KSPEHC was called out for a customer supplied faucet install. Once on site homeowner shows tech to hall bathroom on main floor. Homeowner is wanting to have faucet replaced for this bathroom. During inspection of the existing faucet tech noticed the sink is beginning to sag from the wall and is ultimately being held up and supported by the base of the pedestal. Next tech explained that in order to make sure the new fixture investment is protected we need to make sure the pressure is properly regulated on the entire home. Tech checked pressure on bottom of water heater located in the basement. Pressure reading was 60 psi. This is within the safe operating pressure range and no actions are necessary at this time. Homeowner approved tech to install customer supplied lavatory faucet. Tech then noticed the emergency shut off valves do not stop the water. Tech provided an option to replace the valves however homeowner opted out of this service. If there is a need for stop the w
Gave estimate for diagnostic fee to diagnose what is wrong with tankless water heater. Customer stated tankless has not been in use for over a month.
Oh, toilets in the home has severely degraded flush mechanism gaskets. In the hall bathroom the old pop stop style flush mechanism would not seat right even after 5 tries; so I went ahead and put in a new flush valve with flapper on top of the tall valve in that restroom making it a complete toilet rebuild The master bath the flapper was completely concaved, allowing water to continuously escape. So we change that flapper as well. I have an estimate going over for all of the copper in the crawlspace with roughly 9 foot ceilings. None of the copper is insulated nor has heattape.
Replaced emergency stop in downstairs bathroom. Included new supply line at no extra charge.
Toilet in the basement was leaking from the base, once I pulled the toilet I found standing water in the pipe. I was able to go over to where the pumpkin was, and found that the outlet did not have any power, I moved the plug over to another outlet, and the pump kicked on instantly. Everything is functioning as it should.
On arrival installed new Pro T701 non-programmable digital display thermostat. Tested system to ensure proper operation. System is heating/cooling as it should at this time. Thank you for choosing Keep Smiling. Have a great day.
Upon arrival, customer stated he had a leak in his garage, coming from drain line. Upon further inspection I could see a big crack/gash in the pipe going back about 5 to 6 feet customer was left with an estimate for taking out a section of the cinderblock wall, and digging a tunnel under the slab to find a good section of pipe to transition to PVC pipe and come back to the garage in PVC pipe to then pick back up the kitchen drain line
Homeowner is having ignition issues with their water heater in the garage. Pilot is staying lit, but full burner is struggling to kick on. It appears the homeowners under mount kitchen sink brackets have failed and the sink has started to sag down away from the granite countertops. Every time kitchen sink is being used, small amounts of water was splashing through and soaking down into the cabinets and flooring in the kitchen. Suggested homeowner call countertop service company to come out and remount/seal kitchen sink.

Arrived on the job and spoke with our client about what they would be needing. After seeing how much stuff was needing I took a look at everything to give them multiple options. I presented these options to our client explaining them all thoroughly. Our client was interested in having their bathroom light uninstalled, repositioning the electrical box to center over the faucet, and moved up to give room for a light up mirror that needs to be wired and installed beneath it, along with uninstalling an existing flood light, testing it to confirm it has proper power, to reinstall a new flood in its place. Couldn’t agree on a price and no work was performed.
Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowner had countertops replaced so the countertop people uninstalled the garbage disposal along with the kitchen faucet. They explained that they could not put everything back because the emergency shut off would not shut off. After inspecting work, I gave homeowner an estimate to install customer supplied faucet along with the garbage disposal, and as a courtesy, I would replace both emergency shut off so that were leaking. Homeowner declined and said that it was too much and that the countertop people would do it for free they just couldn’t because of the leak. Homeowner explained that if I could just fix the leak. Gave homeowner an estimate to replace both emergency shut off underneath kitchen faucet. Homeowner accepted. I did the work. Tested for leaks and functionality and all is well. Thank you for choosing keep smiling Plumbing electric, heating and cooling. Both the emergency shut off valves come with a one-year warranty through keep smiling Plum
Upon arrival customer claimed he had a pipe burst under his water heater. After inspecting it it was polybutylene pipe. I saw multiple repairs where the leak has happened and explained to the customer what type of pipe it was and it’s issues that it has. Fortunately the split in the pipe looked like an easy repair. I gave him a price I could do it at, he agreed and signed. I cut off around 4 inches of poly and replaced it to Pex. After making last connection, the customer turned water back on to test and no leaks were seen. Since this issue has happened before he would want an estimate to repipe the whole house because he doesn’t want it to happened again. I will be sending him an estimate through email to see if he wants to go ahead and get it done. There will be no warranty due to the type of pipe Thank you for choosing keep smiling plumbing !!!!! We do have Financing!!!!!

Tech determined the inner tank was corroded and leaking through the outer shell. There is no repair that can be made therefore replacement is the only option. Tech provided options for 10 and 6yr water heater as well as financing and pay in full options. Homeowner opted to go with the financing for the standard 6 yr 50 gal gas water heater. At todays visit, Mr. Prince is interested in having a new breaker box installed for one of the buildings on his property.
