Upon arrival, customer stated he had a leak on his main waterline. He stated that he shut off the water coming into the church and checked the meter and it was still spinning. Customer wanted an estimate to run a new waterline from meter to the church. Gave customer two different estimates, one estimate was running the waterline using a trench machine, and the other estimate was running the new waterline, using directional boring.
Homeowner currently has a whole house stoppage that resulted in sewage overflowing in downstairs bathroom. Clean out access was located by front porch. Keep Smiling Plumbing performed camera inspection from the sewer clean out in order to diagnose drain issue. Diagnosis resulted in discovering a large root intrusion located in the front yard, directly below the tree. Keep Smiling was able to bring mini-excavator on site to excavate the front yard in order to access compromised sewer line. I arrived to the property and the customer is having issues in their master bathroom shower when the toilet was flushed, it would reduce the water volume significantly. After checking the other parts of the home, it was an issue amongst all of the bathrooms in the home. First II arrived to the property and the customer is having issues in their master bathroom shower when the toilet was flushed, it would reduce the water volume significantly. After checking the other parts of the home, it was an issue amongst all of the bathrooms in the home. First I replaced the pressure reducing valve, hoping that that would fix the water balance issues in the home which it was unsuccessful. Next to just rule it out I replace the fill valve in the master bathroom toilet and that did not work either. I gave the customer the option to take out the material used and not charge or anything or else just charge. Her material cost of $107.38. Customer chose to keep the materials and pay for the material use
Upon arrival costumer stated she had a toilet in her hallway bathroom that her flapper broke off. She said her kitchen faucet was making a banging noise when turned on. I checked her pressure and it was at 95 psi. Spoke to Ken for approval on replacing prv and installing a new flapper. After both repairs were made I checked the new pressure and it was at 50 psi. The faucet was not making the banging noise anymore. We installed a new flapper and checked to make sure the toilet was not leaking. Parts and labor on PRV has a 1 year parts and labor warranty.
Arrived on the job and spoke with our client about what issues they’ve been having. A number of outlets in the kitchen and dinning room had no power due to a tripped GFCI. KSPEHC returned to perform work from previous estimate. Tech installed new fill valve for toilet in master bathroom. After installation was completed tech flushed multiple times to make sure no issue remained. No issues at this time
KSPEHC was called out for a toilet running. While on site tech was shown to the master bathroom toilet. Tech noticed the fill valve for the toilet would not stop the water from filling the tank. Tech explained that this is usually caused by high static pressure or by age and sometimes both. Tech checked pressure on system and saw that it read 60 psi. At this time tech located pressure valve and noticed that the adjustment bolt was threaded in close to the lock nut. This means the regulator has already been adjusted in order to maintain proper pressure. Adjusting a regulator is a sign that the regulator is failing and needs to be replaced in order to maintain a safe operating water distribution system. Tech provided options for necessary repairs. Husband was unavailable to take part in the conversation/decision making at this time. Homeowner will reach out once a decision has been made Tech also mentioned financing options

Upon arrival. I was greeted by Mr. Ketchum. He provided his authorization signature for myself and the dig team to get started. The dig team was successful at trenching and boreing in order to run the new water line. I connected the line with a dual check valve at the meter. The new shut off and pressure valve were installed in staircase cavity. I pressurized the system and expelled all of the air after everything was connected. No signs of leaks on any of the new connections. The new pressure valve allowed for approximately 50 psi. I adjusted the pressure up to approximately 65 psi. A few minor dirt footprints we found on the carpet in one of the bedrooms. I believe I got all of the dirt successfully scrubbed off. Mr. Ketchum was made aware of this. I applied hydraulic cement to patch the hole on the foundation where the new line was ran through. I advised Mr. Ketchum to inspect the work over the next few days. * 5 year warranty on exterior work. * 1 year warranty on interior work.
On arrival found condensate pump constantly running, safety drain pan full of water and overflowing, vinyl tubing clogged as well as 3/4” pvc Ptrap. Pan safety switch never activated to shut system down, technician recommends replacing. Condensate pump is struggling to pump water up and out vinyl tubing and technician also recommends replacing that as soon as possible as it could completely go out at anytime. Vacuumed water from pan, cleared condensate drain Ptrap and vinyl tubing with compressed air. Tested drain and pump system and flushed with two gallons of water. System is now draining, however pump is having a hard time keeping up. Thank you for choosing Keep Smiling. Have a great day. Homeowner would like a hard copy of receipt mailed to her as she has no email at this time.
I arrive to the property in the customer thought that they may need a cartridge swapped out on their faucet, which I ended up waiting for the water to get hot and it came out very hot. Explained to the customer that it needed to be turned onto the hot side and wait a minute and it will come out hot.
Upon arrival, I was greeted by Mr. Ketchum. He brought me to the foundation at the house to show me the leak in his main waterline. I examined the yard and the cavity under the stairs where the line would have to be ran and put together an estimate for a replacement. Mr. Ketchum has verbally agreed to let us perform the work. He and his wife are first wanting to figure out the method of payment they want to agree on. Out of pocket versus financing. This job is tentatively scheduled for Wednesday morning, September 9. No dispatch fee was charged.
