I was met on site by Mrs. Crossland. An appointment was scheduled with Keep Smiling in order to replace the garbage disposal. A new one was already purchased by Mr. and Mrs. Crossland. I assessed the original and new one in order to ensure that this is the correct model along with what it would take to perform the work. With the assessment done I put together a couple options to go over with Mrs. Crossland. There were two options. They’re only differences were including versus excluding replacing the basket strainer. Mrs. Crossland opted to move forward with excluding the basket strainer. She signed the estimate, allowing me to move forward. This disposal was extremely difficult to replace. The connection point between the basket strainer, and the disposal was rusted together. I had to remove the disposal connection using a saw. With how difficult the replacement was, I forewarned Mrs. Crossland that I may end up having to replace the basket strainer. I assured her that I would follow

Upon arrival customer stated that she has two faucets she’s having issues with. One is the master bathroom delta Roman tub valve is leaking And the other is the guest bathroom faucets hot side will not turn on. Upon inspection I found that the cartridges for the Roman tub valve have failed allowing water to seep through meaning that the cartridges, seats and springs need to be replaced. The guest bathroom faucets hot side would not turn on because the valve had been turned off. When I turned the valve on I found that it had been turned off because that cartridge had failed as well and is dripping. I explained to the customer that I wouldn’t recommend just replacing the hot side cartridge and that it’s best to keep both the same age. I presented the customer a price to fix all their issues and she agreed Today I Replaced both the hot and cold delta cartridges in the upstairs guest bathroom vanity faucet And also the hot and cold cartridges in the master bathroom tub valve.

Technician performed tune up for 3 year old gas furnace split system. Filter was replaced. System is producing a 20 degree temperature difference. Indoor unit has operational float switch. Condensate pump is working. Blower motor bearings are great. Blower wheel is a little dirty. Outside capacitor is in good standing. Refrigerant pressures are in normal range. Upon inspection the refrigerator itself is leaking.

Upon arrival, homeowner stated that toilet in hall bath what constant running water in tank. After further inspection, determined that fill valve valve for toilet was no longer functional and needed replacement. Checked water pressure in home and found it to be within safe range of 45psi. Presented quote to homeowner on recommended repairs and she agreed. Drained water from tank, removed old fill valve and installed new fill valve. Customer called and stated that the sink one of our technicians had previously installed did not come with a drain assembly and there was no way for her to drain her new sink. After a brief discussion, we decided to order her pop-up drain assembly to match the faucet. While I was going outside, I noticed that the hose bib was constantly leaking and I offered to make a repair. The customer accepted the offer and I proceeded to cut out the old hose bib from the crawl space and then I attached a female adapter onto the hose bib and tied back into the water and caulked around the hose bib so no water will enter the basement. Installed dimmer by panel box near basement entry for flood lights and install dimmer for front porch light

Upon arrival customer stated that her sink in the kitchen is starting to fall into the cabinet and is having to brace it up with a stack of books. Upon my inspection I found that the under mount sink is falling off of the countertop and that the sink is in a corner cabinet. I explained to the customer that we are only setup to branch an under mount sink in a square cabinet due to how our braces are designed. I contacted Just Smiling to re-route the plumbing for y new single drain kitchen sink. My previous sink was a two drain system and in order to remove the old sink I had to cut the hot water 1/2 inch tubing due to a stubborn connector fitting. My plan was to complete the installation work myself but due to the plumbing issues of a single drain vs previous two drains and knowing that a proper P-Trap and other things had to be to state and local codes I reached out to Just Smiling. Our assigned technician Justin Rose arrived precisely at 8:05 A.M., five minutes into the arrival window of 8:00 A.M. to -12:00 P.M. as assured the previous day by the Keep Smiling Dispatcher. He discussed the task with me, assessed how best to implement after informing me of the two available options, provided the quote, provided a completion time estimate of 1-hour and promptly started executing the task. As estimated, he completed the tasks in an hour, tested the sink for leaks and fixed a plaguing clogged drain by replacing the clogged sewer vent cap. I strongly recommend Just Smiling for any plumbing work.

Customer just installed a new drop in sink. He went from 2 basin with garbage disposal to 1 basin without. I will need to reconfigure drain lines. He already has sink, faucet and basket strainer installed. He approved quote and I cut drain stack out. Glued new tee and existing studdor vent and angled the 1.5 inch section a different way and put new trap with dishwasher tailpiece. Reattached everything and made sure all s tight. Waited a bit for glue to dry and ran water several minutes. Observe no leaks and everything draining properly. Sink is loose still and customer will secure it, he was just waiting to get everything connected 1st. 1 year warranty on repair. Water pressure is normal. Total paid today is $342.50

