Keep Smiling completely replaced both water service and sewer service mains from the county water meter and curb all the way to the home. Installed two clean outs, one 4” at the house and another 4” clean out by the road. Keep Smiling had to install a 4” clean out at the curb since there was not 6” piping present (Approved by Inspector while on site). New 3/4” Full port uponor water service was installed with new ball valve, check valve, and meter nipple at the meter. New valve box installed after water meter. Water Service 25 year warranty on Uponor Pipe through manufacturer 5 year warranty on parts and labor Sewer Service 5 year warranty on PVC through manufacturer 5 year warranty on parts and labor

Upon inspecting wax seal was compromised and has been leaking in the floor and ceiling for quite sometime. We will need to reset toilet back after Hampton comes out to make there assessments/ or after they are done with remediation.

Installed homeowner provided toilet in basement (American standard)

Upon arrival I was greeted with Alex, Alex called keep smiling because he had broken a shut off valve before the water meter inside the house. The meter was located inside the house upstairs in the closet with the water heater. To shut off the water, I informed Alex that we would need to turn off water to the whole subdivision or do a live repair outside. After some time, trying to locate the shut off valve in the yard, we found a shut off valve in the front yard after some time looking for is shut off valve. I saw that the shut off valve was also broken and would also need replacement. After I found this out, I told Alex and then I told the homeowner is the company that Alex was working for to not want to spend more money on a vowel that they didn’t touch. But due to the circumstances of Alex, breaking the shut off valve upstairs, which led to finding the broken shut off valve in the yard. Alex’s company paid the other 1450.00 to replace the shut off valve outside due to the customer

Replaced 40 gal gas water heater with Rinnai RX199 tankless water heater located in basement

Replacing an existing dimmer with an LED compatible dimmer. Diagnosing two hallway fixtures and preparing the third for future instillation. 1 Year Warranty

I installed Tankless water heater last week. There was a tiny drip on cold side isolation valve. I tightened it up to remedy issue. No charge under warranty.
Robert arrived as expected, introduced himself to my wife and I with a smile, quickly assessed the problem with the circuit for our hot water heater and recommended options for making the needed repairs. Once we chose which option to pursue, he procured the necessary supplies right away, performed the repairs in a workman-like manner and showed concern for both our property and time. Came out to the Long residence to convert a 240 water heater circuit to 120 by changing the breaker from a 2 pole 30 to a single pole 20 .Also while talking with the Longs they mentioned that the power company was discontinuing there surge protection so I mentioned that we could install one and they decided to move forward with it.(1 year warranty.)

Replaced 20 gal electric with a 10 gal electric, located in basement

Homeowner is getting estimate for future renovation. Wants to have work done during the first half of 2025, but will let us know when he is ready to begin work. Would like to pay cash/check if it saves some costs, discussed a possible 1-2% discount for check payment. This home will be a rental in the future so they’re just wanting to get the home in order prior to that.
James arrived right on schedule, took the time to carefully listen to our concerns and then considerately offered us options to correct our two separate issues. He was courteous, attentive and very considerate of our time and property. Once we had agreed to a course of action, he moved quickly to completing our repairs in a careful and professional manner. Replaced Rinnai tankless water heater located in garage and installed customer supplied pop up assembly in powder room

Upon Arrival we found all kitchen waterline emergency stops need to be replaced due to leaking and not cutting off all the way. We will replace 3 regular emergency stops and 1 emergency ice maker stop on copper. There is also 2 inch cast iron that is leaking in the kitchen going into main stack. We Will replace around 4 feet of cast iron pipe with pvc and replace cross in the wall with 3by2 clean out on main stack. Test for leaks and proper flow. Comes with 1 year warranty.

Upon arrival cast iron drain line is leaking behind kitchen sink cabinets. There is major water damage due to leak. Having Hampton come out to access damage. Can not get to pipe unless we take out kitchen cabinets.

Upon arrival customer stated he had a leak in the shutoff valve to hall bathroom toilet upon further inspection I found the leak to be coming from the back side of the compression nut customer also said he had a fill valve in his master bathroom toilet that would not shut off and he was having to shut off the valve manually at the shutoff valve I Replaced shutoff valve in upstairs hall bathroom And replace fill valve in master bathroom toilet 6 month warranty on the shutoff valve replacement parts and labor 90 day on the fill valve replacement parts and labor

Gave estimate to hydrojet corrugated storm drain lines

Arrived at homeowners home to work off of estimate to replace cast-iron P-trap for laundry drain. I informed homeowner that I would have to cut the drywall and I will not be responsible for the drywall repair but I would put the pieces back as best as possible, homeowner agreed. I cut off old cast-iron P-trap and replaced it with a PVC P-trap. While pipe was open, I ran my dream machine to clean out the pipe as best as possible. When I was done, I was unable to run water down drain because city has water cut off right now, homeowner said that he will let me know how everything went when the water is back on. Replace light fixture

Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowner had wash machine drain that was backing up. I was out previously and informed the homeowner that the cast iron drains have built up rust and have went from a 2 inch pipe to an inch pipe, not allowing the water to flow. I took off the washing machine supply line and put it in the drain then turned on the washing machine shut off to about half port and everything was draining fine, then, when I turned the shut off to full port, the drain started to back up telling me that the cast iron has closed up. I explain to the homeowner that we could cut open the wall and replace the cast-iron P-trap with a PVC P-trap and pull the toilet in the bathroom and run the drain machine to clean out the pipe as best as possible. Gave the homeowner an estimate to do the work. Homeowner said he wants to think about it for a couple days and will call us back if he wants to move forward with the work. I arrived to the property and re-pipe the waterlines in the home from the pressure reducing valve all the way to each fixture throughout the home. I re-pipe the home with Upnor eliminating any piping from being located under the slab. The meter stopped spinning, which showed that there were no leaks on the install. I pressurize the system and tested for any leaks. There is a one year parts and labor warranty on everything and a 10 year labor warranty on the piping itself.

Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowner has washing machine drain that is backing up. After talking with the homeowner. I found that this happened last night. After inspecting work I was able to give homeowner an estimate to run drain machine with an attempt to cable out blockage on wash machine drain. Homeowner accepted. I disconnected the hot and cold supply lines from the washer and stuck them in the washing machine drain and turn them on to see how long it will take for the pipe to fill up, but the pipe never filled up. I explain to the homeowner that everything is draining fine , but homeowner wanted me to still run my machine for a safety precaution. I ran my machine and then ran water with no back ups. The customer has a leak under their slab on the hot side. I isolated it to inside the home on the hot water side. After discussing with the customer some options whether that slab or re-piping, she chose to re-pipe the waterlines and inside her home through the attic down with all new piping. I will return tomorrow to complete The re-pipe. Keep smiling plumbing will not be responsible for any sheet rock, replacement or repairs, or any repairs to any cabinets, trim, baseboards, flooring.

Customer is adamant about not repiping the house and does not want her downstairs ceiling cut. Waiting for confirmation on part availability for repairs. Will know if 1/2” mechanical coupling for galvanized is available tomorrow. Once part is located, we can decide which route she would like to take. Waived dispatch fee as a courtesy

Customer was under assumption we had leak detection equipment. Explained to homeowner that we could potentially isolate leak and give him options for repairing or replacing the line so that they don’t continue to have leaks every few years. He was not interested in long term solution. He was adamant about having someone with leak detection equipment come pinpoint leak for spot repair. Has had it done in the past, 7 years ago and 2 years ago. Waived dispatch fee due to misunderstanding.
