount fixture. Upon completion, I tested the fixture and it is in working order. The installation comes with a 1 year warranty.

At today’s service, Mrs. Fowler recently purchased a Volvo Hybrid vehicle and was interested in having a level 2 car charger installed so that she could fully charge overnight. She had already purchased a Charge Point Hardwired Charger. With this in mind, I provided two options for the car charger circuit as well as an option for a recommendation of adding whole home surge protection to the main electrical panel. Mrs. Fowler elected to have the 50A circuit installed along with the Whole home surge protector. Therefore, I installed a 50A 240v breaker into the main panel box. I ran wiring from this box to where the charger mounted into the garage using a 6/3 Romex rated at 50A. I then hardwired the connections inside the customer supplied charge point charger. Following this work, I installed a HomeLine 50kva whole home surge protector inside the main electrical panel. This surge protector is connected to the bus system by a 2pole 30A breaker. Arrived on site today because the customer had called the manufacture of the drinking fountain and confirmed that the temperature controller that was sent to them was the correct one. Today I replaced the temp controller in the drinking fountain with the bottle filler. 1 year labor warranty No warranty on customer supplied parts.

Today we got called out to provide quote to install a customer supplied vbidet. Upon arrival, homeowner had already installed one bidet but needed supply line connected. Presented quote replacing two toilet supply lines with braided lines and installing one bidet and customer agreed. Replaced two plastic supply lines with braided lines and connected to bidets. Hall bath lavatory's drain was not draining properly and backing up. Stated to landlord that we would attempt to restore flow by running drain snake into drain, he agreed. Removed ptrap assembly, ran cable and pulled hair, gunk, and found a plastic cap in drain. Today we came out to run hot and cold water lines to sink in copper piping. Ran about 35ft of hot pipe and 28ft of cold to location of sink that was already installed. Isolation valves and emergency stops for each hot and cold lines were installed, supply lines, and pipes were secured. Drain was tied into existing 3in pvc pipe stubbed out on floor and stupor vent was also installed. After all work was completed, tested and no leaks were detected. 1 year warranty on work done today. At today’s visit, Mr. Bruce is converting from a gas range in apartment 3 to an electric range and as such he was in need of the wiring to be ran from scratch. I provided an estimate for installed a 240v 50A circuit to which he agreed. I installed a Siemens 240v 50A breaker into the panel on the left side. I then ran the circuit in 6/3 NM cable from the panel box, through the basement, into apartment #3. I had initially intended to recess an outlet box into the wall, however, the wall was drywall on plaster on sheet rock on fiber board on 1x6’s. With this thick of a wall, a cut in outlet box as well as a nail on box could not be installed. I therefore installed a surface mount Nema 14-50r four prong receptalce near the base of the wall behind the existing gas range. With the power on, voltage was tested at the outlet and it is in proper working order. Additionally, as a courtesy, I replaced a stack switch (SP/SP) in the apartment number 3’s bathroom. I arrived on the job and spoke with Mr. Rudd about what work he needed performed. After looking at the GFCI in question I wrote up a quote to diagnose it. I quickly found that the GFCI was wired incorrectly. I got the wires installed correctly and the GFCI worked as intended. Mr. Rudd was very pleased so payment was collected.

Upon arrival customer stated that they had a leak somewhere up in their kitchen ceiling. I seen that they had it the sheet rock cut already from a past plumber that came out the day before to check out and assess the situation as well. Further inspection I saw that there was no leaks from the waterline. I checked the meter as well for any indication of flow meter was still and not moving. I then tested toilets and showers and did not get any sort of leak. I then called the customer her stepdaughter was the one that answered the door. I don’t talk to her about the copper being a little bit old. She had explain to me all she had passed leaks and had them repaired I gave her an option to do a re-pipe she wanted to get a estimate I discussed with the repairs and the type of warranty that we include. Technician came for no cooling call. Upon arrival ,indoor blower was operating but outdoor unit was not. After inspection, technician found blown capacitor. After replacement, technician reset board at breaker box inside. Unit began operating. Checked refrigerant pressures and they are in normal range. Thank you for choosing Keep Smiling! On arrival inspected two systems for no cool. One 1999 Trane r22 3.0 ton on 2nd floor and one 2007 3.0 ton Trane r22. Managed to start up 2nd floor system briefly unfortunately compressor has failed and was making a lot of extremely loud noise. Found system without refrigerant and failed compressor causing breaker to trip. Found first floor system had voltage but would not start. Checked for high and low voltage and traced from breaker panel to contactors, to compressor and from thermostat wires to control board to contactors, and contactors were pulling in but compressor has failed to start. Tested resistance at compressor across run, start, and common. It is determined the compressor has completely seized up. Change out all switches and outlets with new ones White devices 1 year warranty

On arrival inspected three 2018 Trane 6.0 ton R410a heatpump for no cooling. Found first system is working and cooling, however it is being overworked and compensating for other two systems that are not working. Found second system control board on outdoor condenser had an error codes/faults. Hard reset control board and system came back online. Checked refrigerant pressures, subcooling, and superheat. System is cooling as it should. On third system found main breaker was tripped and technician reset. Once reset found the 250 volt 45 amp Bussman fuse was blown, replaced fuse in order to continue diagnostic. Found that the compressor has failed internally, burnt windings inside compressor causing the breaker tripping and fuse to blow, also was backfeeding power to transformer causing that to short out as well. Tested compressor by checking resistance across run, common, and start and determined the internal short in windings. Called Trane directly to check parts and availability. Parts

Upon arrival, I was greeted by Mr. Spinolo. The purpose of the appointment was to flush his existing tankless water heater. He escorted me into the crawlspace to show me where it is located. I informed Mr. Spinolo about the basic process of performing the flush. He has not experienced any plumbing issues throughout the home. I provided the price for performing the flush. Mr. Spinolo agreed to the estimate, allowing me to move forward. I allowed the flush optimal time to happen before purging the system. The water heater appears to operate properly without any signs of error codes. I adjusted the temperature down from 140°F to 120°F with Mr. Spinolo’s approval.
