At today’s visit, Mr. Clayton is interested in having string lights installed for his back patio and sitting area in preparation for his son’s first birthday party. Mr. Clayton would be supplying the string lights. He currently has 96 feet of string lights however given the spacing of the posts Mr. Clayton would need an additonal box of 48’ to account for being able to plug the lights in as well as for the lights to intersect through the sitting areas. Two estimates were given for various means of powering the lights by means of switch control as well ask a dusk to dawn sensor. Mr. Clayton said he would reach out no later than Monday to give him time to source the extra set of lights as well as talk the options over with his wife.
Apply spray foam insulation on new pipes installed in attic space over garage and close in hole, where installers cut to access garage area.
Mr Fordham showed us a hole that was cut out in the spray foam insulation in the attic. He would like it filled in and pipe in behind the stairs insulated. I cleaned up the insulation that was left from the hole in the attic. Some of the old pipes coming from the slab were sticking up out of the bottom of the vanities in the master bathroom and the old pipe for the toilet.. I was able to cut them down. He also said it was taking too long for hot water to get to the other side of the house. I turned up the speed of the recirculating pump. Now he it’s getting hot water quicker.
Cut at the main line to run pipe up through the attic. Locate the walls in the attic, drill down and cut in to wall behind fixtures to gain access to attach pipe to fixtures and valves. There are 15 fixtures total. For the kitchen we would have to make a small trench going from the fridge to the island sink. We would cut the floor, jackhammer the concrete, and install a hot and cold line to the sink and dishwasher. Back fill trench with dirt and put concrete. 1 year warranty.
Mr Fordham has a hot line leaking under slab in the laundry room. I gave Mr Fordham 2 estimates. One for repipe t the whole house and one for repairing the leak under the slab.
