Upon arrival, customer stated he had a sump pump that has not been working over 24 years. Customer stated every time he would use the bathroom it would overflow in his basement. Customer finally wanted to take care of the issue. He also thought the outlet were the pump connected to did not have power as well. After further inspection, I noticed the pump did have a vent system. The outlet nearest to the pump and did indeed have power. Customer did not approve estimate.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by Mr. Rupani. He brought me to the upstairs guest bathroom while expressing his concern about a leak. He mentioned that this leak could be heard while standing in the bathroom. What Mr. Rupani had going on was a running toilet due to the flapper having failed. I provided multiple estimates, however, Mr. Rupani only one of the flapper replaced. Before performing the work, I shut off the water to the toilet and inspected the water meter. The needle on the meter was not spinning. This indicates that there are no other leaks or running toilets. He agreed to the price for replacing the flapper, allowing me to move forward. Once I replaced the flapper, I flushed the toilet multiple times. I added blue dye to help with testing the new flapper. It seals properly. Mr. Rupani no longer has a running toilet. * 1 year warranty

Cast iron, horizontal run ruptured in the basement. Mr Surmik wanted a quote to replace all cast iron from the main floor with pvc, including the vertical drops into the slab, adding a 36x36 center drain addition for a shower in the basement bathroom. I would then replace all of the inground cast-iron in the basement floor as well with PVC tying into the PVC. Going to the septic tank. We would not touch any cashed going as vent stacks to the second floor of the home. Before we left Mr. Surmik asked if we were able to raise the pressure on the home. Upon checking the pressure on the home we found it to be 45 psi with a brand new PRV, 25 AUB. I was able to turn the pressure on the home up to 60psi. the quote has been emailed and will be good for 30 days

Upon arrival, customer claim she wanted her yearly tankless flush. I gave her a price of 425 and I added a 5% senior discount. She agreed on the price and work with them today. She also mentioned to me that she had a hose bib that kept leaking even when she had it turned off. So I told her I would be replacing the gasket for free while I wait for the tankless to flush. On arrival performed heating maintenance inspection on one 2015 model Goodman 80% gas furnace. Checking one 16x25x1 media filter recently replaced by homeowner. Checked all electrical and mechanical components. Checked blower motor and blower wheel, inducer motor, pressure switch, gas valve, hot surface igniter, flame sensor, temperature rise, ductwork, condensate pump, voltage, amperage, and capacitance. The Liddell’s have a 10 year old Rinnai R94 that has never been serviced, and now it’s malfunctioning intermittently. Coding out with “11”(no ignition) and “10”(mixture problem). Gave options and the Liddell’s optid to replace tankless. Will return tomorrow for installation.

Upon arrival, customer stated hall bathroom, toilet downstairs across from the kitchen was clogged upon inspection. I noticed the blockage was just in the P-trap of the toilet and I used my 5 foot hand auger to clear blockage. flush four times. All is well.

Landlord explained that they have had several high water bills from the water company. He did repair one running toilet himself initially, but has since still received high water bills. Inspected the property with landlord and tenants to ensure there was no leaks. Meter did not run at all, stayed at .52 gallons for 15 minutes. All toilets are good and not leaking. No slab leaks. The Goodwin family had a soft tissue blockage in the master bathroom. Over time the stopper became clogged with congealed soap and hair, once removed the drain worked properly.

Checked deltaT and have a 19° split between return air and supply air temperatures. Inspected furnace heat exchanger and found a significant amount of rust piled up inside indicating a compromised heat exchanger. Technician recommends not to run furnace due to possible hazards. Upon arrival, I was greeted by Ms. Rich and her son. They brought me to the upstairs bathroom so that they could inform me about what was done during the previous visit while showing me the current issue. What recently happened was this toilet would back up when they would attempt to flush it. They admitted that this toilet is rarely used and that they would primarily flush it in order to replenish it with new water. After some discussion, we figured out that this toilet backing up is unrelated to the previous visit. I offered to use my toilet auger, at no charge, just in case there could be a basic blockage happening. I informed them of the possibility of removing the toilet in order to run a sewer machine. This would be with a charge. They allowed me to use my auger as the first step. I used the auger for several minutes before attempting to flush the toilet.