Install new camera above garage door

Arrived at customers house customer stated there was a leak. I went downstairs into the basement where they said that the leak was dripping and tried to find the source of the leak and I couldn’t so I went into the upstairs. Bathroom went on the other side of the wall cut the drywall to look at the shower valve in the shower valve was not leaking after doing a thorough diagnosis. I determined that the silicone around the edges of the tub is bad and water was leaking in between the tile in the tub into the basement ceiling. After conversing with the homeowner, I left him an estimate for a brand, new PRV and brand new main water shut off valve. Homeowner stated that he already had a quote for $300 from an independent contractor for replacing it. I informed him that we cannot beat that price but if he wanted, professionally installed by our company, he can give us a call back. Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowner head upstairs hall bathroom bathtub that was constantly dripping from the tub spout. After talking with the homeowner and taking a look at the tub, I was able to determine that it is a price Pfister, three handle tub and shower valve that the seat and stems have deteriorated causing it to leak. I explained to the homeowner that I would have to check the pressure to make sure the pressure is in working order and has not caused the Fossett to leak as well as for me to be able to warrantee my work. I check the pressure at the bottom of the water heater and found that the pressure was 40 psi and the water heater was installed in 2024. I explained to the homeowner that the pressure was perfect and that it was not because of the issue. From there I was able to give the homeowner an estimate to replace the three seats and stems in the three handle tub and shower valve in the upstairs hall bathroom. the homeowner explained that it was a bit more than what

Technician came for no cooling call. After diagnostic check, technician replaced capacitor for main floor system. Outside compressor was still not running. After further investigating, found compressor for main floor shorted to ground. Technician put old capacitor back and informed resident. 3rd floor system is not cooling very well. System has R22 for refrigerant so I informed resident of our policy. The basement level system is cooling in the mid 60’s. Informed resident that the capacitor for the basement condenser is getting weak. Resident stated that that floor is not used much at the moment and is not a priority. At the Hayes office there was a floodlight that was not able to reconnect in the app. The floodlight remained on at all times but wouldn’t transmit video. At first the idea was to cut power off at the breaker but this would need wire tracing. The other downside would mean there would be a risk of disrupting the office space if it was sharing a circuit. The best cost effective solution was to just simply disconnect while live. Once we’ve disconnected the flood light for few minutes I reinstalled. We were able to scan the back of the flood light and install it back in the ring app. After some updating the flood light is back up and running. The voltage was completely fine at 118.7. If something like this were to occur again it would be best to investigate were the wire is being fed from.

Hand dig water line from meter to new penetration approximately 60 feet. Install new 3/4 pex water line with new ball valve and prv in basement. Cut out old Prv and gate valve and repipe that 2 foot section. Hydrologic cement new penetration. Test for leaks. Cover up water line. Comes with 5 year warranty. No responsible for landscaping.

Upon arrival, homeowner stated that his kitchen sink would not drain properly. After further investigation, it was found that there was a clog in the 3 inch pipe where the two drain lines connected into each other. After deducing this I then talk to the homeowner about aurging the line going through the sink drains and gave him an estimate to perform the work. After reading through the estimate, he wanted me to proceed with work. After work was completed I made sure to test everything for leaks and to make sure that everything was running properly( it was) I also gave the homeowner a verbal warranty agreement for 30 days. Arrived at homeowners home. Homeowner had garbage disposal. That was not working. After talking with the homeowner. He has explained that he has already hit the reset button but it is still giving him issues. I explain to the homeowner that I would have to charge a diagnostic fee to investigate what is going on with the garbage disposal and then I would be able to come to him with an answer. He accepted. I took a look at the garbage disposal, and found that it was jammed from the bottom so I inserted the Allen key and got it on jammed, then turned it on but still heard clanking from inside the garbage disposal so I took a look and found two plastic pieces that were lodged in the garbage disposal. I was able to retrieve them, then turn on the garbage disposal and it worked fine, with no leaks. At today’s visit, I spoke with Mr. Nnakwe. He informed me he wanted the gfci in the garage replaced as well as a fixture in an upstairs closet replaced. Additonally he stated that the bath fan in the master bath did not work as well as an issue with the receptacle powering his ups in the master bedroom constantly cutting off. I provided an estimate to have the gfci replaced, bathfan internals to be replaced to restore function, supply and install a new fixture for the closet and diagnose and repair the outlets in the bedroom cutting out. Mr. Nnakwe approved of the work. Therefore, I supplied and installed a new 15A GFCI in the garage. In the bedroom, we replaced the receptacle powering the ups to correct a loose connection issue that was observed. Additionally, we examined the other outlets and repaired 2 outlet connections. In the bathroom, I supplied and installed the new internals for the bath fan which restored the function. In the closet, I supplied and installed a 14” round flat

Customer had complaints of main level system not cooling properly upon inspection. It was determined that the capacitor of 40–5 was exploded and needed to be replaced. Replaced capacitor system still wasn’t working. With a further diagnostic, it was determined. The system was out on low pressure due to an R 22 Freon leak system is a straight AC gas furnace upflow in the basement for main level. Recommend a full system replacement. Customer has a comfort consult on Monday.
